Ari and I were in regular communication by phone, text, and email for the next few days. When he showed up in person at Housing Court on the day of the hearing, he immediately went to work, discussing with me the specific details of the case and how he planned to approach them at the hearing. The opposing counsel had arrived there a little early, so Ari then initiated a pre-hearing discussion with her to see if some kind of settlement could be worked out. As it turned out, the opposing counsel - who had an aggressive, in-your-face style - was less amenable to a settlement than she'd initially led us to believe. Nevertheless, Ari remained calm and respectful, continuing to negotiate with opposing counsel, but never caving in to her clients' effforts to withhold some of the repairs I was justly entitled to receive. In the end, a reasonable settlement was reached, and thanks to Ari's courteous but uncompromising approach, I will soon be receiving the repairs to my water-damaged apartment which I was initially denied for over two months. Ari is a patient, empathetic person and a remarkable attorney, with a friendly, knowledgeable, down-to-earth approach and the calm, unwavering tenacity necessary to negotiate a just and reasonable settlement for his client - even if opposing counsel turns out to be somewhat less than reasonable. I enthusiastically recommend Ari Mor, Esq. to anyone in need of a knowledgeable, experienced, and patient landlord-tenant attorney with great communication skills. Thank you Ari, you are awesome!

Alex gave me a call just a few hours later that evening, the office sent me an engagement letter the next day, I was going over my contract with Laura later that same week. Of course I reviewed the contracts myself, however I don't know what I don't know. On our phone appointment, Laura walked me through every paragraph to make sure I understood it all correctly and made sure to add in what I needed before sending a drafted revision. By the end, I was comfortable with what we drafted and I signed the contracts. I recently worked with her again, and the process was seamless. I had a very last minute opportunity and needed the contract reviewed quickly. I actually forgot to send her a copy of the contract ahead of time and sent it in minutes before our phone appointment. She was able to look it over anyway and we continued with our phone appointment as scheduled! We had our phone appointment on a Friday and she had the drafted revision back to me on Monday. I did not expect the turnaround to be so quick, but I am grateful that it was. The initial fee was $1200 I believe (I had 1 contract and a second smaller contract). It would've been a bit less if only had the one contract to go over. The second time I was given a discount as a returning client, around $800. Worth every penny in my opinion. All of my communication with Granovsky & Sundaresh has been pleasant and efficient. I'd absolutely recommend working with Laura. She's personable, friendly, and quick to respond.

Paul is an absolute gem of a lawyer. This was my first experience hiring and working with a lawyer,…read moreand I can't say enough good things about him and his work. He is extremely fair, honest, and professional which is a lot when compared to some other people in this field. I had reached out to many lawyers about my landlord issue, and I was dismissed. Paul listened to my case and the details I had, and was able to settle the case in my favor. He is VERY communicative, and quick to respond to any emails. I don't know how he does it! If you need a lawyer you can trust, go to Paul! I look forward to working with him again in the future.

UPDATE: this attorney emailed me multiple times to complain about this review, a responsiveness…read morenotably absent when he was being paid to represent me on an urgent matter. I offered to change the review if he could demonstrate that any aspect of it was not factually accurate. He responded only with petty attempts at insults. I am legally disabled and was forced out of my sublet when the primary tenants entered illegally and claimed to be my roommates on July 6. I was referred to this attorney through ARAG legal insurance. On July 9 at 1:41PM this lawyer informed me via email "The only choice you have is to start an emergency action for illegal access" and agreed to be paid by ARAG to file this on my behalf. He informed me that he would not be able to file until early the following week. That was the last time he took a call from me. That evening I tried to retrieve belongings and the primary tenant tried to have me arrested. I called my lawyer frantic. He never acknowledged the call. I did not receive a draft until July 15, It had multiple omissions including failing to include any exhibits. He told me to make suggested edits but did not provide a document in editable format. I finally generated a Word doc with my suggested edits and asked if any were relevant. His only response was to demand payment for the process server and filing fee without instructions on how to submit payment which I did not receive until July 17. He suggested that I simply enter the apartment to retrieve the belongings, ignoring 1. the police instruction not to try to enter without a police escort and 2. that I am disabled and cannot move belongings without assistance.I asked him what I needed to do to get him to file the document in Court - now 11 days after I was forced out - and he withdrew, telling me to file myself ignoring, again , I AM LEGALLY PHYSICALLY DISABLED and sent me his wholly inadequate OSC draft which did not even have the the defendant's name spelled correctly. He had the option to decline the job on July 9. Instead he strung me along, knowing that I did not have access to Rx medication and other disability aids, for over a week before abandoning my case. I am now locked out, without my medication and other belongings, and have no help with Court. Shameful, unethical, and just cruel conduct
