The place continually went downhill. My dad had a nice clothes, all brand new clothes and furniture and whenever we went there, he wasn't wearing his clothes. They disappeared, even though we had his name on everything his expensive shoes disappeared. It just was not run. Well there was a man that hit him in the eye with a cane. Several incidents happen so they don't supervise very well. The people there the caretakers probably do the best they can, but there's just not enough to make it safe. I would never put my relative here if you want my honest opinion it's not worth saving the money.

Had a meeting with them a few months ago and they promised to hold our room at current level without increase for one year. The following two months I was over billed again and had to fight for a credit. Finally received credit and got billed a couple days ago for December and over charged again! Looking to move my Mom to a new facility soon. They will over bill you every month if you're not watching the billings.

We decided to give this place a go and they were absolutely wonderful to my grandma!!! The house was clean, updated. My grandma had the master suite so she had her own bathroom and everything. The food they served always looked and smelled delicious. They keep the residents busy with low key activities and would regularly send us photos. We felt they truly cared about their residents. They called us whenever there was any change in her condition, or anything at all going on with her. We were, and still are, impressed with how very well they kept us informed, all along the way. There were just a couple of things that didn't work well for my sister, and once the staff was told, adjustments were made in her care, making my sister more comfortable, both emotionally and physically. Once, when my cousin was at the nurses station, discussing a change that needed to be made, a doctor interjected some unpleasant comments from the sidelines. It was an isolated, one time occurrence. His behavior was completely out of character to every other person we encountered there. The nurse still listened, and the appropriate changes were made, to assure that my sister got care that was best for her needs. She was well cared for and never afraid there. On her final day, they treated the family with kindness and respect, and showed genuine compassion and caring at her passing. That was a week ago, and in that time, they've reached out to her son, with sympathy and compassion. We are abundantly thankful that we chose their facility for her to spend her final four months. I thank her care staff for helping to make a very difficult time as easy as it could have been. She had her favorite staff members, who she would joke back and forth with. I won't mention any names, for fear I might leave someone out, but one of the favorites or not, they were all kind to her. I give them my heartfelt thanks. Knowing what we know now, if we were back at the beginning of this four months, we would again choose Diamond Ridge.
