There are some odd things like jewelry they are selling. There are random rooms scattered as private office making it a bit confusing. Next to the cold indoor pool, there are also odd items. Positive side : You can't beat the day pass of $35 for saunas, cold pool, hot tub, steam room and showers. They have sofa, tables and chairs to relax in every corner They actually serve pretty delicious Korean food for a reasonable price. Portion is generous. They give you gown, towels and other items you need to shower and freshen up to step out. All you need is your swimsuit and personal items. Place is clean and quiet. Not a lot of people. The staff are seen but they won't approach you unless you go up to them to request things. So you get your peace & tranquility. Separate shoe locker and interior locker. Yes. The place is not fancy but just remember to get "fancy" it's usually in the 3 digits. You really can't expect to pay hamburger price and get steak. Until they have similar competitor who charges the same but gives you much more, I still feel it's worth it.

Shangri-La imposed arbitrary rules, demanded ID, and refused any solutions, even though we were legally in the right. To make it worse, Carrie was rude, offered zero empathy, and made no effort to help. When we spoke to the owner, we were mocked, cut off, and dismissed, with the owner even claiming to be a lawyer. This entire ordeal caused real emotional, mental, and physical stress. It's heartbreaking that such a large sum, meant to be a meaningful experience, is now unusable due to unjust treatment. I strongly urge them to be reasonable instead of such deviant beings.

I called ahead of time to ask a few questions - like what to wear (anything), could I go back to work afterwards (yes), etc. and then made my appointment. The place is beautiful inside. I filled out paperwork, took off my shoes and put on socks, and then was led into one of their salt rooms. There were four lounge chairs in there, peaceful music playing, and a light display on one wall. I sank in and relaxed with a blanket over me, and in no time at all I could tell I was breathing easier. They came and got me when my time was up, and gave me water to drink. The worker also told me that once I was out of the room, they use a UV light to sanitize everything. I just did a shortened session since I had to get to back to work, but I am definitely a Salt convert. I can tell that I am breathing easier, my sore throat is about 80% improved, and overall I just feel better.

The equipment is exactly the same and other Perspire locations. I tho this was a woman owned business but recently learn it is not. You have 40 minutes to combine your time in the shower or in the sauna. You get a private suite and some come with showers and others do not. Each sauna offers the chromotherapy lights and red light strip. You can add on services like halo therapy and have salt misted into your sauna. This location does not offer free Wi-Fi for their guests. There is a gas network that does say Perspire guest, but the front personnel said that was not for use. The sweets all come in three towels you get a foot mat a full-size towel and a hand towel along with a scented eucalyptus cooling towel after your session. They do provide streaming services on their TV so you can watch your favorite apps like Hulu Netflix, or YouTube.

After…read morepurchasing a workout band from the vending machine, I was accused of stealing and was asked to pull up my bank statements to prove I paid. Even after I showed proof and it was clear I did nothing wrong, no apology was ever given. And even embarrassed me in front of the whole studio. From that point on, the environment completely changed. I was no longer greeted when I came in, and the staff made me feel unwelcome. It got to the point where I felt like I had to come after hours just to avoid interactions, which is not how a paying member should ever feel. On top of that, the workout setup itself is extremely frustrating. You basically can't work out whenever you want because there's only a few classes every few hours, and only three people can sign up per room. Three people in such a tiny sauna is already pushing it, and most of the time classes are full, which makes it feel impossible to actually use the membership you're paying for. $60 for a base membership is ridiculous for what you get and not to mention you can not cancel for free. If you want out it's either $100 or u have to pay and continue for 2 months. It's also worth mentioning that there are overwhelmingly positive reviews because members receive a discount for leaving a good review. I no longer need a discount, so here is the honest truth: this place is not worth it. The workouts are very repetitive, the concept gets old quickly, and the company comes across as very money-hungry rather than focused on member experience. Between being falsely accused, the lack of accountability, the uncomfortable atmosphere, and the impractical class system, this feels more like a scam than a supportive fitness studio. I would not recommend Hotworx to anyone looking for flexibility, fairness, or a welcoming environment.
