There are a lot of hotels in London and in the Victoria area but after a lot of research we decided to stay at the Resident Victoria and it was one of the best decisions we made for our mum's bucket list vacation trip.
Let's start with the communication before the trip. - One word - Outstanding. Our group had three people, our mum, my brother, and I and we were stay in one room. We asked if we were going to be staying below ground and were told that we would be staying on the third floor.
The staff of Love, Bianca, Manuela, and Muhammad was superb. So kind, so friendly.
I was so touched by the welcome greeting card in our room. Each staff member had signed the card and drew a picture welcoming us to London for the first time. I've stayed all over the world, and never have I ever received a card personally signed by all the team members.
The room - large enough for three. There's a fridge, microwave, coffee machine and sink. WoW. We were not expecting that and it all came in handy during our stay.
We had no issues with the outlets, lights, or electrical items. The beds were cozy and we had ample space for our luggage. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic
The Resident Victoria is minutes from Buckingham Palace and the Mews but also near the Victoria Tube station as well as Marks & Spencer. Plenty of restaurants and pubs. Pilgrim Pizza and Bag of Nails are close by but there are plenty of options for everyone.
We can't thank the staff for being the kindest and friendliest staff we've encountered ever as they went over and beyond with every request we had.
I'm looking forward to coming back to London with my wife and I will only be staying at the The Resident Victoria. read more
