10/20/25 (this was my review before they asked to take it down)This law firm is not the firm you want for family law case. How are you billing me for the absence of your lawyer and the switch of a lawyer?  I did not ask to switch lawyers.  The lawyer left the firm.  Now the lawyer SAM does not sound sure of himself. When asked questions or during court SAM seems very unsure.  SAM responses are always I don't know let me look into, where the other lawyer was on point and knew how to fight.  When the other party is not showing, why are they dragging, oh for more money. The only thing that you guys are worried about is money.  I wish I could give zero stars.  My child needs a bull as a lawyer, someone that's going to fight hard.  Why should her life be on hold when the party is not showing up? Go to court to have the case dismissed.  No, you guys then lose money.  Update: 3/1/26: I received a bill for 3200 today for bs.  Why are you still emailing the other party when they are not responding, just go tf to court? (they gave a bs answer on why)  Why are you emailing thousands of times,when you can send one email with all your questions, once again for money. (gave bs responds on why they have to email back to back) STAY CLEAR OF THIS FIRM.  THEY WILL BILL YOUR MAMA DRAWS OFF HER IF THEY COULD. LIKE I'M SO PISSED $26,000 FOR NOTHING.  More update: 4/6/26 termination was signed 4/6/26.  Why is it taking so long to return the money back to the trust? They're quick to bill you but not in a rush to send your money back to you?  Talking about, until the judge sign off, they're still the lawyers on the case, why this is true but you don't have to call me for anything when i have already obtain a new lawyer but yet, for money, they called two times after and I told the new lawyer they're harassing me and it stopped.  STAY CLEAR AND I AM YELLING THIS REVIEW. STAY CLEAR IF YOU WANT TO WIN YOUR CASE AND DON'T WANT TO BE RAILROADED FOR MONEY. STAY CLEAR. I OBTAIN A NEW LAWYER AND THEY GOT THE JOB DOWN IN TWO WEEKS.  4/28/26- update-- Learned today that this law firm (SAM the lawyer) did not provide the judge with the DNA test.  SMDH!! why wouldn't you provide the DNA test so child support can be talked about. That's because once again, you want to run up the bill. STAY CLEAR IF YOU DON'T WANT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY.  Also, finding out that they did not submit any discovery.  We're just not getting all over the discovery question and replies from the new lawyer.  I have been updating this log daily and waiting until the case was resolved by the other lawyer, who was a beast.  They got things done in 123 and it did not cause me an arm, leg and toe.  Stay clear away from THE SIEMON LAW FIRM, P.C.  They will bill you and bill you for unnecessary things.  They're for the other side and will bill you just to seem like they're working.  If the other side is not doing what they're supposed to do, why are you even bothering them?  Let them reach out but no.  They needed something to bill. read more

Absolutely "Pathetic Law Firm" made me put a credit card on file, every week was 350.00 charges of meetings Has 3 switched attorneys, zero communication between them and myself. I ask that no one ever use them as they are 100% crooks in for the money. It's no wonder 1 of the owners is driving a luxury sports car with a private gym instructor. Save yourself money and aggravation by AVOIDING this firm at all costs, specifically Ravelle Smith. You'd do better representing yourself! Mr. Smith has prolonged an open and shut case for 6+ months when neither party has money in the bank nor assets to split. Slow to respond all the while sending statements for thousands and thousands of dollars for strategizing and emails. Bills for time that can't be transparently documented other than how the firm says it's been allocated. Your retainer will be drained before the first document is filed with the courts. The firm manipulates vulnerable clients who think their only option is to keep paying OUTRAGEOUS fees because they're in too deep and don't have the legal knowledge to navigate the system. Hired Siemon for just a parenting plan adjustment, turned out to be one of the most expensive (and worthless) things in my life. I initially wanted to hire Mr Edwards as my attorney and a couple days later transitioned to Ramses Frangie which should have been my first red flag. From the beginning I was sold ideas that they would be able to help me out. We spent months back and forth and came up with a very generic parenting plan, which seemed to have taken a very short time to document. Then a lot of downtime in between, (they bill you for every last minute of their time) They include these "team meetings" each time and bill your card every time. Once mediation time came, I was more prepared then my representation time. I spoke more and he seemed to just be there, not really making any true changes. He was completely defeated by the opposition and seemed unprepared. These cases seems to be the least of their priority and I never really felt like they truly cared about my case. I honestly regret my decision and I really wish it was different. If you want to spent you hard earned money on a law firm that will not really care about your case and give you results, here it is. I had an extremely frustrating and very disappointing experience with this firm. I hired them to solve a simple child support modification due to a significant reduction in my personal income. I desperately needed assistance and all I got was a lot of red tape and excessive billing. I spent almost $20K over an entire year on this and did not event get a child support modification spreadsheet completed or a mediation hearing during all this time. I was forced to pull out and close it because I got no results and could no longer afford the month after month bills with nothing to show for it. My initial attorney (Ryan Post) was either let go or quit 8 months into my case and left with no explanation forcing me to start over or pick up the pieces with a fill in. They bill for group reviews, whether you want them or need them and I asked repeatedly to stop but this was ignored. Do yourself a favor and do not use this firm! read more

