This past Summer I went to this theater not once but TWICE! I say it like that bc in the time that it's been open...I had never gone. Always went to the village. Went to see Jurassic World and Superman here. Loved both movies. Love the theater. For some reason I thought it would be bigger tho..or at least the lobby. I know, random lol, but I was surprised to see how small the lobby area is compared to other theaters. The theater itself is kinda small. Still, a great place to see a movie. We went for the matinee for both...to avoid crowds. Thank God for that bc each time we were leaving, place was packed on our way out. That made super happy to see....to see people still going to movie theaters despite what people say online and elsewhere. As a 90s kid when movie theaters were life! Haha especially 90s kids who grew up in a small city where we didn't have much to do...the movies being one of the biggest things to do... Point is lol, there's nothing better than seeing a movie like Jurassic World or Superman in theaters. Hell, any movie really. I hope theaters are around forever. So when you go to a movie now and see it busy like this place was...even during the matinee, it's nice. Then theater itself is suuuuuper clean! There was a mess up front where people spill shit and don't bother to clean it up, but that's to be expected?! People can be selfish and not even tell staff. Aside from that, it's impressive to see how spotless this place is. And at the very end of the movie, the staff floods into the theater to clean up. I know they do that everywhere, but there were like 10 of them when we were trying to watch the extra ending to Superman....which we felt weird with them all waiting on us...so we bounced and boooo didn't see the extra ending lol. No biggie. They were super nice about it. Prices are what you'd expect. Cheaper than the village, but comparable to most. That's the only complaint I'd have. Prices for theaters have jumped dramatically! Like ... dramatically! I get why they increased their prices, but ooof! That with buying a drink or whatever...shit is definitely pricey. The Coke pic I posted...medium was like ... $6! SIX. DOLLARS!! Chyle! That's a no from me hahaha! They have super comfortable "luxury" recliners. That's pretty awesome. Most theaters are doing this, I think? I dunno. Either way, it definitely makes watching the movie better. Still better than watching at home. Streaming is great and all, but ugh it's ruined so much. The staff is super friendly. Kinda shy a lot of them but they were nice. That of course always helps bc in so many (most) retail type stores/places the employees are so detached and want nothing to do with the people they're supposed to be helping lol...the people they applied to work for/with haha! So yeah, it's nice to see a friendly staff. This may have been just my first and second time here. I'll definitely be back. (Probably thought I'd say "but it won't be my last!" That would have been so corny tho hahaha) It's a great theater. I know most have already been but if you haven't...it's definitely worth it. Oh and the Art Deco-y atmosphere is super cool! With such mixed reviews I wasn't sure what to expect. We came in for the 1st time last Monday to see Moana 2. The guy working was kind and had good people skills. We were in theater 1. It was clean and the seats are comfortable. My two young kids had a great time watching the movie! The bathrooms were clean, my only complaint is that they didn't have paper towels to dry your hands and we won't use the blow dryers (those blow out mold and bacteria). They were also out of nachos which was a little disappointing but Im sure it wasn't a normal occurrence. We will be back again! read more

We've seen two movies and it was okay. Overall, one would think with the fancy reclinable chairs, pricing, and large enough parking that our experience would be better. There's just an odd smell in the hallways and in the individual theatre rooms from the two movies we watched here. Great reservation seat model with cozy chairs and stadium seating. Popcorn is made on site and soda flows in the concession area and a 2nd refill station in the main hall outside your theater door. This is my third visit to the theatre and here is the summary. Eagle Luxe is newer and the exterior design is new and always plenty of parking. 5 star Lots of movie time options, which is great. The seats recline and are extremely comfortable. 5 Star. The interior of the theatre at noon on Sunday was messy: popcorn everywhere, wet roll of paper towels on the counter in the men's bathroom and boxes of inventory stacked in the hallway. 2 star. Ordered nachos and popcorn, paid and then was told no nachos in stock. Couldn't print me a receipt to confirm the refund was processed. 1 star. The video projector in theatre 9 was overshooting the screen by 3-4 feet left, right and top. Not a good experience for my family. 2 star. In terms of acoustics, the high and low frequencies are excellent. Little to no low frequency from the system. 3.5 star. To summarize, the theatre is nice and the movie options are good, 5 star. The overall look and feel of this theatre is a 2 star. Sadly, this is a leadership issue, running a theatre requires process and accountability to maintain and execute. Plenty of issues here. We have enjoyed coming here for a movie as well as bringing the grandchildren to watch their favorite films. Im taking stars off due to the cleanliness of the theater, popcorn and candy on the floor and seats inside the individual theaters and trash over flowing. We did bring this to the attention of the management staff at the time, but they were not interested. We were Hoping they could get some more employees to help in this area before the movie started, but that did not happen. read more

Be aware of the previews if you are taking your children to the movies. We went and saw lilo and stitch this morning and the previews were both rated PG-13 (Superman movie and Jurassic Park) the Jurassic park one was very scary and totally inappropriate for the audience waiting to see lilo and stitch (rated PG). When I spoke to manager he said he would "check to see what was downloaded" but said corporate makes those decisions. I'll be checking with corporate tomorrow. read more

