It was quite filling, but it wasn't one of those burgers that makes you feel a little disgusting from eating all of the oil and fat from it. The fries were also quite good, but not as notable. An assortment of sauces will be served with the burgers that are fun to try with your meal. I got a berry kombucha that, while not homemade, is made by Tony's "good mate liam in byron bay." It was one of the better kombuchas I've had as well. The staff are extremely friendly and chatty. The joint is well decorated with musical paraphernalia and a comfy outside seating arrangement. Note 1: I highly recommend the burger order I got after our waitress excitedly told us it was her favorite. The #BORDY with bacon added on. Note 2: They will swap any of the burger patties with a plant based patty for a couple bucks, so vegetarians aren't out of luck. The vegetarians I ate with said it was still very good, but not at the same level as I was describing the burger I had. Note 3: They are dog friendly. I saw one dog there while I was eating and a few more when I had passed by earlier in the day.

I really like how they stick with a standard hamburger bun, none of that sweet or buttery rubbish trendsetters use ;-) Only fault, not enough to cost a star, is the food was cold by the time I got it, but like Masterchef judges I can taste cold food and tell you it still rocks!

The menu is simple: Classic Cheese, Wagyu Beef, Blame Canada, Chicken Karaage, Chickpea & Kumara, and a Weekly Special. The rest of the menu is simply fries and add-ons to your burger like bacon, another patty, cheese, and so forth. Seeing as I've had the Blame Canada already, I went for the Wagyu Beef Burger, Double. 2x Wagyu beef patty, double American cheddar, streaky bacon, lettuce, tomato, pickles, aioli, house made ketchup. The hype is real. This place is going to pop off. Even though the first bite pushed the beef out of the bun a little and this burger gets straight up messy, it's all pretty worth it. The bun holds it together and didn't fall apart this time while soaking up all the juices. The wagyu beef is medium rare, juicy, and pretty damn tasty, though there was a very minor aftertaste I couldn't pinpoint. The toppings were classic and fresh, but done extremely well to make for a delicious ass burger. I prefer this over Blame Canada and if they used potato buns here I'd probably be here all the time. Come get some before this place packs out.

We've been to Moo plenty of times so decided to give this place a go. We all ordered different types of burgers and none of us where left pleased. There was no flair to the Wagyu Cheeseburger. It was undercooked and extremely greasy (the burger patty kept slipping out of the bun)...to the point I had to get extra serviettes just to clean my hands because I felt so dirty during eating and after. Even though I was starving after the run, I didn't finish the burger and instead headed down to get a sausage roll, something a little more simple but a guarantee to taste good.

Good thing we passed by Burger Barrel along the way to satisfy our needs. I don't go out to Coogee that often and I never heard about this place so I didn't even know it existed until we rode by. It seems pretty newish, but also looks like it's been there at least a year based on stuff I've seen on social media. Anyway, the burgers all start at $10 which is kind of cool and they have a bunch of different options, so it's eerily kind of like Chur Burger, even down to the bun...my mortal enemy, brioche buns. I ordered the special of the day which was a wagyu cheeseburger ($14) and got double meat for $4 more, but forgot to get double cheese for $1 because I assumed it would include it...whoops! My mate ordered the classic cheeseburger for $12 and mine came with onion rings and his came with chips. 3/5 for both. Meat is OK but a little overcooked for my taste as they're all done medium. Also the brioche is meh. They'll do the job but they aren't mind blowing by any means, definitely worth a look if you're craving a burger in the area and/or Coogee Pavilion is closed.

