It's a quiet place to enjoy beer, shots or wine and good conversation with grown-ups. It has a Godfather/Goodfellas vibe and the man knows his cigars. He has converted the back half of the bar into a comedy club, with weekly stand-up shows featuring the best comics in the southeast. It's not an open mic with a bunch of twenty-nothings telling the same joke about not having a girlfriend. The bookings are backed up to May of next year, with full two-hour shows designed to bring comedy lovers to Dade City. I found it impressive. You just don't see that sort of thing in a town of 6,000.
