We hired the pros to transform our backyard. We were extremely excited about how they would turn our vision into reality and after patiently waiting, we got the BACKYARD OF OUR DREAMS!!!!! We are so happy with the final result. We had to tweak some things around but they accommodated to make sure everything was just how we wanted. I would not recommend The Pros Inc. Once they took my money, communication became almost nonexistent. I had multiple issues that needed to be addressed, but getting anyone to respond or follow through was extremely frustrating. My biggest disappointment was with Salo. He did not respond to my calls or messages and failed to resolve the problems despite repeated attempts to reach him. Good customer service doesn't end after payment, and unfortunately that wasn't my experience. If you're considering hiring this company, be aware that my experience was that they were quick to take payment but very slow--or unwilling--to fix issues afterward. read more

I would not hire The Pros Inc. (TPI) AKA The Pros Landscape Management Inc., owner Salomon Lopez Perez (SLP), and I do not recommend them. TPI installed a new home lawn: removed grass & topsoil, replaced topsoil, & applied Hydroseed in 2023. Outcome is a "failed lawn" per SLP. I contacted TPI/SLP many times; they failed to perform. TPI demanded payment of the project balance before the hydroseed was applied. By 8/21/23, I sent photographs of dead patches and dying grass. TPI said they will "fix" the lawn; TPI was a no-show on 8/26/23. I emailed photos on 9/15/23 showing dead grass and continuing deterioration. TPI came to hand-sprinkle seed; no hydroseed; did not replace dirt. I sent more photos on 10/27/23. On 11/18/23 SLP says he will have a crew come next spring [2024] "to rake, spread new soil, reseed, fertilize so we can help the lawn grow and thrive for the season." SLP never followed up or showed up. On 5/1/24 and 5/3/24, I called/emailed SLP and TPI and he visited the lawn on 5/20/24 and called the lawn "a failed lawn." SLP arranged a soil test via a different landscaper; results on 7/21/24 show the TPI soil provided has very low cation exchange capacity making it difficult for the soil to support growth of healthy turf. That company recommended the soil be replaced and re-seeded. A second sample analyzed by a university laboratory reported that the electrolytes in the TPI-provided soil contained undesirably high electrolytes (Mg, P, Al), out of range of desired levels to grow and sustain grass; 53.4% of the TPI dirt is gravel, not compatible with growing and sustaining a lawn. Naked eye can see pebbles. As of 8/6/24, TPI-SLP failed "to fix" our "failed lawn" or refund partial payment. TPI delays/ignores customer's request to complete their work and keep their word to fix it. TPI urges customers to post only positive reviews, so prospective customers should beware reviews may not represent TPI's customers' satisfaction with TPI. On 8/21/2024, TPI and SLP wrote that that if, and only if, I remove my negative reviews and withdraw my lawsuit against them will they make an attempt to fix the lawn, and they demand their rating be raised to 5 stars upon completion of re-hydroseeding whether the grass sprouts or survives! read more

The Pros do not return telephone calls or respond emails/letter, when a customer complains of poor quality or follows up to hold Salo and The Pros Inc. to their word about the landscaping project for a suburban lawn. the Pros did some extensive landscaping at our home two summers ago including a long flight of steps up a hill in our backyard made from landscape timbers. the crew did a great job and it looks great. Unfortunately, last fall I noticed the steps had moved considerably. I called Sal and he came and looked at them and agreed that they were covered under their 2year warranty. He sent a crew out this spring and they removed and reset the affected steps which were considerable. Hector and his crew did a great job and we were very pleased with the result. Based on the great job they did initially and their timely response and repair to our steps, I would recommend them highly. read more

10 months ago Pro did a paver driveway for me. every time it rains, half of the driveway floods up to 3". Despite many requests to fix it, nothing has been done. Salo, the owner, said that he would not honor the 2 year warranty unless I gave a 5 * review! read more

We hired Salo and his crew to complete several tree removals in our yard on our new home purchase. There was a HUGE enormous overgrown tree in the middle of our yard that an eye sore and they were able to remove it within one day. They were prompt with their responses, highly professional, and watching them climb and work was just GREAT! Hands down - would hire them again for our future landscaping needs!! read more

When my partner and I first saw our property in the winter of 2022 we immediately agreed that a back yard patio would be a perfect addition to this well-maintained home. We moved in during the summer 2022. In the spring of 2023 we were ready to begin the job and enquired with 3 contractors found through Angi's List. We got 2 estimates and after meeting Salo Lopez we finally settled on The Pros because of the price and quality of the materials they proposed to use, thermal bluestone. Salo estimated a fair price within our budget and was very professional. The Pros were excellent at communicating the start date for the job. When conditions and schedule changed they notified us. The job began and I had the pleasure of meeting the crew. The foreman, Hector, went over the job and work began. The Pros installed a 630 sq ft bluestone patio that required leveling by about 2 ft on the down side of the slope. They also installed a drain in front of my garage and patio and tied in the down spouts from the garage to an underground french drain. Hector was very good at addressing all my concerns and the job was completed. They did an outstanding job and even returned to adjust the drain and polymeric sand installation. The Pros are very good at communication and quelling anxiety with a large project like this. I highly recommend this professional and hard working company for landscaping projects and will use them in the future. read more

Turns out the soil in my back yard is chock full of big rocks, so they had a bit of trouble making everything come out perfectly square -- but they certainly worked hard to get it done as nicely as possible, and delivered a nice fence at the end of the day. read more

When I called up some landscaping companies last fall, Salo was one of only a few that actually returned my call. He was able to come just a couple days later to discuss our project (planting some small trees & shrubs). Salo was on time, professional, pleasant to talk with, and quick to get back to us with a quote. Although we ended up choosing another landscaper for our project (same one that has been cutting our lawn for several years), we weren't 100% happy with everything, and since we still have more projects for the future, we won't hesitate to contact The Pros again. read more

We have the house fully rented to tenants that have a bunch of dogs (& we couldn't go there daily to water the lawn), so the yard turned to 100% dirt. When I first called him, no one answered & I didn't leave a voicemail, I just went down my list of local places with good reviews. He promptly called me back though & I am SO glad he did!!
