Ryan accepted the apology and replied he felt it was the team member / business that needed to apologize. Regardless, we were both inappropriate the previous night. After informing Ryan of my needs, we quickly found what was needed for my physical therapy session that immediately followed. Ryan understood my need for speed and I was checked out fast. He likes them but said they came with a weird patch with gold stitching on it - that's not his style at all. That sounded very different from what I thought I ordered, so I had him send me a photo. The photo on Billiam's website had a nice, simple, brown leather patch. The patch that actually came on the jeans looks really bad. It's blue and has large gold/yellow branding on it. So I contacted Billiam. They told me they "think it looks great" and is "the most expensive patch we've done yet" - neither of which are relevant - and refused to replace the patch. They couldn't accommodate a simple request because the "patch is intrinsically what our jeans are and to remove that would remove the whole point of why we do what we do." This one patch is intrinsic to and the whole point of their jeans - even though they (apparently) rotate patches seasonally and advertise a different patch on their website. "Placement of the branding and the style of our branding are things we have spent years deciding and are things we don't change" - they don't change it, even though they regularly change it. There is a mix of old sewing machines and large rolls of Jean denim all over the shop. They take great pride in being one of the only custom jean manufacturers in the US. It is not straight which causes the zipper to ripple. Also, the vinyl was damaged during zipper replacement. My bag came back looking like a knock off. I am honestly wondering if it is my original bag as mine has so much damage and curiously, this resale shoe suddenly has my exact same bag on the shelf. Note my bag was not in bad condition...just needed a zipper and end tab for crossbody carrying. I intend to ask for a refund and send my bag to Louis Vuitton for it to be corrected after this aweful experience. Small claims court may be necessary.
