I attended my High School Reunion in March 2015. I purchased a Memory Book from The Reunion Committee (TRC) for $37.01. I was informed by Liz Perez in April of 2015 that due to lack of response in interest for the Memory Book, they will not be producing it and was offered a refund. To this day, I have yet to receive my refund (yes over 2.5 years later!). I have tried to follow up throughout the years on my refund and was given different excuses...the bookkeeper is currently out of the office, we'll get back to you (and they don't). When I tried to follow up in November 2016, I was informed that the check was mailed out in October 2016 (yet I never received it). In August 2017 they mailed me a scanned copy of the endorsed check yet I was not the person who endorsed the check (someone by the name of Elaine Hagel**** cashed the check). It is my belief that they mailed my check to the wrong address and Elaine inadvertently or intentionally cashed the check. Either or, the bank should have never let her cashed a check that was made payable to my name. TRC told me that in order for me to receive my refund, I would need to email them saying that I myself did not receive nor cash the check which I did the very same day (August 7, 2017). I even provided them my checking account number as well as my routing number so that they can directly deposit this money into my account instead of mailing out the check again just to prevent a similar mishap. In October 2017, I followed up to see what happened to my refund only to be asked "Did you see the attached copy of the endorsed check that was cashed?". It was as if our interaction/correspondence from August 2017 never transpired and we're back to square one again. I forwarded the email that was sent to them back in August 7 and received no response from them as of yet. I don't care that the check was cashed by someone else...that is not my problem. That's their problem which they need to take up with the bank. The bank should have never cashed a check made payable to a different name than that of the depositor. So 2.5 years later, I have still yet to receive the money that was due to me. I think I've been plenty patient. I've since filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. For those of you who intend to buy anything from this company...be informed...they're incredibly incompetent and unprofessional. read more

We just had our 50 year reunion last Saturday and it was wonderful. RCI did everything they promised to do without incident. They took all the financial risk to make our reunion happen. But, classes should be aware that it is a partnership between RCI and your classmates Committee. RCI has a "formula" for a successful reunion. If you wish to step out side of that, they will support you, but you must assume the risk for your decisions. For things like DJ vs Band, they know bands tend to be to loud and don't know all period music. Be aware, RCI has a lot of experience doing this. Horrible HORRIBLE service. Like the review below me; I tried to get a refund since I had a family emergency arise and they would not allow it. They have the worst customer service ever! They didn't even attempt to work with me or make me feel like I was valued. They simply kept stating the last day to request a refund... I already know the day; don't you think that if I had notice of an EMERGENCY that I wouldn't have requested a refund earlier?? They have a horrible website and horrible service. I can't stand them! The Reunion Committee is one of the most incompetent companies around today. They specialize in organizing and putting on high school class reunions and they do a terrible job. Their customer service is reprehensible. Not only are they incompetent, they are very rude. I tried to purchase tickets on the phone and they did not know what they were doing at all. They even charge more to process transactions with a credit card and tell you to pay with a check to avoid their additional credit card fees. Their prices are horrendous and very unreasonable. They also take way too long to do anything and when you ask them what's going on they don't have anything but unreasonable excuses. what I remember most about our 30 yr reunion from 10 yrs ago is the music was so loud I realy could talk to any of the people I came to see. Seems there's lots of other chances to dance with people you don't know or havn't seen for years and would like to catch up with. Recently I was at an event with a live band where the music was plenty loud, motivated everyone to dance but somehow I was able to talk and visit with the people I came with - it was outside but in a fairly compact venue, (i.e. you're fairly close to the stage even in the back) is there something about a an outside venue that makes it easier to talk an loud enough to motivate the crowd? Here's my big beef though: we're doing our own event this year, 40th and having a hard time locating everyone because it's after 40 yrs. Our organizers contacted this planner to get the list used at the 30 and they won't release it. So we're sorta sunk. Our people are stuck for finding our class. One caveat, From one of the reviews here it seems that part of their fee is for the task of finding our classmates. If that's the case and it's substantial I want to retract this complaint and ask our planners if we could pay for their list. read more

