They redid the outdoor patio last year and even though it's in a parking lot they did a nice job. Downside this location has been home to at least 2, maybe 3 failed restaurants before. John's came in and did a dust and clean repairs and paint. But you can't get away from the old restaurants. Oddly there is a second room that is large that used to have couple poor tables and a bunch of tables that only gets used for parties and occasional overflow for the main area. Washrooms for men is tiny and needs a makeover, so is the main area. Really dated decor. It's tough. Do you renovate and raise the prices to cover the costs or do try to keep costs down and keep the prices down? For this location it's starting to feel really worn. However the food is still great and we have even used it to cater a small party of 16 last year. I only took one star away because of the lack of any ambiance and the need of updates.
