Super wonderful find. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. It is very reasonably priced. It looks brand new. The rooms are comfy. Shower rocks. There are menus out on a table which is so convenient even though the man at check was extremely informative and gave great directions. Roz was very helpful at breakfast. They even have a few gluten free bread options (blueberry muffin too). There are eggs and kielbasa (or bratwurst) and potatoes. Will mark this as it's right off 95 with several good restaurants and a couple ice cream places very close by. read more

Everything about this Fairfield Inn is what every hotel should strive for. From the time I made the reservation to the time I checked in and checked out, everything was perfectly on par. I am traveling on an extended roadtrip with my cats. Because they are spoiled, they require a lot of "stuff". I look for specific things in a hotel and found this hotel to exceed my expectations. Although my "asks" are simple, sometimes hotels fall short. Not here. While making my reservation I asked quite a few questions and whoever I spoke with was very patient and helpful. Upon driving onto the property, the place looked like it was on a very large piece of land...very spacious. When I checked in, Jean was very professional and nice. She gave me waters and cookies (why doesn't every place do this?) When I got to the room, the cats were super happy with the cleanliness of the room, the space, especially the large window they could sit in for the view of the trees in the back...they were not happy that the bed is on a platform and were not able to get underneath. But that made ME happy! Breakfast in the morning was plentiful. I had mini waffles that I made myself, I had some eggs and Canadian bacon. Like a real FULL breakfast. Not just one or the other... there were also juices, muffins, fruit! and bread choices from bagels to toast. And the coffee was decent. So many places just don't even get this right. I have stayed in more than my share of hotels for business so I don't say this lightly. Wow, did not expect too much since this is one of the less fancy Marriott hotel chain offerings. But it was great! The parking lot was large, lobby clean and modern. Rooms spotless and also modern. Dining area was up to date and very well maintained. But all of this was eclipsed by the staff. Super professional and friendly. Highly impressed. Would definitely stay here again. read more

We liked it so much that we stayed here, again, on our way back home. There was an issue with the heater/ac unit, but they wouldn't know until someone told them. (It was really loud. They appreciated us telling them the next morning.) We had the same room and the conditioner was still out so it makes me think there's something wrong with the pump. They gave me a small bottle of conditioner. They go above and beyond for your pets. We received a couple chocolate chip cookies and bottles of water like we received the first time. This time, we also received a pet tag for the door and a cute bag with a couple dog cookies and a poop bag. See pic. I did not receive that on the first stay. Don't know why. It could be a new amenity. BTW, the breakfast is really good. My husband said the omelettes are much better than expected and very tasty along with the fresh danish. I also forgot to previously mention that there is an IGA next door along with plenty of places to eat and gas stations. Plus, it's under a mile from the entrance to 95. Another important point, their breakfast is 6-10 every day. Time does not change on the weekends. That's huge for early risers wanting to get back on the road. read more

Very nice, comfortable updated property. We were greeted with cookies and waters for all in our party upon check in. The room was spacious and very comfortable. While the included breakfast was just meh, I was very pleased that they had gluten free muffins for my celiac daughter. read more

This is one of the nicest road-side hotels we've stayed in! The venue is beautiful; rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable. And the best part is the friendly, cordial staff - both the front desk staff welcoming us with bottled water and cookies, to the full continental breakfast staff in the morning. The people attending the breakfast were so nice; asked repeatedly if there was anything else they could get for us. The food selections were better than any other continental breakfast we've experienced in other hotels, and breakfast is included in the price. We will definitely make this our preferred stop when traveling through South Carolina. read more

We stayed overnight, as we were passing through. I had looked at the reviews before choosing a hotel. This was a top notch find, immaculate in all areas! The breakfast/coffee area was well kept up, to every detail, including individuality wrapped cups, fruit, etc. The lady working that morning went out of her way to accommodate us. Easy to use reservation system on line. Text message when our room was ready. Courteous front desk check in. Clean, updated, modern room with many amenities from microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Most important we had a comfortable bed. Lots of free streaming channels, but internet went down in the whole place so I didn't get to watch much of my show. Disappointing and when I mentioned it to front desk no apology and no reduction in our bill was offered. (-1star) Breakfast bar was amazing. Fresh fruit, waffles, eggs, omelettes, sausage, grits, oatmeal, bagels, muffins, milk, coffee, yogurt, juices, cereal, even sugar free syrup among other toppings. Plus a clean roomy dining space with lots of light from a wall of windows., We did not use, but the gas fire pit outside looked like a great space too. read more

Genuinely the nicest Fairfield inn I've ever stayed at. Service was friendly, the toiletries were higher quality than the recent other Fairfield Properties I have stayed at (aren't they all the same?), the breakfast was well stocked with various oatmeal's, toppings, plenty of waffle makers, various bagels (poppyseed, sesame, plain), with plenty of seating, and the room was large. The air conditioning could go as low as 64 degrees Fahrenheit, The bathroom was enormous, clean, and hot water came on immediately and could get very hot if you so choose. When traveling from Maryland to Florida this is a good overnight spot for us as I tend to lose interest after driving for about 8 hours. Last time in this town I opted for the Hilton Hampton inn, which was very disappointing due to ongoing renovation. Having read the Yelp reviews about this brand new Fairfield by Marriott we decided to give it a try and we're not disappointed. It is clean, bright and new and feels very safe. Front desk staff was very friendly and informative. They have a hot breakfast service in the morning. This hotel is convenient to the interstate, lots of restaurants and is next door to an IGA supermarket. One detractor was the 4am fire alarm. I've never had that happen at a hotel before. They have a hot breakfast but you don't serve yourself. The ladies working the food area are trying hard but it's kind of chaotic. The manageri needs to do some six sigma. read more