The Reunion Committee, Inc. (RCI) worked with me and the other members of our Classmate Organizers Committee (COC) to plan and execute a great 50th reunion for Francis Polytechnic High School of Sun Valley, California. I completely agree with a review by Brad O. in which he stressed that a successful reunion is a partnership between RCI and the COC. I can attest to the fact that RCI made the reunion much better, and that it took a lot of work off our shoulders. Furthermore, RCI made the reunion financially risk free to the COC, and this made it possible for me to recruit COC members and assure them of no financial risk. All I can say is kudos to RCI. Negative Stars!! Very disappointed in your Reunion Event Planning efforts for Redondo Union High Class of 1982 at Delzanos-By-The-Sea Restaurant on 8/4/12. Ticket prices at the door were $130.00!!! Which is WAY OVERPRICED - Where did the money go?? Banquet room was NOT decorated! There were hardly any decorations; table centerpieces consisted of 2-3 Gerbera Daisies in a vase with a few hershey's kisses thrown in the center of the table ($5). There was a NO HOST bar (not even one drink provided with dinner - $0/pp). The "Professional Photography Services" consisted of a girl with a digital Kodak camera ~ Really? That's the best you could do?? There were a few appetizers provided, but not enough ($7/pp). Dinner was a luke warm Buffet w/ 2 Entree Choices (priced at about $35/pp + tax + 20% gratuity = ~$45/pp.) Dessert was available as part of the Buffet, but again not enough for everyone. The DJ was okay, but obviously didn't do his homework and was unfamiliar with 80s tunes as he didn't know what to play, so kept reverting to pumping out Club Dance music ~ What the #@%$* dude?? Poorly prep'd DJ prolly cost about $500 for the evening?? So where did the rest of our money ~$2000.00 go TRC ?? When I called you told me it was spent on paying your employees to "find" classmates?? However, this seems silly because we (RUHS Class of 1982) have a FB page with most classmates listed with their contact information? I feel like we got RIPPED OFF!! Suggest you refund some of the monies you DIDN'T spend on our Reunion ~ that would be the RIGHT thing to do. I would NOT recommend you to anyone planning a school class reunion or other event. Continuing what Meaghan R. said (we were chair heads-please see her wise words), TRC is supposed to be in the business of uniting people. Their behavior is unprofessional and gives organizers no incentive to hire them for subsequent events. Their pricing tactics are questionable and could be construed as unethical. Our main contact at TRC at times became defensive when asked simple questions. She also became impatient when we asked for clarification on several details. Perhaps TRC is helpful to reunion groups that want an auto-pilot event with very little interaction between the organizing committee and TRC, but we were trying to create a special evening for our classmates who traveled far and wide, spending a lot of money to get there, and we feel like TRC didn't give us what we paid for. read more

The Reunion Committee helped plan the last three of our high school reunions. This was my first year being involved in the planning process, and The Reunion Committee made it very easy. All of the representatives in the office were very accommodating, from the office staff to the Facebook social media personnel. They were there to answer our questions, as well as contribute creative ideas throughout the process. On the negative side, their offices are only open until 4:00 p.m. from Monday - Thursday, and they are closed on Fridays. This makes it difficult for a Saturday night event. Additionally, in general, we did feel the price was expensive per ticket, but I do understand that is what is needed to cover a party of that magnitude, from venue, food, decorations, and DJ. At the party, Yael was attentive, energetic and on top of every detail all night long. I'm glad she and her assistant were there to check in on me and to make sure the night went off without a hitch! It was a nice evening and it was great to reminisce with my classmates. read more

My wife and I attended my 50th High School Reunion last Saturday. We were extremely disappointed. We paid a total of $155 per person...total $310. Even though we thought it was pricey, we were willing to pay it because we were told that this included a served sit down dinner, dancing, a DJ playing songs from our era, and tables made up with floral centerpieces...overall a first class celebration. When we arrived at the hotel, we were shocked to see that they booked a room that was too small to accommodate the number of tickets sold. They overbooked the room so not everyone had a place to sit. We were packed in like sardines and everyone was bumping into each other. If the fire department knew the amount of people in the room, they would have shut it down as it was a fire hazard. There were no floral arrangements and nothing to make it look festive. Consequently, we did not get the sit down dinner and instead they had a self-serve taco bar and dessert. The taco shells were the cheap hard shells you can buy at the local 99 cent store. There