However, this is definitely a thrift store comparable to the quality of Potter's House and Goodwill. They carry the items that did not meet their standards to sell in their boutique stores. Some items are very worn and have holes and stains. They have A LOT of merchandise -men's, women's, and kids along with books, toys, and housewares so you do have to do a lot of digging and browsing. Most items are sorted and hung but some are just in bins. They do have shopping carts now but no fitting rooms (although they do have a restroom you can ask to use). The pricing has been updated here since they first opened and it was pay by weight and now thankfully it is much more affordable. Adult clothes are now $1 each and kids are 65 cents. They do have frequent sales and fill a bag days which are great! I do wish they had a rewards program or punch cards as an extra perk like they did when they were part of Beautiful Lives rewards program. Another thing they recently started was hosting free events. We attended their stamp party and had a great time. Thrift Out is definitely worth checking out if you love to shop and find great deals and as a bonus you are supporting a non profit and their local causes.

It is nicely organized and the quality and variety of clothing is nice. The prices can be a little high for used items but they often have sales on certain color tags. They do also have upscale items like designers purses and shoes. For consigning you don't need an appt and they take items Mon, Wed, and Friday up to 30 items per visit. You get paid cash or store credit on items that sell. Overall, I haven't made much money but they do seem very picky on what they take b/c they have such a huge stock of clothing. I purchased a $100 gift card weeks ago, on or around November 20th. The only notification I received was an automated email confirming the order. It never arrived and I was never charged - until one morning earlier this week. A charge for $100 was added then canceled a moment later (weeks after the order was placed) according to my card company I still have received no gift card I have also received zero communication from anyone at the company. In fact, they have made it as difficult as possible to communicate with a human customer service representative. Zero interest in assisting customers. Better for us to get busy and give up so they make more money. Total customer care failure I opened a complaint ticket and I received yet another automated email notifying me that my complaint wasn't in the right dept. So I had to file ANOTHER complaint and got ANOTHER auto email saying it had been received. The only human contact I have had is when I finally got someone (after 4 attempts) to pick up the phone. She told me a gift card had shipped on the 11th of December! That's the first I was hearing about it. She did not address any of these issues I've discussed above and brought to her attention. She did not give me a delivery date. She offered no assistance with my dissatisfied feedback. Is this the closure of my ticket? The feedback vacuum AND the overall buying AND customer service experience has been genuinely appalling. I've never experienced anything like it Honestly, I've never had a company treat me so unimportantly or insignificantly before. Especially since I've gone out of my way to show this company patience and extend a little good faith while waiting for some sort of attempt to retain me as a customer. So much for that As things sit currently, I just received a one sentence email from a "Customer Service Specialist" that simply said, "We sincerely apologize for all the inconvenience." No sign of a gift card yet, or even a charge, or shipment confirmation notification. We'll see how it goes at Christmas when it's time to give my sister her gift card since... I still have received no gift card Yes, seriously. This is all about a simple gift card Avoid this nightmare retail experience at all costs UPDATE: Was sent yet another automatic email response when I asked why I STILL HAVEN'T HEARD FROM ANYONE.
