This store is chock full of yarn and fabric. It was like walking into a room full of rainbows when we came in from the museum next door. I'm not really into quilting but the fabric was very amazing. There was an employee who referred to a specific kind of glue that I needed for a project, which was very helpful. The prices seemed fair from what I could gather. I just left this establishment and I am not too happy. While spending my hard earned money, I was treated rudely by both the cutter and the cashier in the shop today being Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 4:25 PM. I would not recommend this establishment because of their lack of customer service skills. Rude. Just plain rude. Had not been from out of town. I seriously would have not purchased the fabric. Ann, if that's your real name, get some skills because you do not do your business justice by behaving and speaking the way you did. Get a life. Because there are 1 million other places to buy fabric. read more

Both ladies in the store were unhelpful. One completely ignores us. The other was rude and unhelpful when my MIL asked a question. This same woman BASHED HOMESCHOOLED CHILDREN while at the front counter for ten minutes with another customer. We will never go back. What a disappointment. read more

The shop has wonderful fabric, yarn, gifts, and a fabulous, friendly staff! I found the shop as it is next door to the Texas Quilt Museum in LaGrange. After returning home, I have ordered online from them. When I called them with questions, they were equally friendly on the phone as they were in person. Great shop! read more

Warm and pleasant space and friendly and welcoming employees. This was the last of fourteen shops I visited during the 2015 yarn crawl. I feel it is by far the most attractively arrayed collection of yarn, just a profusion of color when you walk in. Maybe it's because they also sell fabrics. Highly recommend. I'll say I'm a handcrafter but not a quilter - this is paradise for knitters/crocheters AND quilters. I've been here a few times. Pros: These remarks are solely for the knitting side. The displays are nice and changed frequently. They carry some nice, common but high quality brands - Malabrigo, Plymouth, Rowan, Trendsetters and Manos. They also have some indie brands that were gorgeous. The needle selection was healthy - Hiya Hiya and Knitters Pride. Cons: The staff. Oh the staff.... I have never been greeted on any visit. I have been looked at and past, ignored or contemplated with disdain. I asked for a bathroom and I swear they checked me for bags as I walked past. In summary, I won't give them low marks because I was treated poorly - their selection and attention to details warrants 5 stars but I just can't get there. read more

This is a great quilt shop. Oh, and it is a yarn shop! It has a great selection of both. It feels welcoming just to walk in, a great environment. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is well organized and by looking you will know exactly where you want to go. They have sale fabrics in the very back of the store!
