I came back and tried their C2. iced Vietnamese milk coffee Flan and the matcha waffle. I'm glad that I picked this combo because they go so well together. The waffle texture and taste are unbelievable, especially when it's just out hot and crispy, but still fluffy inside. Together with the strong and sweet coffee tastes with the flan: food orgasm. The Quynh Cafe is a lovely Vietnamese cafe. I do not know of many Vietnamese cafes in the Metro Atlanta area, so I was pleased to find this spot! The inside is beautifully decorated with a lot of traditional and earthy tones. The staff were very nice as well. The cafe also smells very familiar to me (in the best way possible). At the moment, they do not offer Wi-Fi, so I would probably not study here. I ordered the Vietnamese Yogurt and it comes in two medium sized plastic cups. I really liked how it tasted. For people who do not know what Vietnamese Yogurt tastes like, it is sweet and tangy and has a silky and curdy texture. I really like tangy flavors, especially in yogurt, so I enjoyed this dessert! The space inside is not meant to hold a crowd of people, but enough to comfortably sit and do some work. They serve authentic Vietnamese desserts and coffee, and we decided to try both! I tried the Hazelnut Buttermilk coffee with Egg Foam, and truly enjoyed the taste. (I personally do not like cheese foam so I opted for the egg foam.) My friend got the Iced Milk Coffee with Cheese foam and he loved it as well. We paired our beverages with the Pandan Waffle and Flan. Both were perfectly made with fluffy and crispy texture for the waffle and the right amount of sweetness for the flan. It's a decent place to read, study, or do some light work if needed. A hidden gem in the heart of Duluth, GA. We came across this place while visiting Duluth area as it is a common area for all the good Asian drinks/eats. We were greeted by the Owner in which she explained all the different types of drinks that they had. Upon walking in to the shop, you can see how visually appealing it is with all the decorations. I really liked how it reminded me of Vietnam which all the different types of decor. I wanted to try their other drinks but it was 11am and I def needed my coffee fix. I ended up getting their egg coffee and I thought it tasted pretty good, it is pretty bitter but the egg cream on top is what makes it sweet when you stir it, and of-course when it gets watered down the coffee tastes better once its all mixed. Their famous Vietnamese iced coffee aka "cafe sua da" is their most popular drink choice. It comes with condensed milk and the drip coffee mixture. Prices vary depending on drinks, I think each drink was about $6-7. They also have great smoothie options. This is also a great place to study and do work. I do like the atmosphere and how spacious the shop was. The staff was also very friendly and nice. If I were in this area again, I would definitely come back to visit to try their other options.... My favorite neighborhood cafe. I looooove the decor and ofcourse all the plants in here! I also love the Mint Coffee Affogato that they took off the menu :( I love the owner and her son. When I went here on a Wednesday, there was no line and the store was pretty empty. Upon looking at the signs for dine in customers, it would deter me from even going to this place. The rules are: no WiFi/ outlet, limit 3 hours, and each customer has to order an item off their menu. With all of these rules, it would probably be better to go to a local coffee shop because coffee shops has WiFi, outlets, and no sitting limit. In addition, the menu items are so pricey. I am super surprised how most of their drinks are close to $10 and is so much pricier than CA. Soursop Smoothie (4/5): The drink is really good and tastes like soursop. The portions are a little small compared to what I'd expect. I'm giving this a 4 because it is a lil pricey. Pennyworth with Mungbean (3/5): This drink is pretty good but I think it would be better without mungbean. The mungbean has a powdery taste so it threw me off a bit. Vietnamese Coffee with Cheesefoam (4/5): I love how strong the coffee is. I think I would like it a little bit more if the coffee was just a little stronger. The cheesefoam isn't super tasty, but it's not bad. I'm giving this a 4/5 because the coffee itself is good and strong. Overall, I'm giving this a 3 star because the drinks are good, but it comes with a hefty pricey tag and I don't think the price justifies the drinks. read more

