This is hands down one of the best barbershops in all of Las Vegas. Every barber here is legit talented, the prices are solid, and the atmosphere is always on point. I usually go to Frosty, he's top-tier...but Los, aka Biggie Cheese, is just as sharp. These guys are masters at modern fades, clean combovers, crispy lineups, and even those signature Edgar cuts. It's a perfect spot to kick it with the boys, but also super welcoming for families. The whole shop has a cozy, laid-back vibe that makes you feel right at home. They're also authorized retailers of Suavecito pomade, so I always stock up on my hair products while I'm there. When the TVs aren't playing Mexican novelas, you'll catch sports or literally every Fast & Furious movie on loop. Step outside and you're greeted by a wild but oddly comforting mix of Japanese BBQ, Burger King, and fresh aftershave in the air. I recently moved here from Hawaii and needed a haircut BADLY..back home in hawaii, I've always got my haircut by the same barber since I was 18, I'm 32 now so of course was nervous of where to go to get cleaned up at. I was browsing yelp for awhile in all different categories from barbers to salons and this barbershops got amazing reviews so I figured ahh what the hell I guess I'll give it a shot, I read a reviews that suggested Eddie so of course I'm going to go with what the majority says so I called to schedule an appointment. as soon as I walked in I got seated in a very organized and clean area and even got to watch the movie "blind side" lol i explained to Eddie that I was nervous because I've only stuck with one barber for decades and he just asked how I'd like to get it cut, all I had to say was skin fade and short messy fauxhawk pushed to my left & I loved how he kept checking in to make sure everything is okay with how the cut is going. he's really easy to talk to especially since I suffer from bad anxiety & depression but I felt at home there. the staff is pretty much treat each other like family. I HAVE to say Eddie gave me the best haircut I've ever gotten in my life, I felt so fresh and clean afterwards. you could tell Eddie takes A LOT of pride in his work. it's cash only but not to worry because they also have an ATM there that doesn't charge much to withdraw. I too STRONGLY suggest getting your haircut done by Eddie, I'd also call in advance and schedule an appointment just to be sure you got a locked in time slot. I have now found my go to for haircuts and it looks like I'll be going to Eddie confidently from now on. Freddy is my barber. He gives a great cut every time. He always greets with a smile, the other guys in the shop are also very friendly. I appreciate the cleanliness of the shop and also really appreciate the way Freddy is always on time. I had a previous barber who was continually late, causing my appointment to be late. It's not that I am so important but I set my calendar for a day with other appointments - you get the idea. They have great products for sale but zero pressure. This was my first visit to the Real Barbershop. I called earlier in the day and they set me up for 5pm with Eddie for a regular cut. When I arrived there was no wait and Eddie called me back right at 5pm. I explained in detail what I wanted (#2 natural taper, trimmed and thinned out at the top (short while still keeping ability to comb where I have it parted) and straight sideburns. Eddie understood completely and I could tell we were both on the same page. He did not rush and did a very meticulous job. Halfway into the 30 minute haircut without even looking at the mirror I could already tell it was going to be great. The price was $35 + tip and is well worth it for the quality and skill that Eddie brings. I have lived in Henderson for 22 years and he is the best barber in the area that I have had. I have 3 boys, so a good barber is a MUST. Moved from HI to LV about a year and a half ago, and they've been through so many horrible cuts. The two older ones are teenagers so they blame me. :-( Lol. Not so long ago passed by this place, and thought ok, next time the boys need cuts we will try here. I'm so glad I spotted this place, as this place reminds me so much of where they used to get their cuts back home. The barbers here are friendly, and social. They really take their time. Their line ups are 100% defined, and clean! My oldest was so happy with his new cut, as he was complimented by multiple strangers later that day. It made him feel "REAL." Lol! The barbershop itself is clean. The waiting room is kinda small, with not too many chairs available. As we were close to leaving, the waiting room was packed. I read signs that they now take appointments. So if you don't like to wait, schedule an appointment for sure. As far as price, it's pricier. But you know that saying; "you get what you pay for." It's SO TRUE. And for a couple bucks more, what you get here is WORTH IT! Location isn't in such a busy area, so parking shouldn't be a problem. Overall, loved our experience. A year and a half later, (hella long) I can finally say I've found a barbershop for my boys. NO more mean mugging Mommy. :-) Lol! read more

The shop was easy to find. It was also really clean and modern inside. My appointment was with Alfred. There was a minor hiccup with the appointment I booked, but I was still able to be seated. Alfred was very patient with me when I described the type of cut I was looking for, and it came out exactly as I wanted. Overall, I highly recommend The Real Barbershop and Alfred for a cut, but I'm sure you won't go wrong with the other guys too. read more

These guys are great. If you want that classic barbershop dialog on top of a styling haircut, this is the place to go. Buncha guys that always make you feel like you're in good company. David has been cutting my hair for years now and always goes the extra mile to make sure I'm happy with what I want, even if I don't know what I want at times. And these are all actually licensed barbers, not just cosmetologists--they whip out the razor for that final touch up on the borders and sculpt your eyebrows if you want that. I'm not a fan of this barber shop. Our son has gone there twice and the haircuts are just okay. I'd be fine if it was $12. But it's not. It's $30, and we paid the same at Elliot and Company for a cut/fade that was 10 times better and they actually took their time and did a great job. The fades my son gets here are not even, clean or blended well at all. And this was from 2 different guys. Some of the guys look like they just rolled out of bed. The cut seems like something you'd get in your homies garage- that would probably be better actually. Maybe there are some good barbers here, but we have not had one yet. It's been challenging finding a decent barber who is consistent. David was referred to me by my cousin who takes her son here. I finally asked my cousin for her barbers info and she made and appt for my son on their app. We were happy. David took his time and made sure my son't cut was throughly blended and I appreciate that so much. The staff seemed pretty professional, and the place seemed clean. I was a little shocked they dont take card, but I think they rent chairs and everyone is on their own so it makes sense. We ended up using apple pay. David was happy and so were we. Finally, a barbershop close to home where all of its barbers are skilled. They pay attention to detail and do not rush their cuts. Everyone is nice and personable (not those overly macho testosterone filled barbershops). I usually get different types of fades, tapers, etc. and I can easily just show them a picture of what I want and they're able to replicate it and make it even better! I get my cuts from Freddy or Andy but they're all great (as you can see from the other Yelp posts of the diverse names mentioned) Check this place out. Andy Rodriguez throws down! I had been mistakenly going to Super Cuts down the street. Finally one night coming home from the gym I saw the sign for The Real Barbershop and kept thinking I needed to check it out. The day finally came when I was looking quite shaggy and went to The Real Barbershop. Andy is was very friendly and did an excellent job making sure that my hair looked good. He used a straight razor behind my ears to make sure the hair wasn't touching my ears and lined everything up. Best haircut I've ever received. If you want your kid to have a haircut like this make sure to hit up this spot. I asked for this to be blended and the barber insisted that because of his hair type that it should be cut this way and just put some gel in it. So now when he doesn't have any gel in his hair I'm reminded of how many barbers out there don't really know how to cut hair. I should have just walked out of there and not pay for this horrific haircut. If it doesn't look good without product in it chances are it's not going to look that great with it.
