Initially, my wife and I were told that EOS does not take Medicare Advantage accounts. Then, a few weeks later a staff member said, sure we take any Medicare card. They said, "We bill your Advantage Plan directly. Then, after coming in on an appointment I was asked for my debit card! by a staff member! They told me that I could not use the gym equipment w/o a debit card. So, at night my wife and I went in and they said, you have a free membership with your Medicare card. (Free with your Medicare Advantage card). So then, I said that I cancelled my membership. No, the staff member said that we both have "Free" memberships with our Medicare card. Training is included along with movie room, spa, and pool plus any equipment. In summary: It seems their staff members need better training about their programs! read more

Please be careful when signing up for this gym. They use deceptive tactics in their endeavors to have you sign up. I have silver sneakers which they accept, an insurance benefit for seniors. Was told we needed training to be able to use their equipment we explained we did not want to pay anything as silver sneakers was a free benefit of our insurance. No problem. They would use a prepaid 500.00 dollar card also provided by insurance . Unbeknownst to us that card should have not been accessed for that service. Now they have used all these monies and are now billing me for services l have not used since July as l have had a knee injury. Have repeatedly tried to contact gym even contacting their main office in Texas trying to resolve this issue. I keep getting shunted back and forth from people that do not know nor care how to help me. Very disappointed. Please beware. read more

