Ambience: chic, charming, trendy music while also being relaxing!! Service: awesome, the gentleman Shawn was kind and soft spoken. Food: From a Vegetarian's POV 1) Avocado chaat: so creamy, tangy with lots of crunch. 2) Kadhai Paneer: so well flavored, I loved this sooo much but kids found it spicy; nothing a cool raita can't fix and that was the perfect accompaniment for this dish for kids. 3) Achari Paneer Kathi Roll: I loved this even more. Crunchy salad with soft flavorful paneer. I wish I hadn't eaten for a week, so I could try more food. 4) Crispy Cauliflower: sooo crunchy and sauce is spicy, but love it! Love this place.

This place serves Indian street food, which I thought was interesting to try. I tried the Malai Chicken Kathi Roll and Dal Makhani. The Malai Chicken Kathi Roll was like a chicken burrito. It tasted all right, but I thought it had too much sauce (1 star off). I was expecting just the cashew cream described in the menu, but there were couple other sauces in there. It was almost like a wet burrito. The Dal Makhani was all right as well. The spices tasted smoked or bitter (1 star off), so I was not a fan. The garlic naan was my favorite. It had lots of butter, which amplified the aroma. I could easily have a second serving of the garlic naan.

A solid choice for food in Canmore especially after a whole day hiking in banff! The chole kulcha was spiced well and there was potato inside the kulcha too which was a nice touch. It is also huge so definitely can be shared with something else as well. The paneer Kathi roll was also packing with flavors from all the sauces and chutneys they put inside. The sizes of the dishes here are really big and filling so be aware when ordering, thanks to the server who led us down the right path when ordering the food. Inside it is so well decorated with an emerald green vibe throughout the restaurant and flowers everywhere.

We had a party of 2 adults and a toddler on Friday, 9/20/24. We went early, around 5 pm, so there was no wait. They have a high chair! Plenty of parking. The inside is gorgeous. Service was amazing! They even gave us a toy car (like Hot Wheels) for our toddler! We split 1 quick bite and 2 entrees, plus an order of naan. All prices are Canadian dollars. Here's what we got: - Hass Avocado Chaat ($13.85): Good! It was cold, which I wasn't expecting, but we really liked it! - Butter Paneer Bowl ($20.50): Beautiful presentation! Pretty good. - Kadhai Paneer ($21.85): Tasty, had a little kick to it. Family-friendly, good portions, reasonably priced, fabulous service, and great atmosphere! We recommend this restaurant!

Omg this was honestly one of the best meals I've had in a long time. As a vegetarian, I have dreams of the butter chicken my husband occasionally gets, I dip a little naan in the sauce and let me eyes roll back into my head in sheer bliss. The Roaring Rolls has BUTTER PANEER! And the sauce was spectacular. I got that, hubs got the butter chicken and we cleaned our plates and rolled ourselves right out of there. I wish I had room to try the saffron crème brûlée for dessert. So this place is totally unassuming on the outside, it's in a little plaza off the highway. But inside it was clearly designed to be instagram worthy. Rich greens and golds, silk flowers hanging from the ceiling, even a little wallpapered alcove with chairs for selfies. But the clientele on a Wednesday night seemed mostly oblivious to this. They were enjoying the plush banquettes, velvet chairs, beautiful stemware and friendly service. I wish we had time to eat here again. I'll be dreaming of it for a long time!

This is a must try if you're staying in Canmore or even passing by because the food is AMAZING! We ordered the garlic naan, tandoori chicken, dal makhani, eggplant, and fried fish. The Murgh Makhanwala was my favorite and I recommend it for everyone to try but everything we ordered was packed with flavor and really delicious. I have to mention the classy decor with the green velvet and gold accents which are my design dreams. This restaurant was designed with taste from wall to floor and it was just gorgeous. The owners were very nice and suggested places and activities for us to do. We had an overall wonderful experience here and I have no complaints!

Recommend the chicken 65! Not crazy spicy, but does have a kick.

Food was amazing, service was attentive and friendly! The restaurant is beautiful, such a fun experience all around.