Is lunch time getting too much that you feel like you're lost in the desert without your pants and an idiot for a sidekick? If you're smart and you know the difference between a rock and some minerals you'll get down to Burgers Anonymous and get addicted to what Walter and Jesse have cooked up for you here. Stumbled by this place completely by accident as DonDons was full we were drawn to here like MAGNETS! Cash flow was low, you know yourself money buried in the desert and all.... Anyways we saw the menu outside and it got our attention straight away. One thing I like is a place that has small amount of variety but does that small amount exceptionally well. I hoped that would be this place.... It WAS this place. We had the Heisenburger and I think it was the Eazy E I had (the basic one) with added american cheese and cracked bacon and let me just say if you do one thing here it's add the cheese and bacon. Both landed on our table and lasted 1 minute and 30 seconds at best (that's what she said, wahey!)... Delicious, sensational 99% pure! The only reason I'm not giving this place 5 stars is because we just had the burgers with no fries. As I was on a budget bacon and cheese fries might have stretched it out a little bit, it's not cheap if you add the extras but it is very very good. I will be back to try the bacon fries and hopefully give this place the five stars I'm confident it deserves. Is this a burger place for you to try out? You're goddamn right..... Ding! Ding! Ding!

Just got back to Sydney and figured it was time to try the new kid on the block, Burgers Anonymous…read more The outfit here is thematically Breaking Bad with a hip hop soundtrack, so you obviously can't go wrong here. Their selling point here is the beef they use, which hails from Hunter Valley Premium Meats and is their own blend of Angus Sirloin. Sirloin is typically a more expensive cut with less fat and in my opinion, makes for a far better steak than a burger patty, but we can see what's up. I opted for the Heisenburger because it's a double and has the crack bacon (double smoked, triple glazed.) Double beef patty, bacon, double American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, BA sauce The food came pretty quick and the burger looked great. The crack bacon is aptly named cause it is the perfect blend of sweet and savoury. The BA sauce is pretty great, but they could have added a little more, and the rest of the toppings besides the cheese were more of an afterthought. The patties are pretty damn tasty, cooked just right and seasoned very well, the downsides are it could have been juicier (more fat) and they could have been bigger as they were on the thin side. The bun is probably the biggest let down for this burger which would otherwise make this burger awesome. It's a milk bun that holds it all together but it's dry and at some points so airy that it's a little chalky, which really brings the burger down. If the bun could be improved this burger would be dope as, as well as more BA sauce.

Fried Mars bar was alright, tasty - I just wanted to try the Scottish treat but it's not a must-try. Chicken Burger was certainly tasty - I was impressed with the soft bun and tender chicken. They only open thursdsy through to Sunday from 5pm - 10pm, pretty decent hours for a late night appetizer :D!! The menu is at the front of the shop making it nice and easy to see what's on offer :). They had the Philly cheese steak rolls, loaded Hot dogs, loaded and plain fries and deep fried oreos :) I opted for the mushroom Philly cheese steak, love mushrooms haha!! Also got the the Philly hot dog which was a schnitzel crumbed Vienna hot dog and then deep fried .. :D, got chips and a drink with the deep fried oreos as a no brainer to order haha !! 2 mates both got the Philly cheese steak roll meal aswell & an NY Hot dog with a serving of deep fried oreos each aswell :). It was a cool lay out with libe American football on the TV to the left of the counter, 2 wooden bench table for seating, a small table ro the right of the counter with sauces/pickles to add on and a drum fire in the centre to warm up :), slightly 10 times better than those crappy tall gas heaters you see at all the restaurants everywhere these days haha The Cheese steak rolls were big and cheesy and on the tasty side .. wasn't on the hard side to scoff it down before you thought about taking it slow haha.. the hot dogs were on the average side but still not bad tasting but if i went back i would just stick to the Philly cheese steaks :)!! Last but not least the deep fried oreos, they weren't ready when we got our meals handed to us but they were conveniently ready when we had finished eating so it was perfect timing :). Is what a perfect amount of Batter on the oreos and it xame with oreo ice cream aswell :). My highlight of ths night was definitely the Oreos :D!! This place definitely kicks the butts of the majority of try hard Ameican places that have opened up in the city. The quality for the city places gets lost in trying to be the best when this place has a basic menu, the food qaulity is on point and for it being in a semi industrial area with the exception of a cafe and Italian restaurant beside it, it still got younger and older crowds, also a few families coming past for the cookies :D Also the people who were working there were super friendly and helpful :D!!