Please Austin Greene., contact me. The EOS will not assist me. Communication and trust is very poor there. Can someone please call me at this number 727-364-6333. The Gym is a MAJOR ISSUE. They are inexperienced and very unprofessional. Horrible. Pymnts for coach training have been drastically over-charged and charges are fraudulent. They said they would stop all charges for a month so it could get cleared up. We have tried to get to a competent person in management without any success. The annual fees have been charged twice in just the last 2 months, and they are creating a huge mess on the credit card. My personal training sessions are no longer correct, or consistent. They just charge what they want. I would love to get this all clear, as I was paying for a trainer for 3 hours a week. It is such a mess, I am ready to leave this GYM. I signed up for the Black card membership last October during their one-day presale kick off with Samantha Brown. I was charged $10.69 at the day of signing and will be charged 74.89 at the end of this month now that they have opened. This includes the $21.40 a month charge with a 53.49 annual fee. The one day only sale also included free towel service which my husband was excited about. In total for the year, it will cost $320.98 for a spectacular gym! The Black card gives access to other EOS locations, which can be beneficial when traveling. If there is another EOS gym opening, I would highly recommend following so you can get in on their one-day presale. I almost joined the Lutz location when they opened and kicked myself that I didn't but am very happy I got in on this Hudson location. The towel service is $10 a month and there was an option to add it on for a penny during the sale but my husband happened to miss checking off the box. Thus, it didn't show as a separate line item later. The staff said it was no problem and it was included in the package. However, later we noticed it wasn't showing up. Since I had originally signed up with Sam, I reached back out to her to see if she could help me. This was after speaking to several different people over the phone and in person to have this fixed. The system is global, so it wasn't an easy fix since it was included, and the gym wasn't opened yet. Sam was awesome as she reached out to her manager, and they contacted corporate, and we now have towel service. She went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. This goes a long way showing her excellent work ethic and character. People say a lot of things: I will look into it, I will get back to you, I will get it fixed...and many times nothing comes of it. Thus, I am so very thankful for her caring and consistent follow up and excellent communication. This gym has almost every piece of equipment or piece of machine you would ever want, if not a variety to work out the same muscle/muscle groups. There is plenty of space between the machines and areas for walking and working out, so you don't feel cramped and on top of others. There are different free weight areas, TRX, cardio machines, a separate room for recording if you want to grab pics for social media posts, water refilling station, movie theater to do cardio, areas for stretching and so much more. Some of the machines are smart machines so you can check in with the desk or coaches to create a profile and get a wrist fob so you can track your workouts. It all ties into the EOS app. The pool has lines for laps. Not sure if they will have an open swim in the schedule or not. The hot tub has a timer for the air bubbles and a chair for assisting exit and entry for those who might need it. The women's bathroom has a swimsuit spinner which is AWESOME. Not a wet soaking suit in the gym bag after a quick whirl. I haven't been into the sauna but that is just off the side in the locker room as well. There are group classes that you can sign up for using the app. The classes open up for registration about a day in advance. I heard someone say 26 hrs before but I am not sure if that is right. I went to my first Body Balance class which was a combo of Pilates, Yoga and Tai Chi. There were over 30 ppl in the room and we were next to each other but I didn't feel cramped. The room is large with an equipment storage space off of it which has mats, weights, and everything needed for the group classes. There is a childcare room for an additional monthly fee, an area to buy protein, supplements, drinks, snacks, and swag. There are a variety of people of all ages and fashions which is great to see. A really nice well-rounded community that has been friendly. There are lots of coaches working with clients which gives off a great vibe. With the amount of people using the gym I was a bit disappointed to see how much cleaning it already needs. First from the general construction (I can see it having worked in construction) and two from the general turn over of members. I've seen this slip in other gyms as many places don't "make" money from having cleaning staff vs having coaches who sign up clients but we will soon see. The showers, bathrooms, and pool areas could use regular cleaning throughout the day. I am a stickler for cleanliness as no one wants to be on the floor doing pushups, crunches or stretches while breathing in and looking at dust bunnies. The lockers are half sized with a top and a bottom space. You would need to bring your own lock. There are lockers with locks in the common area that are smaller cubbies if you need or want to drop a few things off. Happy fun exercising! First, the gym itself is good. The equipment is up to date, there are some machines I have not found at other gyms. But stay away from the personal trainer program. The trainers are fine. But the program and management are disorganized and unprofessional. First, getting set up with a feels like negotiating on a used car lot. The training manager mislead me about the terms of the contract. I did two training sessions. Then I showed up for two sessions only to find out they were canceled and nobody told me. The third time this happened, a manager told me I could train with a different trainer and then decide whether I wanted to continue with a trainer at all. I decided these guys are too chaotic and unreliable, so I'd opt out. The lead training manager, A.J., told me I couldn't quit the program because I'd signed a contract. I told him they have not supplied the training I contracted for so the contract wasn't valid. I said I'd just quit the gym and go back to Planet Fitness. He said I couldn't do that because of the training contract. I was insistent. So he said he'd "talk to corporate" and follow up with me. He didn't follow up. I've read another review that described this guy as "useless." I talked to a friend who works there, who agreed the guy is generally unhelpful. So I emailed the CEO and the regional vice president. The regional VP intervened (she was very helpful and apologetic), got me a refund for my unused training sessions and got me out of the personal trainer program. In sum, the gym itself is good, the equipment is good. The personal trainer piece is incredibly poorly managed and unreliable - total amateur hour. Stay away from it. Lots of out of order equipment. Not enough of the more popular equipment. I go in there with a specific workout in mind and plan a, b, and c cannot be done because there is not enough equipment. I've talked to them a few different times about their classes, they don't seem to care. They have a standard online booking for classes...however they just let whoever is standing by the door into the class and fill the space beyond capacity making it unsafe and uncomfortable to do the classes. Some pretty easy fixes imo, if they would focus on maintaining existing gyms instead of using all effort and energy to open as many new gyms as possible. read more

