This delicious salad was bursting with flavour. Chillies and lime - beef has never tasted so good! And Scallops the richness of the black pudding is magic with the clean taste of the scallops - delicious! My main of lamb rump was a good sized serve. Worth having again! I also managed to swipe a taste of the Barbary duck breast I can vouch that it was melt-in-the-mouth perfect and came with a very generous amount of the sauce, fondant potato & vegetables. It does what it says on the tin, a club for working (wo)men to come relax, have a drink or a meal. The restaurant has only opened a short while ago (then closed, apparently over row with chef, now reopened under new management) and although it is now a little more pricey it still does the same job. We managed to work our way through glasses of Pinot Grigio, Rose and Prosecco. St George's Market Bar and Grill also do the most amazing pure apple juice and Prosecco cocktail which we thought the best Prosecco based cocktail we have ever tried. Most of the restaurant ingredients are fresh and local, coming from the market itself. We arrived at just before 1pm and stayed until after 3pm as we had such a wonderful time there. So much so that we had to go to the greeter at the front door multiple times just to get attention. During the evening, no staff acknowledged that we might want a drink. No one came to take our order without us getting up and going to the greeter to ask for a waiter. No one asked us if we wanted the bill. After another half hour of waiting we went to the greeter again and asked them for the bill and paid directly there. It wasn't even a busy night. We left infuriated. I emailed them over two days ago with all this feedback and they didn't respond.
