The fact that it is also connected to the hospital is awesome as well. When you arrive there is a big information desk and a juice bar. You check in and then head to the locker rooms to get changed. The locker rooms are amazing. They have tv's in the mirrors, what? Inside the locker rooms they have a wet sauna, showers, a lounge area, and many lockers to use. The locker rooms are also connected to the pool. The pool has lanes to swim laps but also an area where you can use the weights they have in the pool. When you are ready to get your sweat on you head up stairs. They have everything you could imagine and the newest brands up stairs. They have tons of cardio equipment, a track (8 times around is a mile) and lots of free weights/workout machines. They have trainers on hand to help you out with whatever you have a question about. Enough about me, you want to know about Johnathan. This is a home based business. He has built a gym in his garage and that is where he works out his clients. He used to be a personal trainer for LA Fitness. When I was looking for a trainer I didn't want to go to a big gym or any corporate gym for that matter. Been there and done that. You're just a number and those places are just mills to churn and burn. I texted him on a Saturday and he texted me back making an initial consultation the following Monday. We went over everything and he took my measurements. He also is a massage therapist (myofacial release) and explained that he requires all his new clients to get a massage. He does this to see where their structural weak points are. Fast forward three months and I have dropped inches. We do a measurement of hips, neck, arms, calf's etc at the end of the month to track progress. His workouts are unusual. He takes a simple exercise but adds a twist to it. He's always trying to confuse your body so that it can't adapt to anything. If he sees you breezing through a particular exercise he'll change it up just a little so your brain & body have to adjust. Very personal and changed his schedule to fit yours. You're also pay 1/3 of what you will at another gym. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done.