They advertise and tell you that the pool is heated. Well, I've been in it many times and froze my butt off..Trust me when I say it's cold. It's not good for arthritis. The ladies' showers are filthy. Hair all over. Staff is like a kindergarten. I have posted this several times to no avail. 6 was at the pool, not only cold but filthy. Sand and dirt on the bottom and black stuff floating in pool . Also, I am tired of having long hair stuck to my body. I observed several people with long hair and a man with a long beard. I talked to someone at this gym and said that I wanted to try the gym before I make a decision of giving my banking information. I offered to pay for a day pass. The girl Brook told me to come to the gym and she would give me a day pass. I drove 25 minutes to be told that I would have to sit with a sales person and that there were no day passes. Gym is nice and clean but stay away feom the personal training. Its a scam. Signed up for lessons and its a continual subscription type where they continue to charge you and the process to cancel is a run around. Website says to cancel send an email. Did that but continied to gwt charged. Went in person to cancel they told me I needed a doctors note. Did that, and they still kept charging me. Had 60 sessions in total from 1st email trying to cancel charged and was told I have 1 year to claim them. Guess what? They didnt honor that either. Went i.n before year was ckose to being up and was told I only had 1 session. They have no problem stealing your money but apparently its a problem to honor what you pay for. Stay away from training. It was a good at first. The movie theater as you worked out was awesome idea. It was super over whelming . The machines were always busy as there were so many people 24 hours a day. Seemed like never a down time. The pool was crazy busy all the time. You can't swim if there's a class going on the pool was not big enough. The hot tub just didn't feel clean to me. My biggest gripe is the sales calls. I told them about losing weight with a trainer in the past. After that I got calls several times a day. When I said I was not interested it was all ' Why not?' ' money? time ?' Good grief I said no nicely! I was constantly stopped by their sales team every time I went in. Seeing how its going? and if I wanted a trainer? I did take them up on their one free training session. Huge mistake, After my session. The trainer left and In steps the sales person with the sales pitch. So I left and blocked them from charging to my card anymore and blocked their calls. read more

Several people have recognized that it seems like it's heavy chlorine smell and breathing. Then when they said it separate entity will send them an email and one of the employees recognize they couldn't open the door, then when I just read about that is not cool because that can do respiratory damage especially for people that has asthma. The fans might circulate the air but I don't see any ventilation in there and that's unfortunate because I just read that chlorine can do damage and give you bad troubles especially if you have asthma. Worst experience. I have been trying to cancel my membership since April, gave plenty of notice of cancel and still in July they are trying to take money from me. I keep being told that my membership is canceled but I keep being charged and then find out it is still not cancelled in the system. Now they just tried to charge me again but double the amount. They are good at selling the first day even though there were a lot of things not working "for now". They pressure you. They lied. Apparently this isn't the first time this has happened to someone that tried to cancel during their free trial period. They told me (many times) that I could cancel within 14 days and I wouldn't get charged anything but that I would be returned the initial fee even! I went back in less than a week to cancel (before using any services) and they said 3 days was the grace period but Matt (initial seller) claimed he told me and that is not accurate since I asked many times For any catch etc. They said even though I could cancel that I would get charged a yearly and a monthly fee still and that they couldn't do anything about it. Matt was less than professional and laughed while walking away and while looking towards me from his desk. We asked for higher ups and the lady was nicer but still said her hands were tied. I tried to contact corporate as suggested and it was not easy at all. It's not often I give five stars, but this is well earned. The gym itself is clean, pretty and tons of machines, but can I just say the personal trainers there are incredible. I had gotten rooked at my previous gym for a personal trainer who just said ,,"do ten" and got on his phone, so I was sooo skeptical. My trainer was Darrell and I was so impressed . In the short time we spent he imparted such knowledge and really worked me out like CRAZY. Not only will I take his knowledge with me forever, but as soon as I can I'm working him in. While I had a great experience with my own personal trainer, I would recommend anyone who hasn't joined to stay far away from this gym. I went through the proper channels to cancel my personal training and monthly memberships and am still being charged. I've contacted the gym and they just skirt around the issue and keep charging me for services I can't use since I am no longer in the area. I think they may be overwhelmed by the sheer volume of members trying to cancel, but I have no sympathy for them if predatory billing is their only way of sustaining a business. read more

It looks like a nice facility. Unfortunately, they aren't about fairness and probably isn't a place I would recommehd. They are scheduled to open in one week in Hudson. I was at Eos only two weeks (14 days) ago and was given a price. I quit Planet fitness, only to go back to Eos today to sign up and they would not honor what they told me 14 days ago. I was in the system, so they knew I had been there. In fact, they raised the price 25% (in 14 days), plus they added in a join fee, that wasn't required. So, as nice a facility as they may have, on principle, I would not recommend them. They are likely to do all kinds of unethical things, if they can't honor an "introductory price", even though they still haven't opened. BUYER BEWARE. I will be surprised if they are still in business in a year. read more