We were a group of four and only three of us wanted something but we weren't allowed to dine in even tho it was not busy at all with tons of seating . Stopped by for quick bubble tea after dinner. There was a lot of seating open and the owners were very inviting. My bf asked about a couple drinks and they explained it in detail and even offered to show a sample of durian to us when my bf asked what it was. DRINKS: Original Milk Tea (Medium $5) - Unlike most bubble tea drinks, the tea flavor shines through a lot. I believe it's because the drink was on the less sweeter side. Brown Cheesy Milk Boba ($7.75) - Make sure to stir the sugar at the bottom of the cup, otherwise it will just taste like milk. This drink doesn't include tea so it tastes like sweet milk, which is delicious and I would highly recommend since it's also a specialty drink. The only thing I had an issue with was how much ice was in the cups. I understand cafes put in around 40-50% of ice for business but the ice was about 80% of the cup here, so I would suggest asking them to put in less ice. Overall, I think what sets this place apart is that they offer authentic Vietnamese desserts and unique drinks. I would recommend stopping by and trying it out. read more

Came on a Saturday afternoon to study and was pleasantly surprised by how spacious and quiet it was! We ordered the iced Vietnamese coffee with egg foam, pandan waffle and flan. The coffee was creamy and strong, perfect to get through long hours of studying! Both the waffle and flan were also great snacks to go with the coffee. The servers were very friendly. After ordering, a server brought the food/drinks straight to the table and even explained the best way to enjoy the coffee. With a large menu of food and drink options, it seems like it would also be a great place to meet up with friends. It located in a plaza with a huge parking lot, so parking it not a problem here. This place is gorgeous! The owner is super sweet and the workers are very kind and helpful. The entire cafe is a great vibe. There are gorgeous plants, homey decor, and cute string lights! I love the culture that is embedded into this cafe-- there are gorgeous Buddhist statues by the entrance and tropical plants throughout to showcase the beauty of Vietnamese culture. This is a great study spot too-- tons of outlets, relaxing music, and nice comforting lightening. This would also be a perfect date spot or hangout with a group of friends. There is seating for all types, from single person sofas by outlets to a table in the back for larger friend groups. I got the pandan waffle and coconut cream coffee. Both were delicious! The pandan waffle was soft, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. You do not need any syrup. The coffee was one of a kind, and I truly thinks it's what makes this cafe stand out from the other ones in Duluth. The coffee was not too sweet (a HUGE compliment in Asian culture), flavorful, and strong. I liked that it tasted like actual coconut and not artificial coconut. I'm usually not a fan of coconut flavored things, but because this tasted like real coconut meat, I really enjoyed it. I will definitely come back for it. There is a huge variety of options here for all the types of diets-- tons of vegetarian and vegan options too. They even have Vietnamese egg coffee and showcase a bunch of boba types in the fridge along with Vietnamese dessert (che). I really liked this place in that you can tell the owner has a passion in her shop. You can truly tell she loves plants, showcasing her Vietnamese culture, foods and drinks, serving others, and that she is doing this because she enjoys it. This cute cafe is not just a way for her to make money and it really shows. Venetian Tiramisu Milk Tea ($6.50): EH. The boba lacked taste and was pretty hard. Iced Vietnamese Milk Coffee ($6.25): EH. I could not really taste the expresso. coffee is known for being dark and creamy. What I received was watered-down and very light coffee. Flan ($5): OK, but not special. Overall, The Quynh Cafe is OK. The interior design is cute, but I wouldn't come here for bubble tea. Instead, it may be a good spot to check out Vietnamese desserts. read more

Purely food based review: Venetian Tiramisu Milk Tea ($6.50) - very good drink, got with regular sweetness & ice. Boba was decent, but the flavor is really good. Irish Cream Milk Tea ($6) - very strong flavor, a little bit too sweet at normal level. Good if you like Irish Cream stuff though. Caramel Flan ($5) - Really good sharable portion for this price! Tasted very homemade and would highly recommend! Mixed fruits with durian (~$8) - traditional Vietnamese dessert with yogurt, mixed fruits and you have the option to add in free durian as a topping! The cafe is decorated in greenery and vines by the windows and gets nice sunny feels to the space and the rest of the inside gives off a nice rustic like cafe.