We went to see Napoleon at 9:30 pm last week. When we walked into our theater the floors and seats were all covered in popcorn. My husband asked and a nice kid came to clean it. They said the staff had been sent home. No problem. Were were watching the movie. It was almost at the end. Maybe 10 minutes left when the overhead lights came on. Guess it was midnight and the people who worked there wanted to leave. Went out to look for someone to turn lights back off. No one there. I've never had a theater turn the lights on before a movie ended. It was a pretty crappy way to end the night. read more

A great a Theater! The Eagle location is super easy to get to and parking is always available. The inside of the Theater is layed out nicely, easy access. The staff is friendly and helpful. Very comfortable Theater. The recliner chairs are such a bonus, and the isles are wide enough to feel safe when getting to and from the seats. Good selection of movies for young and older folks. I have nothing bad to say about this theatre at all. -accessible parking lot -good prices ($8.50 for matinee!) -lots of movie choices -pick your own seats -affordable concessions (.50 candy?! what??) - ALL electric leather recliners- SO COMFORTABLE. - good sound in the theatre -extremely clean inside and out. I told my husband I was extremely impressed with the job they did on this place and it is now our favorite theatre in town. We have been to this location a few times, but only because of the seats - they are very comfortable but everything else here is a disaster. A few months ago we went for the movie Horizon. We went to the concession counter and got a soda, as the young man was ringing us up he belched audibly and said nothing. Every time we have been, the free-style soda machine is not only very dirty but also sold out of most choices. The bathrooms are also messy and do not appear to be attended to. No one seems to care at this spot which is sad because it could be so nice. read more

We had bought 4 tickets to Jurassic World. One of our party cancelled last minute. Sent email asking if they would refund the ticket. Received a response right away and refunded the cost the next day!!! Movie was great, snacks good. Seats are great. Was surprised to see so many low reviews of the Luxe, but many if them seem to revolve around cleanliness and customer service. We luckily didn't experience either issue so that's good. The theatres are small, but don't feel cramped. They have large recliners which is always welcome, but they could be a tad better IMO. The popcorn/soda prices were a bit high for the size of the container l but they said it's free refills. I rarely leave a showing once it begins, but the fact they're offering free refills is nice. Overall I enjoyed my experience at the Luxe and would go again. It's relatively the same distance as the Village for me, but it seemed quieter which could make a difference. The biggest problem with going to the theatre are the other noisy guests lol. I also really like the plaza out front. Easier to access than the village. read more

First time at this theatre, went to see Smile with family. The entire first half of the movie teenagers were grunting, hollering, throwing popcorn etc. It got to the point that three separate people complained and some viewers spoke to the teenagers personally asking them to quiet down. Eventually the staff turned on the lights and demanded the noise makers leave immediately before resuming the movie. Eventually they left with a ten minute pause put in the middle of the movie. The staff offered the teens REFUNDS! Which was ridiculous, we should have been offered refunds for the worst movie theatre experience I've ever had. read more

Honestly some these reviews from Karen's are crazy! I have been here at least 4-5 times in the last month and nothing but great experiences. Easily the best movie theatre in all Treasure Valley! Staff is always nice also! Tuesdays movie tickets are less than $6! Great deals on Snacks also! Their seats are super comfy, love that they have trays, and it reclines not just on your legs but also adjusts your back for some nice posture while being comfy. I love that they also have DOLBY options for some screening which is huge because you get the highest quality picture and sound! read more

Too loud! Maybe I'm getting old, I clocked it at 104+ decibels. And I'm the one who loves loud music and loud fireworks. This just felt jarring. The recliners are super nice. Red leather with motorized recliners. Big fan and they offer plenty of space to stretch out. The layout is great, it feels much more private than a typical stadium seating theater. Line for food was crazy long - ~10 min wait in line. Not for lack of trying, they had 4 cashiers and were cranking threw as fast as they could. Idk what the answer is to having a better system. It's obvious someone got pissed off or they don't know what terrible looks like. Take a drive to Cali. The reviews are false. It's amazing. The theatre is beautiful and clean. During shut down they fought to re-open & stay open. Let's support them. BRing the family. Skip the mall theater and let's help grow our business. Amazing experience. Omg the seats are amazing they just don't recline they adjust to your body and head. Yup the recline is also on your head. We Californian's don't get impressed very easily. First time here! The lady that helped me was super friendly! I told her it was my first time there and she got excited and welcomed me. She said she hopes this becomes my new favorite theater which I would say the same to my customer if I was her. The slurpee was delicious and the seats are very comfortable! I was in theater 11 which has about 50 seats. Smaller than what I am used to but did not bother me one bit. The movie was perfect in sound volume and no issues with clarity. Had an issue with tickets, couldn't get hold of live person on phone. Stopped by and two gentleman behind counter immediately acknowledged my issue and brought in a manager to help resolve. I forgot the managers name, be she was extremely helpful and helped resolve my issue. Great customer service which is hard to find these days. These representatives of the theatre actually acted as though they truly liked their job, which is also hard to find. This great customer service will keep customers returning and is should be representative for all businesses. read more