Let me start by saying that this is a really nice hotel! It is clean and inviting and well maintained. The staff are friendly and very accommodating as well. We had no issues from checking in to checking out. My only complaints are the uncomfortable mattresses and the size of the pool. After driving 5 hours I looked forward to a quick nap before joining my family for some festivities only to wake from that nap with shoulder and hip pain. I thought maybe I just slept wrong but after 2 nights on this mattress both me and my husband had the same complaints. For almost $200 a night, please invest in some mattress toppers. Also, for a hotel this size the pool is the size of a kiddie pool at a local fun park. You can probably fit 6 adults in it but swimming is out. My suggestion is to just do away with the pool altogether if this is the best you have to offer. I've noticed this size pool in several Fairfield Inns. read more

Best hotel I have stayed in during a drive from NJ to FL. Entire building was exceptionally clean. Beds we're comfortable. Larger than most eating area. Breakfast was above your average roadside. Outdoor pool was small limited to 6 guests. It was a rainy day so made no difference to me. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Gave us 4 bottles of water when we usually only get 2. We were 3 adults 1 child. When checking out we were asked what could have made this stay better. Nothing. It was great! read more

This hotel was amazing they have been open for about 4 years and you would never know it. They are still doing some of the policy for Covid with sanitizing the remote and sanitize wipes in rooms. Josh was amazing at checkin was great cookies & bottle water and referred me to a great restaurant across the street had the menu at the hotel. The breakfast was wrapped so easy grab and go and Roz was amazing to help me find something I was looking for breakfast. I will be stoping here when I come back to Florida. Right off I-95. read more

Woohoo my Fairfield inn still going strong. The front staff is so super nice and cleaning crew as well :) This one gets a star knocked off because it had some gross febreeze or fake perfume or cleaner smell that was so artificial. I didn't change rooms so I don't know if it's like this in others. Hallways don't smell. It was clean and quiet as well. Fitness center was good but didn't have clean towels so I had to use my room towels. Breakfast was pretty good as well. Just a walk away is a Thai/Chinese place. Food was OK but service was so nice. read more

This hotel in Santee, SC was the best Marriott Fairfield Inn & Suites we have ever stayed at! It was clean, beds were so comfortable, rooms were modern, bathrooms upgraded, breakfast was great, the desk staff were very nice, they gave complimentary water bottles at check in, warm cookies in the evening and 24/7 complimentary coffee available in the lobby. The exercise room was great with complimentary ear buds for the treadmills. We loved our stay and look forward to staying here again one day! read more

We stay here on the average of once every 6 to 8 weeks. Every time we stay here it is a good experience except for tonight. Has anybody heard of the Barney Fife affect? Give someone a little authority and 99 out of 100 percent of the time they will misuse it. Literally in the last month we stayed here and they generously allowed me to toast a bagel after a long day on the road. Tonight I asked if I could use their toaster and they said absolutely not that only the ambassador of the kitchen could handle kitchen items. We are paying customers and all I wanted to do was toast my bagel. The inflexibility of the front desk was astounding. I am very hungry and disappointed. The cleanliness of the rooms is unassailable. Our room is ready. I just don't understand why using a toaster after 10:30 PM is forbidden. read more

This place is spotless and everything is brand new! They opened July 1st, 2019 and this is probably one of the cleanest and newest hotels I've stayed at. I was definitely pleasantly surprised. We only stayed here for a night but we had a really pleasant visit. The free breakfast was also pretty good with fresh fruit, juices and they even had soy milk. We arrive yesterday to sleep overnight and contuniune our drive to nyc. We arrive late atv11pm. The guy in front desk was super nice. They give us room very quickly. We where me my husband and 3 kids so we had one king bad and open sofa and another open bad. We didn't even need the extra bad. Room was very big and comfortable. In the morning we took brackfast u tell the lady what u want and she give u. Some waffles, bagels, eggs. Honestly I really like this hotel and in next trip will come again. Very nice. read more

Stopped on our way to FL . Great location...right off 95. I made the reservation(s) on line for my husband and myself and my sister. Wanting to ensure our rooms were close in proximity, I called and spoke to the front desk. The gentleman ( I can't for the life of me recall his name) was wonderful and assured me that the rooms would be nearby and that he would be working when we arrived. He remembered me once I said my name. We were given a bag with water bottles upon arrival...nice touch! The room itself was great....King bed, great bathroom (well thought out shower set up) Small but useful unit that held fridge, coffee maker and microwave. Same unit on the side had a spot for coats/bag and a small closet that held iron and ironing board. The breakfast buffet is now self serve.....individually wrapped bagels, english muffins and bread were available (saran wrap) fruit such as bananas, apples etc were also individually wrapped in saran wrap. Breakfast was pretty good. Kudos to the young lady working the breakfast, I drink decaf tea....asked if they had some since there wasn't any by the coffee/tea area. She did not think they did. Well a few minutes later she came over with a decaf tea! She went on a hunt for me! Definitely will stay here again on our trek from NY to FL. read more

We normally love Fairfield Inn because beds are so comfy. Not here...they are platform beds with Thin snd hard mattresses and the most uncomfortable pillows I've ever put my head on. Marriott please take a look at your franchisee and make sure they are up to your standards? read more

Not bad, just not great. Requested a first floor room because we were traveling with our dog. We don't want to inconvenience other guests because he's a big boy. Arrived and learned they messed up the reservation and we had a second floor room. With social distancing, other people were not thrilled with a big dog riding the elevator. Oh well better luck next time read more