was a big bowl of processed cheese that no one ate. They had ground beef in one pan, something that looked like chicken in another and then quesadillas. The line to get to the buffet circled between the tables and chairs, making it uncomfortable and impossible to move. They ran out of food and desserts, so not everyone who paid for a meal got one. The party was supposed to last until midnight, but most people attending left early because it was too crowded and there was no dance floor (as promised). Some people went downstairs to the bar so they could breathe. The DJ played a few 60s songs and then ran out and started to play 80's music...Pat Benatar and Madonna...come on, Madonna...really??? It was an unsafe crowded environment, the food was horrible, and they reneged on the promise to provide us a memorable evening. How sad this event was. Someone made a lot of money at the expense of our class. The bottom line is...You only have one chance at a 50 year reunion. Make sure you use a company that takes pride and responsibility to ensure your evening becomes memorable for the right reasons!!! read more

I would give them NO STARS if that was an option. This company is a total crock! We had our 20th reunion in August and it was horrible. Tickets were $125 a piece and that only included a buffet dinner, not a single drink ticket, half-ass decorations and we didn't even have music. Someone played their free Pandora from their phone (with commercials)! Attendance was low and I'm positive it was because the tickets were so expensive. Do yourself a favor and plan your reunion on your own. Don't waste your money or the money of your classmates. Any of the positive reviews they have have are fake!! This is the third time that I've worked with The Reunion Committee to plan my high school class reunion. As always, everyone was very professional and accommodating. Do NOT plan your high school reunion with this company!!! They are mis-leading, unorganized, and disrespectful. Don't ever buy tickets or anything from them. If someone is planning your reunion through them, stop them now! Gosh, I wish Yelp had "negative" stars because they dont even deserve 1! The story- I bought 2 tix to my high school reunion, and 3 days later decided to cancel. Whats the big deal, right? How many things in life do you cancel or return and you end up getting a full refund? Not with Reunion Committee! After searching their entire site for a cancellation button and having no luck, I finally found the customer service email address. I emailed them and told them I wont be able to make it and need my tix refunded. No one ever responded. 2 days later, I finally reached the supervisor, DIana. She was horrifically rude and disrespectful. She said there is nothing she can do to help. I have never in my life had to beg a big company to refund my money if I return my purchase. I did not receive the tickets in hand, or any confirmation that I even purchased tix in the first place. their website is a disaster. Only 3 days had passed and I was simply asking for a cancellation. She had no remorse at all whatsoever and said that there will be a $65 charge for each ticket that I return. I searched their website and read that if you cancel your tickets before September 19, you will get refunded. It is August 15 and she was not letting me cancel. I told her I have extreme financial hardship and after going through my budget I found that I will not be able to afford my high school reunion. I asked her to be kind and work with me. She said again that its company policy. I asked her what the $65 is going for? Each ticket is $80, and I purchased 2 tikets. If they withhold $65 per ticket I will be paying $130 for absolutely nothing! I really wanted to know what the $130 would go towards because I cancelled so soon. Its not like they already cooked my food, or made my nametag or printed out my ticket, they produced nothing at all for me so there should be no reason for me to pay $130. I would basically be paying for air that I already breathe for free. I have purchased many things in my life and never dealt with a company who would not try to make amends with me. I simply want a full refund and I think that this company should respect that, especially since only 3 days have elapsed since I decided to cancel. They are very un-professional, have zero imagination when it comes to throwing the event, do not try to engage the audience, and they make NO attempt to find/track as many past students as possible. I am the reunion chair for our 50th reunion this past weekend, with about 95 people attending. This company rose to the challenge. I am so pleased with the responsiveness, attentiveness, and organization TRC exhibited for the last 18 months since we began this process. Smooth running and did what they advertised they would do. First of all, however, I had already spent 4 years researching our class's addresses for our 45th reunion, so they used MY list for their database. I can personally tell you that it would be nearly impossible for ANY company to research and locate correct addresses for classmates with a list from 10 or more years earlier in a short amount of time (less than a year). and If the list is 20+ years old, good luck with that. It is NOT TRC's fault if they