Beautiful theatre, fresh hot popcorn, & comfy seats!! The Reel Luxe Theatre in Caldwell is always my & my hubby's go to movie theater, but last night we ended up at the new Eagle location to watch Star Wars because the one in Caldwell wasn't showing until 930 pm. The movie was playing at 720 here, so we made the trip from Nampa to Eagle. I purchased my tickets online & the cost for 2 tickets after fees were $27. The parkIng lot was huge and had plenty of spaces. I think that there needs to be more lighting right after the entrance to the parking lot. They have several turns & dividers and it was difficult to see well at night. That's not the tHeatre's fault, so I'm not mad. Just an observation & suggestion. As we entered the lobby, we were greeted by the delicious smell of freshly popped popcorn. It was immaculately clean. There are several kiosks that you can use to pick up and print your tickets that you bought online. For some reason they weren't working, so he had to get them when we ordered our refreshments. We ordered a #3. It included a large popcorn & 2 large drinks. We were even able to upgrade our drinks to an Icee for only .49 cents. They also offer an insane amoUnt of Coca Cola drinks and they even offer CHEWY ICE! So, if you're like me and have an ice addiction, you will be very happy. Our movie was in Theatre #5. As we walked in, we not only noticed that we were the only people in the theatre, but there was nothing playing on the movie screen. Our movie was scheduled to start at 7:20 and at 7:17, there still was nothing on the screen. I made my husband go find someone to see if this was a normal occurrence. He was told that they don't always play anything on the screen prior to the movie start time. It was a bit odd to say the least. The movie started on time and the picture and sound were great. I had to leave during the movie to get a drink refill & i was pleasantly surprised that they have a separate counter right near the theaters for drink refills & snack bar service. It's awesome to not have to go back to the lobby for this. The recliners were comfortable, but my husband and I agreed that we liked the Caldwell ones better. The recliners in Caldwell recline more and the foot rest/leg area is longer. I am only 5'2" and my feet hung over. The seats do have a USB port in them so you can charge your phone during the movie. I thought that was a nice touch. Overall, we were very happy with our experience at The Luxe Reel! I wouldn't hesitate to come back again. I'm confident that all of the little issues will be worked out as time goes on. After all, this place is brand new! read more

My wife and I went to this new theater in Eagle tonight. We have been anxious to give it a try since it is so convenient to our home in Eagle. There was some good and some bad. First the good. Being brand new it was very clean. The seats are comfortable and recline very nicely. The sound system is excellent - except during the coming attractions when it is so loud it almost broke our eardrums. My wife went out to complain but the sound level remained unabated - until the actual movie started and the sound volume was fine. Now for the bad, and these were big time bad things. First, after buying a large popcorn our son went back to the concession area to ask for a paper container so that we could more easily share the popcorn. When he came back he told us that he was charged 25 cents for a very small holder that could not have cost the theater more than .00001 cent per container. What a rip off. Completely blew us away. We told our son we never would have paid anything for what should have been complimentary - especially because of what we paid for the popcorn. Very bad PR move for a brand new business. Second, my wife reported that in the women's restroom, they don't have paper toilet seat covers. Not that they were out of them. They don't even have a dispenser for them. What is up with that? That may be okay for the men's room, but not for the ladies. We will have to give serious thought to where we see our next movie. It may be back to the Majestic... read more

Long story short: for a brand new theater (Eagle location), this theater was way too messy for our expectations. I took photos, but since my cell had no service.. they didn't save. Weird how that's been happening. Anywho... we were extremely excited to check out this theater for the last few months because of the close proximity to our house as well as the luxury seats. However, we were quickly disappointed. The theater had popcorn ALL over the seats and the floor. It wasn't even cleaned before our movie. We know because we showed up 30 minutes early and sat in the theater to hangout. Another issue, the power went out for about a minute and reset everything. All the screens were down & we lost money playing the arcade games. They looked us dead in the eye and ignored the fact they knew we put money in for a game that shut off. Lastly, going back to the cleanliness, the employees do a poor job of keeping up on the theater. If you look at the seats (totally unintentionally noticed), the grease from each previous head was still remaining on the headrest. SO gross. Definitely need to disinfect and wipe down. There was a visible white spot where heads rest... on MANY seats, not just one. The theater & screen is smaller than I'm used to but still nice. The ambiance is neat. The popcorn was fresh and not stale like more theaters... same with the candy. Overall, the theater has potential to be a five star. I realize they may not have had control over the power going out for a minute; however, they completely have control over the cleanliness of a "luxury" theater. For now, this is a 3-star experience, at best. read more

They were out of a lot of small things on their menu, popcorn was clearly hours old, soda machine was weak. How hard is it to dial in theatre food? I guess pretty hard.
