Hands down the BEST experience I have ever had with a tattoo shop, artist and business in general. I can't say enough amazing things in this review but I'll try: I was tattooed by Adam Stoner, the owner and you can tell right off the bat that he takes pride in his business. The shop is immaculately clean and sterile. The staff is attentive, kind and personable. Adam is honest. He will be completely transparent about your idea for design and execution. He's upfront about pricing and has more than one option for scheduling. He is currently offering a fast pass that will get you earlier booking options. He also has 1/2 day and full day time slots. I am in love with the work he performed. Being such a sought out artist I wasn't sure if he would take me.. it was going to be a third cover up. The first tattoos I got at 17, the next time they were covered in the last couple of years were done by artist that left a lot to be desired. They were unfinished and not detailed. Adam worked his magic and gave me masterpieces. It's important to add, as a woman and as a woman of color, I felt very respected and safe. His entire shop staff was kind. Customer service is top notch: I was so bummed that I forgot my headphones and Adam immediately sent his assistant to purchase me some on their tab. Plus dinner! I waited years to get my first tattoo so that I could find just the right artist to create the design I wanted, and I got exactly what I'd been looking for at the Rue Morgue with Shelby! Compared to other work in her portfolio, my simple script tattoo is small and pretty basic. But it's still extremely important to me and Shelby definitely got that. During the consultation, she listened to everything I explained and asked my preferences on things I had never even considered. I also appreciated that she gave me a realistic idea of what to expect in terms of the pain getting my first tattoo on top of my foot. When I came back for the actual tattoo, the design was perfect except for one small tweak, which she graciously made. The tattoo itself only took about 15 minutes to ink, and the finished work looks flawless! I've gotten so many compliments and I couldn't be happier. read more

Hands down one of the most (if not THE most) professional, welcoming, fun as hell shops I've ever been in. The atmosphere is great and you can tell they truly care about every detail. My gf and I got some tattoos done by Curtis at the end of a 10 hour road trip we were on. What we got was a fairly simple idea but he took the time to care about the little tweaks we wanted and made the whole experience golden. I live 3 1/2 hours out near Chicago where there are plenty of shops but I most definitely will be making a few trips back to get work done here on my half sleeve instead. From line work to overall knowledge this place was a total gem of a find. The portfolios of the other artists there are beautiful as well and they all are amazing at their craft. Nice tattoo shop in small town Shelbyville located next to Pizza King. The owner Adam Stoner, gets customers from all over coming to him, he is an expert at black and gray tattooing. He has a piercer on staff and has about 4 other tattoo artist that also work in his shop. I have met and talked to them all but Adam is the person who inked my entire arm sleeve. It looks badass and he and I came up with a great concept and he turned our ideas in art that will forever cover my arm. Adam does stay booked up about 4 plus weeks in advance, so plan ahead if you want him putting ink on you. I had several mostly all day long sessions getting my arm done, so I got to know the crew pretty well too. They are all a group of nice guys who joke and love what they do. Each one specializes in certain types of artwork, so depending on what you want done, one of the guys can most likely do it for you. Adam also likes dark macabre types of things, and is willing to trade ink work for various pieces you have to trade. He is also a musician and open to trading other items for ink too. Even though he is booked up all the time, his prices are very reasonable. Him and his staff can do any customer work, cover ups, or anything you want done. Several other tatted people who had a buddy do their tats for cheap, after seeing my work, said they were embarrassed to even show me their ink, lol. Adam is a master artist, does fine detail work, and shades perfectly as needed. I highly recommend this location and Adam Stoner for ink work. read more

Came in for a nostril piercing. Girl pierced my nose then dropped the jewelry half way through then she repierced my nose WITH A USED NEEDLE! Will never go back. Expensive dirty and disappointing. read more
