We were celebrating my aunt's birthday and this was the place that all the locals head to for great food and service. We were not disappointed. It was raining cats and dogs that night but the staff took great care of us. The shrimp cocktail wasn't what we expected but it was fantastic. Everyone who ordered food was impressed with the quality and quantity of their meals - really good food and no one went home hungry. But it was the service that was the real star of the show. I saw this place featured on You Gotta Eat Here! and pass it every time I go north to our cottage. Stopped in for dinner with my girlfriend to finally try it. Decor was very old school and kitschy which was cool, but it's extremely dark in the restaurant, so ask for a flashlight (they'll kindly give you one). We ordered garlic bread to start, butter chick with naan, and the crispy beef (which was featured on the show). Everything was absolutely delicious and came out at the perfect time. Wow...what a meal. Stopped by with 3 hungry friends while riding. We sat in the outdoor patio overlooking the river. The food was amazing. We were four big eaters and we left stuffed. The portions are very large and the quality of food outstanding. The prices are very reasonable. I had the Club Sandwich which was the best I have had and was a struggle to finish. The waitress was very friendly and the place is clean. I would highly recommend it. read more

This restaurant is not that great. I tried going in multiple times and the place was dead but they wouldn't seat me because they said it was reserved. When I finally ate there, there was a dog hair in my food. It was disgusting. My partner had some nasty rubbery thing on her chicken wings which she didn't see until the end of the meal. Then to add icing on the cake, my fathers sandwich was burned on the bottom. The owners talked to me and were very nice. But I don't think I'll be trying this place again. read more