can't find 400+/- people who have changed names, states or have died in a 6-12 month period with an antique list. That is expecting miracles. Completely unrealistic. Having had a horrible last experience with another company for our 45th, I was probably over the top about making sure things were getting done, and done the way I wanted, as we drew closer to the event. TRC communicated with me well, gave me assurances that were the truth, not just talk. Regular reminders about purchasing tickets and deadlines for pricing? Check.They initially offered to either start a Facebook group or be part of the one I had established in 2009 to contact classmates, but I declined and kept our classmates up to date. I have 190 on my class FB page. I would have taken them up on it otherwise. They suggested a great boutique hotel. The hotel delivered and then some. The photographer was great on the scene - very professional. (EDIT: Pics were on website in less than 5 days, great shots but EXPENSIVE!). For those who have only attended reunions, not run them, what happens at the hotel is the responsibility of the hotel, not the reunion company. If the food sucks, the service sucks, the rooms suck, it is the fault of the hotel, not TRC. Your own committee of classmates may have made poor decisions which affected the outcome of the reunion. A low turnout guarantees less from TRC - it is just a matter of economics. It is clearly stated in the contract YOUR committee signs with TRC. Any extra fees charged are clearly stated on their website. TRC contracts out for the DJs unless you hire your own. The company they contract out to, or companies, subcontract out to the DJs. TRC has no control over who is going to show up. I will tell you that our DJ was horrific; and so arrogant and self-serving that he was ultimately fired for how he behaved during and after our reunion. TRC had no control over that but I do blame them for hiring the DJ contractor, however. The TRC employees who arrived to handle the ticket processing were great - organized, and kept me apprised of all last minute arrivals, The TRC coordinator for the night, Vernon, was really there for me all night and that made a big difference in my level of confidence. It went very smoothly and thankfully he was able to corroborate my issues with the DJ. I was informed of the timing on the Memory Book after the reunion, which is 4-6 months from the reunion. I really appreciated knowing ahead of time how long it will take and why. I've notified my classmates and they are grateful for the head's up. I've also put out the info posted on TRC's web page about the items for sale and the Memory Book deadline for pics to be included, on our FB page. The negatives? One or two: The one-page tri-fold flyer for ticket information was something that an older person might not realize was actually THE INVITATION. I think that something sent in an envelope would be less likely to be pitched out inadvertently by older people. I think we might have had a better response to a more formal looking invitation sent in an envelope given the age of the collective group (late 60's). I know we lost a teacher (who is about 80) from being able to attend who appeared to have returned the flyer hardly filled out, not realizing it was the invitation, and ended up not coming because of that. The flimsy flyer also might explain why other people didn't respond, because I found out recently that some classmates claimed to have never received an invitation, even though I had their correct addresses. So perhaps the flyers were discarded with the junk mail in error? I recently gave TRC my suggestion to put the invites in well-marked envelope henceforth for older class reunions. All in all, however, a great job was done by TRC (so far, other than the utter disaster with the DJ and the flimsy ticket invitation). Compared to our 45th, this was a cakewalk. The final review will be after the Memory Book is received and the photos are posted, but I'm sure it will continue to be very positive. I don't regret using TRC and recommend them to anyone reading this. YOU WILL NOT FIND ANY OTHER COMPANY WHO WILL DO A BETTER A JOB THAN TRC. read more

Hired the reunion committee to do my 50 year reunion at van nuys high school. This reunion could not have turned out better, these people were true professionals from start to finish. I live close by and would stop in as the reunion was being planned and they were always glad to see me and answered any questions I had. Shelli who was my inside contact always greeted me with a smile and. Handled any questions that I had and Rick and his staff were at the reunion and made sure every thing went as planned, the disc jockey was great and to this day people are still contacting me telling me what a wonderful time they had. Our 50th High School Reunion of November 10th, 2018 was handled by the Reunion Committee of Newhall Calif. who provided us with information about the event that encouraged us to buy 2 tickets at $140 each. What a terribly planned and executed event we experienced!!! We were told it was at the "Newly remodeled Sportsman's Lodge in Studio City" we were told there would be an excellent buffet and two drinks per guest. A few weeks prior to the event we heard from other classmates that the event