I submitted a request on Monday, Jon told me that they were booked but could arrange a drop off and asked for a good time to speak on the phone. We spoke on Tuesday, and although he could not offer what he originally mentioned (appetizers, buffet etc), I was thankful and more than happy to accept the grazing table option. He stated that he would send me an estimate Wednesday. I received an estimate on Wednesday at 10:20 pm, which I accepted. This morning (Thursday), Jon replied that he would confirm everything with his chef and send me an invoice later. At 8:20 pm this evening, I got an email saying that Food Addiction would not be able to accommodate my event. I completely understand the last minute nature of my request but this company should've either turned me down immediately, or at least communicated this earlier in the day (phone call would've been nice). All of the other businesses Jon suggested were already closed for the day. In our communications, Jon tells me that I'm the very first person that their company has cancelled on. With only 3 reviews, I find that very hard to believe. I recommend considering an established local company with better business practices and communication for your event and avoiding Food Addiction at all costs.

Unfortunately she had to move states in the middle of our interaction, but the handoff and transition to our second sales manager, Emily Malaya, was seamless and no information was dropped. Emily was just as wonderful, efficient both through email as well as in person. We completed working out all the details without issues and working with both Taylor and Emily was the most pleasant and least stressful experience of our wedding planning. When the first sales manager is excellent at her job, you wonder if she was just one-of-a-kind rock star. But when the second sales manager is equally as talented, you realize you're working with a great event planning company that knows how to hire and train. The day of the wedding has arrived and just when we thought Emily was incredibly valuable, she stepped it up a notch. From coordinating the procession to rounding up the wedding party to personally pinning on my boutonniere, she made sure every part of the ceremony was as flawless as possible, and any issues that popped up she handled it easily and calmly.
