I thought this review was going to be positive. After I purchased my home I found visible mold in the baseboard trim in my bathroom. I pulled it out and there was inactive mold all in the drywall and subfloor under the tile and I will now have to pay for mold remediation. This is a MASSIVE oversight and will cost me thousands which I could have maybe gotten from the previous owner as credit. 2 stars because Scott was very nice, easy to schedule, and the inspection review and report was clean to look at and easy to access online. He gave me some good information about my home copper pipes, that they are very valuable and not to let plumbers take them when they fixed a plumbing issue. He was up to date on codes and pointed out violations, and got me SOME credits from the seller... but honestly I'd go for someone who knows to look out for mold and water damage around toilets (an obvious place). read more

Inspection was done well and they scheduled us quickly. Even after we had a snafu on my part with scheduling. Everything was emailed same day and seemed thorough although to be honest the business I was looking at purchasing had so many issues I wasn't paying too much attention. The only complaint I have is when asked about pricing I was obviously told the best is the best and I should spend much more for the package. I just prefer the "here are our options, here's what you get" sales approach and on a previous home I purchase (same company I believe but Colorado Springs location?) I paid extra for mold and water detection and two months later when we ripped the kitchen out for new cabinets there was mold and an active slow leak in the wall. Neither was detected and looking at the mold it had been leaking for a very long time. So just be aware that those add-on services may not be 100%. read more

We are buying a new construction home. There are so many inspectors out there but what had me at hello was Jana. She is the voice you meet when calling. She was very accommodating and kind unlike the others that I contacted. Our inspection was with Tom. He is extremely knowledgable with a touch of humor. We learned a lot following him around. Updated. BEWARE!!!!! He makes things up as he goes. May be the reason for the 5 star rating is because I found out that he manages to get reviews removed based on the seller not being a direct customer. This inspector did an inspection on my home in Thornton, CO. He did enter my home and left his advertisements, flyers for recommended services, and coupons on my private property and made comments on my home in which some were just not true and no photos to show the most the damage claimed. My name and address are on the inspection documentation. This seems to be interaction, although it was not direct or paid for. My previous review that was removed shows he does not want to rectify the problem. He did not offer to make it right. He made accusations of the level of care for my home and accused me of amateur work, and hiring the wrong contractors, which he knows nothing about. If he wants to lie in his report and have inaccuracies, assumptions and exaggerations. I feel that I have the right to state my concerns about his misconceptions and inaccuracies. Is it only the buyers that can comment and review services?This has affected me negatively and a sale was lost on my beautiful home because of his inaccuracies. Major issues reported with no substantial proof that it exists not even any pictures to demonstrate the so called damage. He may tell you things that are his opinion, but not necessarily true. How could he put things in a report that is absolute falsehoods? It appears that he is not as knowledgeable as he perceives. *There was no negative drainage issues at the North elevation of my property, nor was there any water to move away from the foundation. No pictures to demonstrate this. The north elevation slopes down toward the street.as seen in the photo provided on the inspection report *He claims that a combustion air intake is not allowed in a bedroom. Turns out it is simply an air return vent. The HVAC system is in perfect working order and well within code. I have had a twenty plus year certified HVAC company confirm this. Dirty filter? It's a new filter, Installed it a couple weeks ago and have maintained it during my 12 years of ownership *There are absolutely no signs of "loose tiles, bad grout, soft walls, or mold" in any of the bathrooms or throughout the home. A certification for no mold in the home has been done. No moisture was detected as stated in the inspection. No photos included. *The light switch that he says was removed from the master bath, was actually the cover for the volume control for the prewired sound throughout the home. The light fixture above the tub had a bulb out. It is the same switch as the vanity. *The refrigerator is fully operational, he didn't bother to turn on the water for the fridge in order to operate correctly. *"Remarkable amount of ponding water? Day after a very wet heavy snowy, with the sun shining as stated, snow melting.The so called puddle was dry the very next day. Besides, the "ponding water" was far enough away from the structure and impossible to be a potential cause of any type of damage. Engineering report at time home was built says 5 feet from home structure. *The electrical NM wiring and conduit for the basement that was constructed in 2000 IS to code for this time frame. *The floors in the bathrooms are not "worn", they are ceramic tile in great condition. *ALL bathrooms need to be retiled? Untrue Two of those bathrooms have no tile for the enclosures. It is fiberglass enclosures. *If not all lights were tested, why did he say that some didn't work? *He states that the sink in the garage could freeze up. But failed to mention that the garage is insulated. *Yes, the dryer vent had issues/easy fix, The 4 prong cord to the dryer is in the storage room and the outlet is simple to change/simple fix. *One of the sump pump accesses is under the carpet. It has been like that for years. The other access is in the utility room. This is how the builder designed it. There is no problem with the sump pump it works properly. Maybe the contractors that put the vapor barrier recently forgot to plug it in. Its plugged in now! *He claims the main water valve has not been turned for a long time and can cause damage. Total assumption. *He claims missing hardware from vanity in basement bathroom. This is non-existent. The vanity consists of a mirror and light fixture, no hardware missing. *Repair and replacement for blinds? The blinds function fine and are all in working order and in descent shape. Hunter Douglas honeycomb cellular shades. New paint in and out, carpet, concrete all around, garage door opener, window wells, vapor barrier, garbage disposal. read more

Lee was great! He did a wonderfully thorough inspection, finding a number of issues that we were able to have the seller address before we bought the home, saving us a fair bit of money down the road, even though it was essentially new construction. Most importantly, Lee found an issue with carbon monoxide leaking from our furnace, and that is where he began going above and beyond: Lee agreed to stop by to re-check the furnace with his monitor once the issue was fixed. However, when he re-checked it, he determined that there was still an issue with the CO. The seller tried to say that it was normal, but Lee called his contacts to confirm that it was not, so the seller continued to work on the issue, and Lee was willing to come back AGAIN once we had been assured it was addressed. His final inspection showed that the seller had, in fact, fixed the issue, providing us with peace of mind. Would highly recommend P2P! read more

Absolutely amazing!!!! We went through a stressful time finding the right home for us in this market jumping from one house to another within a day. I had to cancel and then reschedule inspections back up the night before an early morning inspection multiple times. I would have hated me as a customer, lol.
