Good food. Quick service. Fair prices. We had coffee on the table within a minute of being seated. Then they brought us a whole pot of coffee so we didn't need to wait for our server to get coffee refills. Love that a lot because this place is busy. I ordered the Minnesota River Skillet. It was very good. The hash browns were good and crispy. I took one star away because the gravy (served on the side) wasn't very flavorful. My husband had the skillet with French Toast. He liked it. He said he appreciated that the portions weren't overwhelming. He really liked the hash browns with cheese and onion. We would definitely come here again. read more

Super friendly staff great food fast service. we went and grabbed takeout called in the order and it was done right on time. The potatoes could've been a little more creamier and hot but again it was the end of their night so. Other than that, they have great options they have tons of fresh homemade pies. The apple pie is a hit. Again kudos to the staff they were super friendly, especially the younger gentleman that took the payment and gave me my food to check out. read more

Good food at a fair price. I had a big bowl of potato soup that was very good. The coffee is a little weak but not bad. The restaurant is clean with lots of seating and parking. The staff is very nice, maybe not super fast but nice. They have a large selection of fresh baked good. read more

I leave this place always with a To go package This is the place to stop at. It's right on 212 on the west side of town. I don't always read other peoples posts to decide why I do or do not choose a certain restaurant. I sit here and wonder how this restaurant only has three stars. I know they have their bad days I'm sure. This apparently was not one of them! They were not super busy of course, but our service was wonderful, our waitress was delightful, coffee was delicious, & breakfast was hot. Even the waiter who took our dirty dishes away was very friendly. I think you should keep on keeping on because you're doing a great job. ya can't please everybody. I'll be back. read more

We had breakfast for dinner and it was delicious! Hubby inhaled the chicken fried steak and I had a veggie omelette with rye bread toast. The bread must be brought in from a bakery because it was the best part of my meal. Oh, they give you little containers of peanut butter too!! read more

Now I am picky when it comes to pancakes and these are the absolute best I have ever had compared to probably the 20-30+ places I have had pancakes at, including homemade. the everything omelette is loaded with goodness and with a side of cheesy hashbrowns and onions, perfect breakfast. Their new jalepeno cheese curds were also da bomb time fabulous. Highly recommend. Other food is great too though I have not had their salads. Pasta is great, love their junk basket (especially with ranch), and many other meals. I have eaten here many times, satisfied every time. read more

When i Heard about it someone said it was like Perkins so i'm like okay i could go for some good breakfast. The Server was very nice and interacted with my children. When we got our food i would say it was not the best country fried steak i ever had it wasn't bad either though my only issue is when the canned processed gravy that a lot of places use these days just does not give the gravy that bite read more

The eggs Benedict was atrocious. The hollandaise sauce tasted like mayo and mustard mixed together. They didn't make me pay for it... so plus I got free hash browns? Even those were sub par.... do not recommend. read more

Stopped in for lunch and went with breakfast which is available anytime. It was very good and the staff was very friendly.

Tried The Rivers last night. Pretty disappointing. The pros: it was clean, easy to get a table, the broasted chicken was crispy and flavorful, and the service was great. Cons: the chicken was very greasy, they played muzak, and they served either unseasoned frozen vegetables or their approximation thereof as the vegetable side (this is a pet peeve - why pay for frozen vegs dumped out of a bag and nuked when I could easily make something 10 times more interesting in 3 minutes at home?). My sister and I had been traveling all day and we were looking for a sit down place to eat. We came across this place and we were not disappointed. I had the shrimp and cod basket and the sister had meatloaf. Both were very good. The servers were friendly and competent. Though we were traveling through if we were to come back by here we would definitely stop again. read more

My wife and I stopped there today at 1:30 pm. Our food was forgotten about for 40 to 45 minutes and we were told it wasn't cooked right so it's being redone. Instead of being a rush order then, it was put in the back of orders to be prepared. 15 minutes later we get to eat, finally and I finished my omelet and taters and it was'nt until I finished my meal that I informed the waitress that I never recieved my pancakes ( I ordered a grannys omelet). This is the most worthless place We've ever been to and I sure as heck won,t be back! read more

This is very similar to a Perkins restaurant...only with better coffee. Our meals were average: nothing fantastic, but not bad. Although my hamburger was overcooked, the bacon on it & my mother-in-law's BLT was above average. My husband's cod sandwich was good, as were the onion rings. The service was excellent, despite it being very busy with the after-church crowd. Prices were appropriate. read more
