I love this place more than I love my boyfriend. I've never ever been disappointed here. My favorite cupcake is the Lemon Brownie. But all of the ones I've tried (dozen+) were mind-blowing. Yeah, they are pricey cupcakes, but are totally worth it. They are gigantic! Small little place, you'll miss it if you blink while you're driving by, and TINY TINY parking lot. I sadly did not really like the cupcakes here. Cake was fine but the frosting was bland with a waxy texture, very odd. I tried the buttercream frosted, strawberry frosted cupcakes and cream cheese frosted, same off flavor and texture. The double chocolate was the best of the 4 I tried. When this place first opened years ago they were absolutely amazing! Over the years however I've noticed that the cupcakes have gotten more and more sweet, with less and less actual flavor. And often times the cupcakes are dry. Prices continue to rise on the cost as well (Yes I get it, inflation...). I personally feel like they've gotten too big to keep up with in terms of consistency and bold flavors; everything now just tastes like sugar. Oh... my.... god... are these good cupcakes! They are very pricey, but they're pretty and absolutely melt in your mouth. I got half a dozen for my son's birthday, and everyone loved them. They do need to add little flags in the ones that contain allergens (one I ordered had peanut butter frosting on it and my son is allergic to peanuts). By the time I got home with them, I couldn't remember which ones had what in them. I highly recommend getting there early, as they run out of the best flavors quickly. I've been meaning to stop in for a couple weeks now but I just haven't had the time. today I actually had time and after reading the reviews on the paczki cupcake on Facebook I decided I would stop in. the girl behind the counter (didn't catch a name) was super friendly and helped us right away, I didnt have to look to figure out what I wanted, we were there for the paczki :) the cupcake was a decent size, not super big but wasn't really small ether, and had the cutest little paczki on top (my kids loved that part!). If I eat more than a few bites the richness and the sugar hit me too hard so I am happy to share. The red velvet I think has been overdone and it underwhelmed compared to it's counterparts. I am very much looking forward to seeing what flavors the fall and holiday season will bring. We used The Salted Cupcake instead of a traditional wedding cake and it was the best decision! We were able to do a "tasting" over the course of a few days by requesting 12 flavors and picking up multiple times. We ended up with four flavors that everyone loved! They were incredibly communicative and flexible with changes due to COVID and the delivery and set-up went very smoothly. My now-husband and I did our cake-cutting ceremony with a cupcake and it was super cute! All of our guests raved about the cupcakes and they had all been taken by the end of the night. If you are concerned with people touching multiple cupcakes, I would highly recommend that you have them individually box the cupcakes. The boxes are a very classy black and white and the flavor is written on top. Overall, I can't recommend The Salted Cupcake enough for your wedding dessert needs! read more

This tiny hole in the wall does exactly what it needs to so that you can get your cupcake fix in. They start baking just before the sun comes up just so we can get our grub on! Worth every penny. This place is right down the street from my job and I see it everyday but I was not sure if it was open or not. I looked it up on YELP and I seen all kinds of delicious cupcakes. When I got off work I was planning on going to Meijer to get cupcakes but I decided to go to The Salted Cupcake and I was so happy that I did. The two cupcakes that I bought looked incredible and at a great price I could not wait to get home and try them with my wife. When we tried them we were very very happy they were so thick and rich with flavor. Excellent filling treat that we will definitely get again.
