We have met a number of agents over the years, and worked more seriously with 2. I can say confidently that Mathew Bahri stands out from the group for a couple of reasons: 1. Honest: We didn't want a "yes" realtor - someone who liked everyone home we asked the person about. We wanted someone who would provide an honest opinion, even if it meant telling you the house you like is not a great choice and the reasons why. Mathew thankfully saved us from going after some homes that clearly would not have met our needs, but were attractive to us at the time for the wrong reasons. You really need that honest opinion from a realtor who can give you an objective viewpoint. 2. Dedicated: I can't tell you how many late night and early morning strategy sessions we had, discussing how to approach going after a home that we wanted. He makes himself available whenever you need him and always responds quickly. He made us feel like we were his only clients, even though we know he has many. 3. Experienced: I didn't realize this when we first met him, but he has over 20 years of experience. He has seen so much, and it really shows. He knows when to push, and when to step back - and in the end, he gets results. 4. Truly puts client's interests first: This is possibly the most important in the list. We saw many situations where he could have pushed us to submit a really high bid which would have made his job much easier in the negotiation process.