would be held in a tent in the garden area. I called the Reunion committee to find out about this and was told too many late comers caused the numbers to go beyond the room capacity planned, and a tent would be used and it would be enclosed and warm. There was not a tent, only a canopy and it was cold and the air was smoky from the fires that were 15 miles away. I quickly found out there was not two drinks included and paid $11 for a glass of wine and a soda! The food was overcooked, bland and very cold as the buffet line was outside of the canopy and not near any heat source. After the event I spoke with the Sportsman's lodge and they informed me that they recommended a tent...but the reunion committee did not want to pay for anything more than a canopy. I complained in an email to the Reunion Committee on November 16th who finally responded on November 21st t that their offices were closed for Thanksgiving and I would hear from someone next week. Well it is now the end of next week and no response. The Reunion Committee did a "bait and switch on us" we over paid and they greatly under produced. A class mate told me they spoke with the Reunion Committee whose response to the complaint was "everyone there was happy and enjoyed what we provided and we have many photos to prove that." I told the Reunion Committee that people were smiling in the photos because of who they were with in the photo not because of the event. I have spoken with several classmates all of whom feel ripped off. Avoid the Reunion Committee as they are not honest and judging from their poor Yelp score and negative comments on their own website they have no integrity in how they run their business. Organizing a 40th high school reunion with a graduating class of 600 is a daunting task, hence we engaged the services of The Reunion Committee (TRC), who by the way, was the facilitator for all of our prior reunions. We were convinced that we needed their expertise in locating missing classmates, despite the advent of social media. The last contact that I personally had with TRC was for the 10th reunion, i.e. 30 years ago. Since then, Facebook and computer technology has soared in our lives, changing the way we live and communicate. My expectations of TRC were that of similar technology-based companies. Sadly, both myself and my co-chairman were disappointed on several levels. Beginning with the contract, which is a "boiler-plate" document and not customized to individual groups, depending on needs and conditions, the following items were glaring issues: - The contract only mentioned the cost of a ticket and the step up in price, as the date of the event drew near. It conveniently omitted a $7.50 "processing fee" when a ticket is ordered online with a credit card. This represents double the standard 3% bank credit card fees, charged to vendors. We found this not only unethical to collect twice their cost of bank processing fees, but duplicit, in not disclosing the fee in the contract. - The contract is sent via email, requires printing, signing, scanning and emailing back. We live in the age of DocuSign, which is infinitely more efficient, but not utilized by TRC. - The contract omits maximum seating before Fire Marshall limits are reached, which I'm positive we exceeded, as our reunion was quite packed. - In trying to customize the contract to our needs, TRC was not willing to make compromises or changes. Other items of note: - The website is archaic and requires the user to log on and "agree to terms of use" every time, nor is it capable of identifying contracted users/organizers. Every log-on requires nearly 2 minutes of painstaking steps just to get to our reunion, only to discover that we could not view the number of tickets sold, nor classmates who had purchased a ticket. Rather we had to wait for TRC to send a monthly email report with ticket sales information. - A high percentage of classmates had problems registering, requiring a call to TRC to correct the problem. - We signed up for the "eco or green" reunion package, but TRC still sent out postcards via 'snailmail' to sometimes old addresses. We found that pointless and not so "green". - TRC does not conduct any sleuthing to locate classmates, that task is left to the school committee organizers. - We had to give TRC a copy of our Senior Yearbook, even though they had been given a copy 10 years prior for the 30th. They said they "dump" the database after an event. What??!!! - The photographer (hired and organized by TRC) wanted to set up lighting and camera equipment in a very small room where the DJ and dining tables were set up, also interfering with a slide show the alumni organized. I found alternative space, which worked out amazingly well. TRC did not plan in advance the best site for the photographer and caused an unnecessary distraction an hour before the event. - A classmate who purchased a ticket became ill the morning of the reunion and wanted to give her friend the ticket. TRC said that last minute transfers were not allowed. They allowed it after my co-chairman reacted appropriately to a completely unreasonable tactic to make a few dollars. - The price quoted of $125/person included a DJ and very simple flowers on the tables. Most tickets were sold at the $135 and $145 price. After