Absolutely the worst possible law firm I have ever used in my life. They will not speak to you by phone regardless of how much money you've paid them unless you're willing to pay them more. Any monies quoted you should at least be prepared for triple. The attorneys are insulting and treat you like you have absolutely zero intelligence. .If you try to disagree with what they are demanding they will surprise withdraw from your case and keep all your money. I hired this firm based on reviews from Google. The good reviews do not match my experience with them. And any bad reviews they get they dismiss with replies as the persons review is illegitimate. They were my lawyers from October 2022 to February 2023. During this time I paid over 10k to them. They filed for my divorce and that is it. My spouse was a drug addict and I was sending them pictures and documentation of everything that was going on. Many times I would have to send follow up emails because I would not always get a response or when I would get a response it would be very vague. Every email you send every document you sent you are charged for it. They hold several meetings about your case what seems like 2 times a month that they charge you for but you never get any information about this meetings or updates. From October to late December I had been sending documentation of my wife's drug use and they had meetings and charged me for such but after 2 and a half months and several meetings later they finally ask me if I could identify the drugs, which tells me they weren't even having meetings but charging me for them because the focal point of my divorce was her drug usage. My situation escalated by mid February and something needed to happen incase not able to leave my kids with my wife and there was an active CPS case against my wife. All this law firm told me was to wait a month for court. I had to get a new lawyer who requested an emergency hearing a week later, for some reason this was never an option to them for who knows why. My new lawyer recieved the file on my case and could not make heads or tails of anything they had requested or had documented. My wife's lawyer even told my new lawyer he wished I stayed with Siemens because they were under prepared and he would have had an easy time winning. i had to give them a 5 star review on google just to ensure inhotnmy retainer back. I think in total I ended up paying 13,000 and for the life of me cannot tell you what exactly I paid for. I was naive and trusted them to do their job and they did not. They would tell me I needed to pay for the final decree and all of these things and all that had happened was they filed for divorce we never made it to court. I paid my new lawyer 1/3 of what I paid them and had 3 court appearances won custody of my kids and was divorced. AVOID THIS FIRM. read more

Like many have said, I am begging you not to make the same mistake as others, and myself. My wife and I were living in the same house during our divorce and quickly came to realize I was being scammed by this law firm. Nickel and dimed to death, month over month with no face to face interaction, never meeting my actual lawyer. I was only able to speak with the associate Attourney face to face once. I asked multiple times what the overall outcome will be, best and worse case only to be told we already sent our counter claim. The counter claim literally said we acknowledge the petition for divorce, and agree assets needed to be separated. Repeatedly I asked what our next steps where just to be charge hundreds of dollars for reading my email, preparing to respond to email, and then charged for the email and never getting direct answers to my questions. I was charged for multiple people reading the same emails, Etc. please heed my advice, do not use this Attourney. Save your money and what respect you still have for strangers and their intentions. They give a sales pitch saying it won't be more than such and such, that this is an easy case. Pay close attention to the ambiguity in what they are saying!!! Unfortunately I didn't catch on soon enough and it was to late. My wife and I have no kids, and already had agreed upon most of what was to be settled. My wife who only paid a total of 3k, had multiple face to face visits with her Attourney, was treated with respect and didn't get this same BS. I ended up firing this law firm only to be charge again and again until I disputed the charges with my credit card company. Please heed the warnings, this law firm is a scam! For those of us who don't get a divorce every year, we are easy prey. Don't let them win. read more

Jeremy S- I had a very similar experience. My husband and I paid the $4500 retainer a week before christmas and never even spoke to a lawyer on the phone. By February, they were withdrawing from my case because they had used my entire retainer, apparently from email correspondence, and were requesting $4,500 MORE to continue to represent me. What did we get for $4500?? A 'TEAM' of lawyers that filed a petition to modify child support on my behalf with a standing order to not leave the state. This is not a joke. $4,500 to file paperwork. My ex responded by getting his own attorney, just in time for me to be left with no representation in a custody battle for my children. The worst part?? I find out in April about the standing order they filed in January to not leave the state after I brought my kids out of state to see my husband (He's in the Army and stationed outside of GA). They had 'sent it to the wrong email'. My husband LIVES OUT OF STATE and they failed to even inform me I couldn't leave the state??? There are so many issues with this office and their 'TEAM' of attorneys but, I trusted this firm to represent me and they left me to not only fight for custody of my children alone and with zero representation, now I could even face jail time for leaving the state under this standing order I wasn't even informed about. If I could leave zero stars I would. I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy. -- I'm sure they've deleted bad reviews on other platforms because I recently met 2 women going through divorces that hired the Siemon Law Firm in Cumming and both had terrible experiences as well. read more

Was told they could help me and that it wouldnt even take full retainer but yet every week asking for more money and nothing to show for it. They only care about making money and scamming people who are out working hard and trying to keep their family together. I dont recommend them and to find someone who actually cares and will help. Consulted and hired for a contempt case, was lead to believe the case would be much less than the required reserve money to start case. Before the first response to the plaintiff's attorney they had already used up all available funds and wanted me to then pay that amount again to continue on the case. Maybe I'm new to this but wow, way to get someone on the hook for a case that should have cost less than $2,500 and try to get them to pay you $7,000 with no way to regulate your spending. Total misrepresentation of the firm and the cost of their legal fees for the case. Not to mention that once I had my court date using the legal documents I had paid $3,500 dollars for the judge said that the legal statutes they claimed did not apply in my case. Therefore not only did I get taken for $3,500 dollars I also apparently purchased bad legal advice that did not help me with my case at all. If I were you I would keep looking for a more honest law firm that cares more about you and your family than how fast they can spend your hard earned money. read more
