They surprised us with a bouquet roses in our room and strawberries, champagne and martinelli's sparkling cider on our anniversary night. I was also impressed with Sandi's willingness to accommodate my dietary restrictions. I am on a low-carb diet. Sandi made low-carb pancakes for me and made a fresh strawberry topping for them. The group had several people dancing and a lot just boping. We were advised that the same group will be at the Pine Meadows Country Club for the next three weeks on Saturdays from 6:00 - 9:00pm. Service: 2-stars - I booked a twilight tee time through GolfNow (GN) and the morning of, it was…read morecancelled. I was notified via email from GN that my cancellation request was being processed (which I never requested). So I contacted Rancho Manana's pro shop to ask what happened because I did not request to cancel my afternoon tee time. Then Tom at the pro shop told me he received a call from GN to cancel my tee time, allegedly. And of course, the tee time was booked up within an hour. So Tom tells me I can book for other open tee times instead. The resolution was for the customer to lose their original tee time, and then rebook a different tee time because the pro shop canceled my tee time erroneously. Ultimately had to book an earlier tee time and I requested for Tom to hook me up with a cheaper rate due to their mess-up. So Tom agreed and gave me a discounted greens fee. I suppose that was nice but it would have been better if he offered it in the beginning after acknowledging that he cancelled my tee time without verifying the caller who called in to cancel my tee time. Course: 4-stars - Challenging, fun tracks with decent greens. I'd say the only reason for the minus 1 star is due to the driving range being kind of small and cost of range balls - $10 for a small bag of balls? Come on - just feels like they're taking advantage of the players here. Overall: 3-stars - Had a great time with the boys and definitely would love to come back. Just sucked to have to deal with some BS the morning of my tee time. If I hadn't called GolfNow's customer service to clear things up and if Tom didn't make it right for his mistake, and me and the boys didn't have a great time, then this would be a 1-star review. But luckily, all the golfers in my group (6 players) were able to make it to an earlier tee time(s) and we worked it all out. So 3-stars for having a fun set of 18 holes.

I was just robbed at the Sedona Golf Resort, not by a random bandit but by the resort itself…read more Planned a golf trip here, staying at the resort only to find upon my arrival that the coutse has severe damage, including the greens that makes it almost unplayable. Have a 6:45am teetime, but can not use the practice facility to warm up because they won't be done mowing until after 7am. Inside the proshop asked about these and Kenny had about the worst attitude I've ever seen. Basically told me that if I don't like it, don't play. To make it "right" they give you a $20 credit, not apply to the cost of golf but towards a purchase. Bright side is that Scott was very helpful and engaging. Jeremy Hayman(GM), you have to do a much better job with course management, staff management, and customer service. I've essentially wasted a 3 day golf trip on a poorly maintain and managed course that's currently only slightly better than a muni course. My recommendation it to avoid Sedona Golf Resort until these issues are fixed, and instead play Oak Creek County Club, which is only a mile away and in amazing condition.