discussing pricing with the event coordinator, had we not used TRC, we would have paid $60/person and provided our own music and flowers. The $65-85 differential applied to 121 attendees amounts to nearly $8,000-10,000 that we felt didn't justify the amount of work they put into the reunion (sending out postcards, making name badges, staffing the night with 3 people to sign in alumni, a DJ, photographer and 9 mason jars with sunflowers.) Considering the large profit margin, TRC should be absorbing the credit card processing fees, which amounted to less than $500. - The pricing for memory albums and photo CD's of candid photos is crazy. Printing costs for an album might justify a $50 price tag, but a CD costs a few dollars, not $42. The photographer has already been paid by TRC, so why skim more money from people who struggled to afford a weekend to rejoin their classmates? - TRC is closed on Fridays, which makes it difficult to reach them for last minute issues prior to a Saturday event. - TRC arrives at 4:45 pm the day of the event, which is too late to address last minute seating changes due to increase in ticket sales. I met with the hotel event coordinator at noon adding tables and rearranging the set up. Refer to Co-Chairman, Robin's review/comments for our summary. Another classmate and I started looking for venues for our upcoming 50th high school reunion. It was a daunting process. Everything was so expensive, and they wanted large deposits up front. In desperation, I googled "ideas for 50th reunion." The Reunion Committee came up. I had no idea such services existed! Hiring them made all the difference. They came up with a great venue (The Marina City Club) at a reasonable price. They handled all the money. We didn't have to front a penny. They had sophisticated programs to track down classmates. We still had our own reunion committee, but freed from the financial aspects, we could focus on the program planning. (Note: it turns out that a "program" wasn't really needed. After 50 years, everyone just wanted to talk to each other.) I was constantly calling Shelli with a million questions, and she tirelessly answered each one. Organizing the reunion was a lot of hard work; without the reunion committee, it would have been near impossible. The only glitch at the reunion was over the keychains with the photos they took of us. We didn't know about them in advance, and people thought they were free. They were kind of shocked when they were charged for them. It would have been a nice keepsake. Other than that, they did a superb job and I highly recommend them. read more

As a member of a reunion planning team, I was extremely disappointed in the Reunion Committee. They were inflexible, had to have everything done to their plan template not caring about the customer or their desires. Creativity was lacking as there was none. I have planned events for 30+ years and would not be in business today if I treated my customers like they do. I think they are fine to use for developing/enhancing your database of students you are attempting to find, but that is it. read more

We utilized The Reunion Committee for our class reunion and they are so great! They always answered all of our questions and always made us feel important! From Liz, Shelli, Katie to Yahl everything was perfect. They are so professional and the night of our Reunion they were in place on time with amazing photographers ready to go. Anything I asked they accommodated! Everyone is still talking about the best reunion so far for our class! I highly recommend utilizing this special company for your event or Class Reunion. Very poorly planned event. WAY TOO MUCH money for what you get. They offer several "packages" for attendees, all crap. Terrible website. At all costs find somebody else to do your reunion. read more

Beyond being Totally incompetent, disorganized and outrageously overpriced for food and venue, this group does not share a list of attendees as they claim so you have no idea who is coming. I had a wonderful time at our reunion, and everyone I spoke to did, also. The Reunion Committee did everything they promised. The venue was excellent, the food was good, the DJ was perfect and everything went smoothly. As part of the classmate reunion team, I know that our efforts made a difference in the success, but the company made it possible to have a great reunion without an alumni bank account, without expenses for mailings, deposits, negotiations with the venue, the photographer and the DJ, doing a lot of research, and taking care of check-ins and (very important!) photo name tags the night of the event. The best thing was that we reconnected with friends and celebrated. Big events are expensive and time consuming and I'm so glad we had this company to make ours happen. read more

