He has lots of anxiety and gets depressed whenever we have to leave him for extended periods. The first time we used this service, we left him with my brother and went on a trip out of state. Normally, he doesn't eat or poop when we leave him like this for a few days. However, he absolutely loved his walks with Ashley and my brother told us he ate and had a regular bathroom schedule! We got daily reports from Ashley and pictures with detailed information on if she gave him treats and his activities/pace during the walk. It was heartwarming to see our little guy being cared for while we were away. Because this was so great, we used the service again when I had to travel out of town. My husband was home but had to work really long hours so we had Marsha take Rockie for his afternoon/evening walks. Again, we got detailed reports and our little guy was very happy (evidenced by his regular eating and bathroom schedule). We also have a doorbell camera that automatically took a couple of 20 second videos and seeing how kind and caring Marsha was with our baby really put the icing on the cake! At the end of each service you get a pet journal, where the walker or sitter gives a little report of what your pet was up to or accomplished, as well as a photo and - I won't lie - they're the highlight of my day. I cannot overstate how incredible the owner, Katie, and office manager, Lynda, are. And my comments--already verging on superfluous--would sound even more so if I described how fantastic our regular walker (but really, family member), Dolores, is- she is kind, caring, and we, and our pups, love her. We have asked Fairy Dogmom to walk our pups (three, poorly trained cavaliers--which is no easy task!), feed our kitties, board our dogs, and also stay at our home to take care of the full menagerie (three dogs and two cats). Fairy Dogmom has fulfilled all of our requests and done so reliably and with the utmost care and attention. For "normal" dog walks, we receive comprehensive and fun updates, complete with a narrative and photos, and when we have had a Fairy Dogmom stay with our dogs and cats, it's like we have left them in the capable and loving hands of a best friend--who updates us constantly by email about how our crew is doing. We recently lost one of our sweet dogs to cancer, and Dolores, Katie, and Lynda could not have been kinder, or more supportive, through a very tough month. Myron's got a big house, and a huge backyard filled with lots of doggie toys, and 8 foot tall cement walls, so you never have to worry about your dog escaping!
