I've golfed once in about 20 years. It was here last month. This place is amazing. Great views. Luscious greenery. The staff were awesome. If the guy who never golfs had a great time how good must this place be? That good. P.S. I lost about 100 balls in the woods and/or water and/or street. Let me know if you find them.

This is a beautiful, challenging course. The fairways are impeccable and the rough is thick. It's hard to stay out of the rough with all the sloped fairways. There are also many blind shots so you have to go ahead and look to see if the players are out of the way before hitting. As a woman golfer I appreciated the forward tees being in such great shape. At many courses the forward tees are small, sloped and not as well maintained as the back tees. My husband and I decided to play the Ranch on a weekday as a birthday present for me. It cost $65 a piece after noon. Our tee time was 12:24. We finished at 5:50. It was the longest round of golf we played all year. There were a few foursomes ahead of us that were the slowest players ever. It really took away from our enjoyment. I'm not sure we would play there again. They need a ranger!!

I'd give this course 5 stars if the bunkers where a bit better. Great rolling hills and challenging greens. Some awesome views and great elevation changes. Challenging yet forgiving Great staff. Excellent food option and decent pro shop.

The fairways are dry, brittle, and full of clover -- like someone forgot this was supposed to be a golf course and not a bee sanctuary. The rough is so littered with lawn clippings it felt like we were golfing through a hay bale. Lose your ball? Good luck -- it's basically camouflaged in debris. Tee boxes? Some were so torn up I thought maybe we were supposed to tee off from the parking lot. One even had a full goose poop collection on display -- truly a wildlife refuge. And despite everything being bone dry, it's still cart-path-only on several holes year-round. Why? Who knows. Maybe the course just enjoys making you hike. The greens were actually decent, which was shocking -- like finding a perfectly iced cupcake in a dumpster. But by far the worst part was the staff. My friend and I were first-time players here, unsure where one tee box was, and briefly parked near it in the rough. Instead of offering directions or even basic decency, a man identifying himself as the "superintendent" yelled at us from across the road -- from inside his truck -- like we had just committed a federal crime. Maybe if they had better directions on the course as to where the next the next tee box is we wouldn't have had to do a circle Honestly, the interaction made sense; the fact the head greenskeeper was leaving at 10AM, because the entire course was poorly maintained. Joshua Lennie needs to get his priorities straight In short: Edgewood offers dried-up fairways, clippings galore, poop-laced tee boxes, and a warm welcome from a guy who thinks kindness is optional. I won't be back -- unless I forget what grass is supposed to look like.

We've been here a handful of times now and have enjoyed the experience every time! The atmosphere…read moreis really cool (beautiful barn/indoor space with plenty of seating) and the staff has been fantastic. Most recently we enjoyed their outdoor seating and live music offerings. They have a lot of outdoor space which is dog-friendly so long as they are on a leash. Beers: They have a good variety of brews available which is always nice! They seem to have staples that are available nearly year round and plenty of seasonal options. We enjoyed The Dude (stout), Big Red Barn (imperial red ale), House Export (lager helles), Snowy Silo (winter ale) and Lemon Shandy. We were not so crazy about their Saison's, but that's more a matter of personal preference. Food: Gotta love a brewery that also has a solid menu! We get the wings every time we visit. They are big, crispy and perfectly prepared (coming from a Buffalo native and a total wing snob). We particularly enjoyed the old bay and Cajun dry rubs! We also tried their paninis when we visited back in February and they were very good. Covid-19: Beer in the time of Corona! They recently reopened (mid June 2020) and had a large tent set up out back with social-distance-arranged picnic tables. They were actively cleaning tables as people were leaving them. They also have a large open seating area so folks brought in lawn chairs and set up their own spaces. Face masks were required while ordering beer/food and walking around but not while seated. They had an outdoor bar set up where they poured drinks and took food orders. They gave a number for food and would call out once it was ready. Food was packaged in to-go containers within bags that you could take back to your area to eat. Overall I think they are handling the re-opening very well while sticking to the states guidelines.

First off I will help you by saying the beer is probably the worst I have ever had from any brewery and I have been to many and I mean many over my life. Secondly, they can't handle any social media criticism. I recently left a review of a show saying it wasn't very good but praised the atmosphere even though the beer is awful. They took it down not only once but twice. A real establishment would say something like "Im sorry we didnt live up to your standards" but no, like cowards they deleted it because they didnt want other people to see it. Very unprofessional. So here I am. The beer is a Negative star and the staff a one star and they only get that because the parking attendant was nice.