Agoura High School, class of 1987 just had their 30 year reunion. The Reunion Committee did an excellent job. Customer service was amazing and TRC was involved every step of the way to make sure our reunion was successful. The venue, the Palm Garden Hotel, was perfect - indoor/outdoor with a nice, relaxing, fun environment. I think everyone who attended really enjoyed themselves and had a great time sharing memories, catching up, and reconnecting with old friends. As co-chair of the 50th reunion for the class of 1963 from U. S. Grant High School in Van Nuys I am pleased to write this review. As a business owner all of my adult life I am happy to write that from top to bottom this company is driven to provide the best possible reunion. When ever we called or wrote to them they were quick to answer all of our questions no matter how silly some of them may have been. The night of the event they were there early making sure the set up went as planned. The greeters, photographer & DJ were excellent. really great company!!!! ******they did an outstanding job ****** for our 40th reunion of the class of 1973 university high school. i sincerely recommend http://www.reunioncommit... to everyone. really you can ignore the other yelp complainers who only had refund problems because they did not read the payment contract and refund policies that are very clear on terms, dates and specifics. we had hundreds of people who all had a blast. the venue was great (marina city club), food was delicious, research to find folks outstanding, communication about all aspects to small details on badges all worked out fantastically by the reunion committee. very helpful folks who who run a top notch business. i had direct communication with the dj, assistance from the reunion committee over time finding folks over time, and a clear contract that was negotiable (no vanilla contract - with no changes possible - like the other big muli-state reunion companies). we could tailor our party our way, no standard anything, we were allowed to be participants in choosing things the way we wanted, unlike other reunion companies who only do it one way once you sign with them. really nice folks to work with, never a problem reaching someone and helped all the way through the process. we are getting great reviews from all that attended and now folks who could not attend due to scheduling conflicts are seeing comments on Facebook and pictures that make them sorry they could not attend. thanks you to all the great folks at the reunion committee, Denise, Shelly, Katie, Rick Diane, Luigi who all communicated with me directly on all aspects of the event and held my hand and gave great advise and help throughout the planning process. i interviewed all the competitor reunion companies and this company actually found me and our last reunion committee for business...that is how good they do research! i speak for all the hundreds of classmates at our reunion and deeply thank the reunion committee for all their great work...our reunion party could not have been planned better!!! read more

I paid $80 for a memory album of my 30 year reunion, only to find out in an e-mail from the reunion committee that there were not enough orders for the reunion yearbook so I had a choice of a refund or for a CD copy of photos taken. I chose to just get my money back and refunded. That was November the 20th, and now it's Dec 18 and still no money back. I called them to ask where my refund Is and they stated that I had to wait for their accountant to refund my money. Then I asked if the accountant had already been there for December , to which they replied yes. So in November , I asked for my money back, the accountant came in December , but somehow my refund never got processed . So now I have to wait till the accountant comes back in January . Not cool, you guys got your money paid in full and on time when I had to pay a fortune for your empty promises, and now I have to wait for my refund for two months total. And someone from your committee also took home loads of food from my reunion in take out cartons to feed her family at home, I spent $150 for a meal that was okay , but I felt that my money was spent to feed an employee of the reunion committee and her family. Maybe the committee doesn't pay their employees enough and obviously they don't honor refunds to paying customers like myself. Next time I will just meet everyone on the Facebook post at Brennan's and skip this Reunion Committee , I can't imagine this business model going on for much longer. I am one really dissatisfied customer and if you are planning to use this committee for your reunion, please be warned they are a rip off. Just use Facebook . read more

They really are a minus 1 star, horrible customer service, won't help in any manner. Just a total rip off. Purchased tickets for my reunion, a week before family emergency and could not make it, policy was no refund that I understand. Asked if I could donate my tickets to a fellow alumni who was on disability, their policy stated non-transferable but received a call from Diane from the committee who stated they would make an exception. My understanding was that the classmate would pick up the tickets in my name. Diane said that was between us. When the classmate went to get her tickets, the Reunion Committee would not give her the tickets and made her pay. Since she was there already, people lent her money to make up to buy the ticket. I called the committee but they said we can't do anything about that,. Like if they were out any money, they already had my plate and placed paid for. I am going to call the high schools from Southern California and tell them do not use this service their are others out there who will be more Customer Friendly. read more
