Stopped by Billy's because I'm traveling with kiddos, one of whom who struggles with restaurants. He loved the buttered noodles (high praise from a 10 year old old) and the bread. My daughter had the cheese pizza, and she gave it a 8.5 out of 10. My salad was tiny and 1/2 the lettuce was brown. I like their Caesar dressing, though. The fried chicken Parmesan pasta was okay. I wouldn't order it again because the meat sauce was sweet. Just a preference. The bread and cinnamon was a big hit! Overall, I'd come back and order something else. I've been here a few times and the food was wonderful each and every time. The staff were very pleasant and helped me with my order when I was unsure. They even cooked my Stromboli a few extra minutes to make the crust extra crispy. I'll be honest I was lucky to find this place because this city has a bunch of franchise restaurants. I am glad I was able to find this particular place which was within walking distance of my hotel the La Quinta inn & Suites. I ended up ordering the pasta sampler which is manicotti, spaghetti and 1 meatball. Also came with a roll and small side salad for $20.90 not including the tip. The best thing about the sampler is you do have a variety the worst thing is you really don't get much food. The one thing I have to say is at least it tasted fairly decent. The spaghetti and meatball from the sampler was actually really good. The other two items were okay. read more

Doesn't look like much in a strip mall, looks deceive, try it. Oops, ordered again the next night and what a mess, should have sent it back, the crust was more than some tasty char, solid black and way too much sausage that left it greasy and salty, the slicing was unique to anything I've seen. Service was good with a well timed team work among the staff. The dining room felt clean and tidy. The decor is very simple yet appropriate. There is a separate private room sectioned off with a sliding bard door. Located in the deep corner of an older shopping center that is 50% full of retailers -- perhaps going through another lifecycle. We were in town for a swim meet and chose to order take-out from Billy's. The service was exceptional from the young lady who took our phone order to the staff who greeted us and filled our order when we arrived for pick-up. My family and I ordered lasagna, cannelloni, antipasto salad, and the Philly steak poboy. The restaurant was clean (and very busy) upon arrival, and our food was hot and tasty. Best Italian food I've ever eaten...no...but good and fairly priced...yes. If we ever return to Vicksburg, we wouldn't hesitate to return to Billy's. read more

Loved that they had that as an option. Sauce was a little thin but was tasty. Chicken was cut into small pieces. Had it not been for Yelp, we never would have discovered this tiny spot tucked into the corner of a strip mall. Upon arrival, it took us a while to be waited on. But once we were, service was prompt and friendly. The waitress was very accommodating when I told her I couldn't have meat or dairy. She spoke with the chef who made the dish I ordered with olive oil instead of the typical butter. The bread served prior to the meal was very good. Our food came quickly and while it wasn't bad, it wasn't particularly special either. Everyone reported their food was not warm. Only the mushrooms on top of my dish were hot. Makes me think perhaps they left the others to sit while mine was specially prepared? The sauce lacked flavor. Had to use a lot of salt and red pepper. While I am very grateful to any restaurant that is willing to be flexible in meeting a diner's dietary needs, this chef used far too much oil. The dish was swimming in it. I couldn't eat very much before I felt a little queasy. Perhaps it's just lack of experience in working with different techniques. If we were to eat here again, I'd likely try a cheeseless pizza. Great service. Very friendly staff. I went here for lunch on Oct 1 and had the spaghetti. It was bland, Ragu sauce would have been better. Because of the friendly atmosphere here I decided to try again for dinner. I ordered a pizza and that was good. The staff there at dinner time was also friendly. I suggest passing on the spaghetti and trying their other items. The location of the restaurant is in the elbow of an L-shaped strip mall. Not sure if I'll ever visit Vicksburg again but I'll swing by this restaurant for a pizza if I do. read more

This is a great place to eat after a trip to the Vicksburg Military Park, or if your from here and looking to go out to eat at a casual restaurant. The pizza is really good, and I love the onion rings! The onion rings are sooo good! The bread is very good too, good and crunchy! The service is great! Since most places there are closed you have plenty of parking. The staff was friendly and it was obvious that they had their regulars from listing while I waited. The pizza itself was average.