Great Indian food with a modern twist. They combine French influences like fondue with traditional classics like dal makhani. The price is fair for the generous portion size. Wish they also had Limca so this could be 6 stars.

Were able to take large group reservation. Interior was beautiful and different for an Indian Restaurant. Food was amazing, a must try is the Palak Patta Chaat! Service was really good despite being completely full.

We ate here twice during our stay in Canmore because it was literally that amazing! The butter chicken gravy had such rich and well balanced flavors. The organic chicken was tender and moist. The garlic naan had layers and layers of goodness that was different than other naan textures I've had in the past. Do yourselves a favor and eat here! We will miss it once we leave.

The food, service and atmosphere were all absolutely amazing!! Our waitress was so sweet and helpful with picking out our dishes, you could tell how much she cares about her customers!! We tried the Chaat (not sure how to spell it, but it had crunchy spinach) small plate and it was incredible. It had so much flavor in it! The main dish we ordered was the Chicken Tikka Masala and it was delicious. It also had lots of flavor. We got side orders of the rice, garlic naan (so good!), and the pickled onions & chutney (so yummy!). For dessert we got the crème brûlée and it was to die for!!! My husband and I both 1000% recommend coming to eat here, you won't regret it!! The decor and atmosphere is beautiful too!!!

Wow, this is some of the best food I've eaten in a long time. Not overly spicy and overflowing with flavour! The Naan is to die for.

The melt stood out to us due to the coconutty flavor but I would order both again! There were plenty of seats available and service was quick. The restaurant itself has a lot of vibrant local jewelry and teas for sale as well! I would rather here again!

Breakfast/Lunch Stop Worth the Detour…read more I'm a pretty picky eater. Not because I want to be, but because I have to be. I try to eat vegetarian in the morning, and I'm allergic to wheat, which makes dining out a little more complicated than it should be. My boyfriend found this little café outside Banff, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the better food surprises of the trip. We both ordered the Pad Thai -- one loaded with extra protein, one without. I had low expectations. I've eaten enough Thai food to know that about 7 or 8 out of 10 places overcook the noodles. They become soft, mushy, and fall apart the moment you touch them. Not here. The noodles were cooked perfectly -- still chewy with a nice bite. The peanut sauce was another pleasant surprise. It wasn't overly sweet or heavy like many North American versions. The balance was just right. The spice level was mild, which I appreciated because the dish actually tasted like Pad Thai instead of being buried under a mountain of chili. The vegetables were generous, fresh, and plentiful. My boyfriend's chicken portion wasn't huge, but there was plenty of tofu, which made sense since the dish is originally designed as a vegetarian option. The chef seemed to add the chicken as an extra rather than making it the star of the plate. The portion looked manageable when it arrived. It was not. I couldn't finish mine, and my boyfriend had to rescue the remaining noodles. Pad Thai: 4/5 The Vegan Berry Scone was light, not greasy, and not overly sweet. The strawberries and blueberries added little bursts of tartness, and there was a nice oat flavor throughout. My only complaint? It might have been too healthy. A tiny bit more sweetness could have taken it from "good" to "wow." Vegan Berry Scone: 3/5 The Vegan Chocolate Cake was exactly what a chocolate lover would want. Rich dark chocolate flavor without being sugary or overwhelming. It was a little dense and heavy, but in a comforting way that made me keep reaching for another bite. If the cake itself were slightly more moist, it would be nearly perfect. That said, making something both vegan and gluten-free that tastes this good deserves credit. Vegan Chocolate Cake: 4/5 What really impressed me was the overall value. Since the café is outside the main Banff tourist zone, prices are much more reasonable, parking is easy, and they offer a surprisingly large selection of gluten-free and vegan options. For someone like me, who usually spends half the meal interrogating the menu, that alone is worth celebrating. Final Rating: 4/5 Good food, fair prices, easy parking, and plenty of options for people with dietary restrictions. I'd absolutely come back. In fact, if I'm passing through again, I probably won't bother looking for another place.
