Well this was my first time visiting The Scoop, and I can only review the malt that I had. All I can say is OMG it was great! I had a butterscotch, roasted pecan, double malted malt, and it was fantastic. The ice cream is very good quality and that plays a great part in the overall flavor. Few places make actual malts these days, but this place does and they are good at it too. The young man that served me could have played the low talker on an episode of Seinfeld, as I had to lean all the way across the counter to hear what he was saying, and I get that some people are just very shy; but other than that I really enjoyed the ice cream. This place just made my day Yall. I've never heard of or had Bop's before. So, I have a yearly tradition to get a deconstructed drumstick on this date in honor of my sister that is no longer with us's birthday. And let me tell you, this is the best one I've ever had. PLUS they didn't look at me crazy when I requested cone crumbs to be added (like every other place) . Also, they make the cutest little pup cups at no charge. I made a trip to Bops yesterday. Im going through drive through, and there was a girl at the window. The girl was just kind of short with me and just made me overall feel unwelcome this isn't the first occasion but I definitely want it to be the last. The boy handing out the order was kind.....I love this establishment. I love supporting local businesses. I always tip well and try and treat these young employees nicely. My heart and my stomach were very happy after going to Bops. I would consider myself an ice cream connoisseur and this place met my standards! On their menu I would highly recommend choosing the "concretes". These are a blend of vanilla or chocolate icecream with ANY of your favorite toppings mixed in. The icecream is very creamy. The girls working the counter were so sweet and patient with our group of 7 who walked in just staring at the menu for 10 minutes. They definitely deserve your tips! I got the vanilla milkshake with cookie dough mix ins and let me tell you there was cookie dough for dayysss. Very generous portions for the price tag and the custard is thick and creamy. Maybe try one of their specialty treats like the turtle for a little more texture and flavor variety. Go give this local business some lovin'. read more

Ah-mazing!!! Hand's down best custard ever! The concretes are chock full of add-ins. And the servings are big! The decor of the store is simple but perfect. I love supporting Christian companies, especially when they aren't afraid to advertise it! We are on a roadtrip and we do our best to eat at only local restaurants. So glad we found this one!! Excellent creamy custard!!!!! I didn't think any place could match Andy's or Freddy's custard. But Bop's is just as good! It is creamy & smooth both vanilla & chocolate my wife said their chocolate custard is better than Freddy's cause it's not quite as strong flavor.
