Rather, take a journey back in time in the vintage chairs, wide aisles, and carpeted walls. The restrooms are small but clean, and although dark and dated, the theatre is clean. Check Facebook or the marquis in the alley as you drive past for the weekly movie offering. We appreciate the local availability of a community movie theatre and not having to drive the 25 miles over the hill.

We looked for our seats and the last row was Row D, no rows E, F or G existed. We were sold tickets for seats that weren't even in the theater!! Fortunately the theater was not full so we sat in the second row--not ideal. Next, the lights came on in the theater before the movie was finished which made it hard to look at the screen, especially from the first couple of rows. It was very a very strange experience. I just left a message for "management" to report about it. I'm not confident I'll get a call or resolution. As a post script: the online ticket point of sale is in the UK.

What I love about the series is that, not only are you afforded the opportunity to see classic films on the big screen (in the case of ET? Nothing better than the bicycle scene on the big screen! Seriously!), but you also get to see that film in a theater full of people who love it as much as you do! People cheer the heroes, boo the villains, sometimes shout lines ("Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."), and the whole thing usually ends in applause. Grease even turned into a bit of a singalong (Look at me, I'm Sandra Dee...). Boise Classic Movies also arranges to bring in a bar during their films, so you can get a glass of wine or local craft beer (Payette Brewing's Mutton Buster Brown was on tap the last time I was there!). The Egyptians concessions are also open for the usual popcorn/candy/soda fare. They even gather nominations on their website if there's a classic film you're just dying to see on the big screen. Once they gather the nominations, you can go on their site and vote for your favorite. I'm looking forward to end of November/December as I understand they're primed to do a whole Christmas series of classic films!! Love it! Get to it!!

My husband and I both love and grew up watching Toy Story movies and were so excited to watch the new one with our kids. We had high hopes but it was apparent after the first 20 minutes we were not going to be able to stay. I tried walking with my baby but she began crying and I didn't want to be "those people" so we decided to leave. I was the one year olds first movie and only the second for my 2 year old. I thought it would be worth a shot to ask the manager if they offered any discount or something to try and come back and watch it again, with no real expectations of it being offered because I mean we knew the risk lol. But the manager was so kind and gave us free tickets to return! It was such a sweet and kind gesture and I really appreciated it. We will definitely be loyal customers to this theater from now on

So we were just floating. And then the individuals that came in and paid on site were also assigned seats, which the computer new my seat arrangement and chose to not accommodate for that. Overall a rocky start to our experience. The movie itself was great and the seats were nice aside from the creaking. The sound was also not properly calibrated for the previews and movie itself.
