The main reason I'm Yelping is to say THANK YOU to the staff on duty Saturday, September 17 between 10-1130am. I could not get a Uber to pick me up to take me to the airport for a flight that was leaving that afternoon to take me back to New York. While I got an Uber to take me from the airport to the condominium, it was challenging to get a driver to take me back. Maybe because it was an hour away from the airport. Idk. But I made my desperation known to the staff. My family had already left, thinking, like me, I could easily get a Uber back to the airport, CHARLESTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. Initially, the staff couldn't help me. But I guess after seeing me pace back and forth, watching my phone for Uber to connect me to a driver, the staff said we got to help her. And the staff did. The staff gave me the name of a Uber driver, Debbie, who lived ' right down the road.' I couldn't believe it when the receptionist walked out of the sales office with that number in her hand. Apparently, Debbie is known to the manager who wasn't working that afternoon. But someone on the staff must have contacted the manager who gave the staff Debbie's number. I called Debbie. She answered and picked me up in ten minutes!!!! She had her Uber notification off until I called her!!! She said Uber is helping pay for her college degree. I was never so grateful to see a Uber driver. Debbie and I made it a half hour before the JetBlue flight boarded to NY!!!! I thank you CLUB WYNDHAM Lake Marion for not giving up, asking the right question to the right person. I thank you Debbie for answering your phone when you did!!!! Moral: Always be kind. When attending a show at the Fusion Theater, guests are welcomed with a smile. There are tables for you to sit at while attending a performance. you enjoy a snack from the concessions while watching or listening to Shortwave Kitsch (SWK), a 1940s podcast performed live accompanied with a piano, songs, and commercials. SWK is making waves on the shortwave radio frequency. The frequency modulation is enjoyed by an audience.

The first room they gave us was disgusting. The sofa and chair were stained beyond anything I would even have let my dog on. One chair has 2 big holes in the upholstery. The shower surround was coming off the wall and the toilet barely flushed. There was a huge stain on the sheet and a curly black hair on the stain. I refused to even sit down in the room. My husband went and asked if we could be moved to a different room luckily the complied. We got to the new room and while not great it was better and we ended up staying. The toilet in this room also didn't flush well. We were only there long enough to sleep on our way home from Florida, but I would not recommend this hotel at all.
