Even though we could've taken Her with us, we prayed on it and thought it best for Her to stay. She hadn't been with anyone else since we got her at 2 months old and now she's 2 years old. Ms.Fiona and her family at "Pawtastic Pack" was(is) an answered prayer, because she's our furbaby(Heaven Pup). I prayed for Her, after losing loved ones so close together was so hard, She's a great comforter. After meeting Ms. Fiona and her family, my spirit was was at ease, we knew she would be safe and in great hands. Although I cried when we dropped her off, I was still at ease. We received pictures and video updates, she did look a little worried the 1st 2 days & I did cry again, however, once I saw the video of her interactions with the other furbabies I was able to enjoy the Beautiful People & Island of Jamaica. THE PAWTASTIC PACK is a welcomed home away from home and I love the fact they are not in crates, even doing bedtime. My dog was attacked by another during his 8 hr daycare stay. We picked him up at around 4pm and later found out that this happened at around noon. We were not notified and my dog was not taken to vet. When we picked him up we immediately noticed he was limping and she (Fionas mom) LIED. I put my foot down and inspected him on their front lawn and found the pictured wound actively bleeding. She continued to lie saying nothing happened and she doesn't know how that got there and even tried saying it happened before we dropped him off (when he was perfectly fine at drop off and I KNOW there were no wounds because I brushed him RIGHT BEFORE dropping him off so I would have seen it). Only after we left and took him to an emergency vet did we get a text from Fiona saying that a dog jumped on him, attacking him and had to be pulled off my dog. This is a very condensed version of the full story but they were deceptive and didn't have my dog's well being in mind as he would have been taken to vet immediately - not laying in pain bleeding for 4 hours. Think twice before entrusting your babies to this daycare.

She said it was probably the shampoo and my dog probably needed an oatmeal bath. I asked what type of shampoo they used and she stated furminator, which is used to control shedding. Well my little dog is hypoallergenic. Why would someone use such a strong shampoo on a non shedding dog? She didn't offer any repayment or apology for the dog being sick. She only indicated if I come back that they would use a different shampoo. Well that was my first time and my last time there. Take you beloved pet somewhere else.

I needed a cat sitter for my high-energy, outgoing, and human attention-craving Sphynx kitty. She…read moreis only 9 months old and had never spent a night alone, let alone an entire week. I was so worried about her, but Ellen sent me a picture and e-mail every day while I was overseas to alleviate my fears and allow me to enjoy my vacation. She is the owner of the business, with several helpers - but took care of our cat personally. She came over twice a day (for an hour total) to feed, cuddle, and play with our cat, as well as take care of the litter every day and take in the mail/newspapers. Ellen also operates her business out of her home, which is only 2 blocks from mine. In looking for a sitter, I knew I wanted someone local who could easily stop by, who owned cats, and who had a business that was big enough to be trusted (she's insured and bonded). But I also wanted a business small enough so that it could provide old-fashioned customer service and special attention to my pet. And that's exactly what I got - from the consultation that ended up lasting almost an hour (because we just kept chatting while getting to know each other), to dropping copies of our keys at her house "just whenever," to her visiting us a week after we returned to visit our cat and pick up the check. All while responding to every email very promptly. It's no surprise that she won Alexandria Times' reader's choice for best pet sitter/walker. In the end, Ellen fell in love with our cat, and said she took lots of pictures and even told our cat that she secretly liked her better than her own cat, lol =). She is a very trustworthy, sweet lady, and I am so glad to have found her. She gives me the peace of mind to be able to take vacations with a needy animal at home. Plus, it was only $20 for a half-hour visit ($30 for a weekend visit), but she took $5 off on weekends because it was twice a day. According to the reviews of the other (too big) company I chose as a backup in Del Ray, the cost could have likely come to $1000 a week instead of about $300. We will be requesting her services again for a week in June. The best part? Ellen's eyes brightened up when we told her. She misses our cat. Aww. =)

He recently helped my older cat with horrible dental problems, also a very direct and excellent experience with the exception being they refused to prescribe her any post surgery pain medication, I was so distraught to learn of this; I called and yelled. I do feel bad but surgery of 10 teeth being removed, stitches...and no after care pain med? I begged for anything to help her pain over the next few days and was told no. Super upsetting. The doctor is amazing though. He is brilliant. Dr. Basheer Ahamed gets 4 stars for sure.

For a few days the diarrhea subsided, then I woke up this morning to find blood drops mixed with stool. I immediately started my search for a vet, as my regular vet does not do inhouse lab testing. I found Dr. Diarra office and decided to try this location. Thankfully they take walk-ins. Dr. Diarra was very professional, kind and caring. As well as his receptionist. He explained what may have caused the diarrhea, offered sound advice as he examined My Charlie. He proscribed some medications and personally explained what each one was for and how/when to administer them. I am beyond happy with the care My Charlie received.
