I enjoy going to game shops with variations of games that span across all generations and not just current gen like Gamestop. I just came in for a few games after trading in a couple of old games and the transaction was pretty smooth. I might come back around here since there are a few other games here that caught my eye.

Selection (4/5): Tons of classic games especially in the Nintendo department. It brought a ton of…read morenostalgia especially for the Gameboy advance and SP which I had as a kid. Their selection is super impressive for all these classic games as it seemed like they had hundreds of games for classic systems. Service (3/5): No one really greeted us or were particularly friendly when we walked in. They gave us no issues though. The store's ambiance could be improved though because it seemed like boxes were just strewn in the back and the decorations weren't particularly enticing. Value (3/5): The retro games here are quite expensive! Some of the Gameboy advanced games are $60 and the machines were especially expensive. For example, the SP was almost $200. I guess it kind of makes sense since they aren't manufactured any more and it's in a premium location.

They no longer carry them, so after "Googling" it, I found East Coast. I was looking for a little extra pizazz to add to my son's birthday party "goodie bags" being that he invited his team to laser tag. I could be wrong, but it seems like card collecting has fallen by the wayside. So I figured, why not... Everything was right there for you to pick from. They have EVERYTHING, from current to old school. The guy there was extremely helpful and when he must've heard my son asking me about the packs of cards to put in his gift bags, the guy gave my son a little something extra for his birthday. (Was very nice of him and was a very nice gift). If you're like me and used to be in the card game, stop on in. Place is on point and who knows.... Hopefully my son will get interested in the hobby and it'll give me more of a reason to go back!

My 12 y.o. son is a huge Star Wars collector, and he discovered HH on Yelp about. year ago. We've gone maybe a dozen times now even though it's an hour round trip. We often find rare and impossible to get items here and if it's not on the shelves, it's probably in their basement, so just ask. We became friendly with Jordan and Val on our trips there, and Jordan has been especially gracious. He always has time to talk, answer questions, and be friendly. Even when we come to just window shop, we still have great talks. Recently my son was looking for an ARC-170 gunship, and Jordan and Val had just gotten one in that had missing parts, and they gave it to my son as a thank you for being a loyal customer. It made my son's month. The store is a block from the central shopping district, so when we go we get bagels or Korean chicken and make a day out of it, or go the few blocks to Trader Joes. I know a Trader Joes isn't a selling point for a store specifically, but as a parent of someone who loves shopping here it's nice to have a cute town that can be part of the experience.

Communicated with them multiple times through there IG since their phone line was not working. Promised "We'd call you when the item was delivered." Received no calls. Received an email on 9/4 stating my order was cancelled. They said "It was a mistake on Shopify's side, I'd receive my refund back in 7-10 days, and again, I'd be called when the order had arrived." Nothing. On 9/23, after waiting 7-8 weeks with no communication, reported the charge to my bank to get my money back. Would NEVER recommend shopping here.
