Took my son in for a high taper fade and the barber did an outstanding job. The cut was clean, sharp, and exactly what we asked for. Let me start off by saying We came to this shop and stopped going to cookie cutters because the amount of detail that was out into our son's cut . Then our sec visit was horrible . Story time ...... November 17th 2021 Wife calls shop to make appointment, She asks for a 5pm appointment for our 3 year old son . Guy who answers confirms for a 5pm appointment. We arrive at the shop a few minutes before 5 , We were breefly greeted at the door with a hello . Nothing more . No one ask of we had a appointment not a hello how are you how can we help you . None of that , you know the very basic customer service skills needed to run a successful business. We're sitting there for 30 min some others patrons come in and then they go before us that's when my wife and I speak up staying we have a 5pm appointment No one knows what we're talking about . And they don't seem to care either. Then one guy calls some guy we speak to him on the phone sorry I forget his name. Anyways this guy claims we had a 430pm appt he even repeats to confirm for 5pm with my wife so at this l point his talking out of his ass . Eventually the white guy with a red beard says he'll cut our son's hair . Our whole experience was ridiculous it was draining .and will never be back . Very disappointed. The first thing I am going to talk about is the mask mandate. Out of the 5 barbers working (actually cutting hair) only two were wearing masks. The others did not have a mask on once the entire time. I was just time to cut around the ear, then the other, allowing me to keep my mask on. It was obvious that the woman who cut my hair was primarily hired for walk-ins, as every man that was in the barber chair were still being serviced when she was done with my cut and beard trim. Despite having to sit through the constant nic's of her trimmer, my beard is completely uneven and my haircut is well under par. It seems you don't get the same treatment as the others that were in there unless you have an appointment with someone specifically. I was fine waiting if I needed to. Either that, it you have to be a friend through their network. I doubt it will be much of a concern for them as I was not even greeted when I came in and looked around staring for anyone to talk to. They barely looked at me and there was even one barber sitting in his chair apparently waiting for an appointment that hadn't shown up yet. Not even he had the decency to greet me and ask what service I was looking for. It was only until I stood there looking lost that finally the man that was dressed better than anyone in the shop, presumably the owner, merely nodded at me gesturing, "what's up", when I asked when the next availability was. Even looking past all of this, there was a young man that they referred to as, Mikey, who swept the hair from the floor and went outside to hold the shop sign for traffic, who was scoffed and laughed at because he couldn't spell a simple word while trying to change the music upon the owners request. This is my second visit to this location and I'm pretty sure I'll be a regular here. The only reason they got 4 stars is because the person answering the phone for appointments need a little training on phone etiquette. Lol. Tried calling this place before I headed over to make sure they do walk in and when I got there they seemed super inconvenienced that I was there. They did not answer the phone after letting it ring for a good minute or 2 finally after getting there and sitting down for a minute, somebody asked me if I had an appointment I said no do you take walkins? They talked back-and-forth to each other forna second and never even bothered to look at me and give me a response. So I said so, do you guys take walkins or not, nobody answered me.. The 2 guys ppoint at the girl and say she'll get you or something, Whatever plenty of other barbers around that wamt customers. They just opened so they only have two barbers so that's a small issue but id make the time of the day to schedule with them which I hate scheduling things or planning things out 30 bucks for the cut which was hard for the cheap person in me but I even gave tip so that means a lot .
