It had the original cabinets from the 1970s. The shelves weren't even, and there was barely any counter space to work with. We knew we wanted to replace all the cabinets, get quartz counterop, and upgrade the layout to be more functional. We called another competitor first, and they quoted us that the bare minimum of what we were asking for would be over $45,000, which was more than twice our budget. When we met Bill, he wasn't pushy or salesy. We told him our budget and what we were looking for, and he was able to meet every expectation. It took about 8 weeks for our cabinets to come in/be made. Immediately after that, Joe and the crew came and completed our kitchen renovation within 2 weeks. My partner and I work from home, and the renovation did not disturb our workflow at all. We'll definitely be working with them again in the future when we update our bathrooms!

After finding a laminate match from Wilsonart, I discovered that finding a company to fabricate the counter was even harder. Enter Focal Pointe Design. Frank came out and gave us an estimate which was reasonable and got the job. It took a while but the countertop is in and beautiful. The installers were great and solved all issues perfectly. I find myself just going into the room to look at how great everything looks.

When we discussed my powder room remodel which is only a 7' x 7' space, he quoted me $25K. I just about died! 25K not including finishes? He said yes, no matter what size because that's how much his bathroom remodels start. The business relationship was already over, but his pricing for the pictures of the jobs he has done is insane. I went with Mutschler Kitchen and Bath instead, and was very happy!
