The ppl are better than the bar. Yelp wants 85 caricatures to post a review. Um.. parking is good. Acme is close as is W&S.

I have never stepped foot inside that bar until the other night when I TRIED to walk in and get a beer for myself when the bouncers stopped me and said "I was flagged" I asked for a reason why as again I have NEVER been inside the bar, the owner stood there and watched as they kept telling me to get out. I kept asking if Steve would come over and talk to me and at least tell me why and he just stood at the other end of the bar starring at me... ended up crying because I'm confused and frustrated ... the one bouncer ended up telling me and told me I was banned from coming in because he apparently knows that I am friends with someone he fucking banned there 3 YEARS AGO!!!! (which BTW the person I know was banned for hitting on a girl there 3 years ago who ended Up having a boyfriend which then Steve said he was sexually harassing the girl for going up to her and hitting on her) WTF is that ???? everyone I told said that it's the craziest thing they ever heard and some have even said they have been "flagged" for even crazier things ... Steve is a JOKE. So i guess it's cool to ban people for knowing people LOL

Jason was willing to work with us and so detailed, I was so impressed, I not only booked the rehearsal dinner there, but then hired Dog and Bull to provide our bar service at the wedding venue and the after party. All three of these events were separate, but perfectly facilitated. The food and service were amazing and my guests are still raving about the events. Use them for your catered events in or outside of the restaurant. You will not be disappointed. Jason who handled all of my catered events was awesome The staff also awesone. I would rate them 100 stars if I could.

I didn't have the pleasure of visiting Dog & Bull before it was renovated, but I visited last night and can't wait to return. My friend and I made a reservation for 5:30 PM (just in case) as we read online that reservations were recommended, but I don't actually think one was needed. When you walk in, it's bright and inviting. The garage doors throughout the property provide a ton of natural light. I can only imagine how lovely it is when they're open in the summer. Additionally, the outside has a nice patio and an area with a fire pit. The restaurant's layout was designed wonderfully! Our server was Alex (Alexandria) and she was the epitome of exceptional service. She checked in on us multiple times and always had a smile on her face when she came over. We really appreciated having her. The baked feta and hummus appetizer was just as delicious as it looks in the photo. The thick pieces of garlic, roasted red peppers, olives, cucumbers and pita bread triangles paired so nicely with the feta. The hummus was warmed up and it looked like the kitchen staff may have torched the top of it. It was phenomenal. Boy do I have notes on the lentil burger - it was 10/10!! I'm not a big bean person and even though this burger had beans in it, it somehow tasted like an actual beef burger. Sounds crazy, I know, but trust and believe it was pure excellence. I added cheddar for an additional charge and upgraded my regular fries to garlic parm fries. Finally, the caramel apple bread pudding... oh my oh my! What a DELIGHT. The top was piled high with a big scoop of frosting. Yes, you read that right. Frosting! Not ice cream! You can taste the apple pieces in the bread pudding. My friend and I wanted to order it twice. It was THAT good. It was easy to make my way to Dog & Bull from Center City thanks to the Septa station located directly behind the restaurant. Street parking also wasn't too bad yesterday. I absolutely loved the experience I had here and will be stopping by again this summer! Thanks, Dog & Bull!

Went on yelp, found this place, and was pleasantly surprised. Walking in the sports bar was a little tight and packed but from the dining room in the back you couldn't hear any of the noise. Rylie was our server and she was the absolute perfect server for us. We are goofballs on a good day and a walking circus troupe on others. She laughed with us, gave us drink and appetizer suggestions, helped my indecisive behind pick and entree, and quickly became part of the family. She is the type of server that you come back to a place just to see. We love you RY ; We even got to meet the chef Al, the man responsible for the kick ass brisket tacos that our group is still talking about a week later. Making it our business to stop in for his smoked wings and ribs. Do yourself a favor and stop by this "blink and you'll miss it" roadside place, you and your wallet will be happy that you did!! Dinner for four, drinks, appetizers, and dessert....only $130 (before tip)

The floor in the main dinning room is pulling apart and is duct taped together. The chairs and tables are flimsy and falling apart. I asked for a blood orange margarita as it was the special of the day. It was not drinkable. It was some sort of powder or mix that was so sour and overly sweet. It did not have any tequila in it. I literally took one sip and left it there. The cheesesteak was good on a seeded roll. It was ribeye and it was done well. Hence tge two stars. The bbq platter had brisket, pulled chicken, ribs, corn and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was the best thing on the platter. The pulled chicken was sitting in a bowl of grease. The brisket was big globs of fat. The ribs were okay. They put a tiny line of sauce on each item. The service was rushed and spotty. I had heard good things, so we decided to give it a try. Very disappointed. There are so many good places around this area now, there is no need to go here again.