We visited the EOS Hudson gym with the incentive of a reduced membership for Pasco County Schools employees. Per your staff's suggestion, we signed up for a family plan. They never explained to us that we were going to be charged two memberships a month plus $58 annually for each membership. There are only two adults in our household. We tried to talk to them to explain it was a mistake, and we were told there was nothing they could do, as they are corporate rules. We attempted to talk to the manager who supposedly "was on a meeting". She was sitting there refusing to talk to us and with a not-so-friendly attitude. We attempted to renegotiate with the staff, but we were told that to change the membership we would have to be charged again another membership plus an annual fee. Even though we like the gym, the negative attitude of the staff plus their poor customer service and the excessive pricing, we decided to cancel the membership. Even though many staff are very young, their customer service skills could be better. Maybe if they are able to listen to people and meet them halfway through, not as many people cancel. read more

I signed up for this gym online. I was very excited about this gym coming to our neighborhood. I went on the second day it was open. I did my work out and was feeling very good. I started walking to get some spray to clean up the machine. I walked over to get the spray bottle and fell. There's a black bar that they have. I guess it covers the wiring from the machines but it was black. It wasn't even a stand out color like to be aware like yellow red or any bright color to be caution I tripped over it, and I fell on my knee. as soon as I got up, I knew there was something was very wrong with my knee. I walked to the front desk to explain what happened I made a report I was in severe pain. I have went to the doctor and they had to do x-rays and scans in my knee. They told me my malicious, and both sides were torn. Also, my ACL and PCL was torn just from this fall. I had to go to a orthopedic specialists to figure out how bad and severe this was it was pretty bad. I have to do physical therapy three times a week and I am now possibly getting surgery I contacted them to let them know what happened and they said will freeze your account for three months that's it no sorry no nothing. I also asked if someone in the regional can call. Walk in this knee. I had to use crutches, a knee brace and in severe pain all the time only one person called name Austin district manager. Left a message I called back and been trying to call back since I've been leaving multiple messages with Austin. Also customer service also the better bit business bureau because it got so bad this is just getting ridiculous not one person called or see how I was doing. This is been three months. I went yesterday to the gym to cancel my membership and the young lady in the front desk told me that Austin is here that I will make sure he will call you and I will call you to to let you know what's going on with your account. so now it's Thursday no one ever called so I am very upset about this whole situation. Three months later not one person called not one person apologize at all. I have multiple medical bills that I have to pay for. I have to pay for physical therapy and so on and not one sorry. Happy to have this gym closer to my house than Lutz, but unfortunately there seems to be quite a drop-off from the Lutz location to the new one in Hudson. Have had a couple issues with very unprofessional employees in Hudson as well as the general lack of concern in housekeeping and maintenance. The wipes for wiping down the massage chairs are empty about half the time recently as well as at least 1 of the 5 massage chairs seems to broken at least half the time sometimes the same chair has been down for many days at a time., I have been noticing some of the other equipment down for extended periods of time. Was a frequent visitor at Lutz and they always seemed to be on top of every such as keeping the wipe downs readily stocked and getting equipment up and running at a much quicker pace. Hopefully the Lutz location shares some of their best practices, protocols and better employee training with the Hudson location before it gets a bad name? read more

This is a newer location with great amenities! It has all of the free weights, machine, and cardio equipment you could need . They also have recovery rooms with massage beds, compression boots, and massage guns. The gym even has a lap pool, recording area for any content recording, and a cardio movie theater . There's a lot more to this place and it's already my favorite. I've had memberships at numerous gyms across the country so trust me when I say that the value is way more than what you pay for. I came in earlier than an appointment I had scheduled... stood around for 25 mins as 2 front desk persons ignored me and helped everyone else that walked through the door. I felt as though because I didn't walk in with designer fitness gears from head to toe and looking buff and toned ... I was disregarded even after probably 1:45 hr, a tour and others helping taylor and price a fitness plan.. I still didn't feel comfortable .. I am 64 and this was my 1st time ever trying to start a gym membership.... I believe it was because of the way I was made to feel from entering.... during my time whilst I was being ignored I circled just on the backside of the front desk and (Ashley.. I think) who had not noticed me for at 25mins suddenly came and ushered me to the front side of counter at that time I finally got to tell her I had an appt with Chris. @ that time they sought to find a replacement for him.. since I was early. *** Note the gym was beautiful.It also had a sauna room which I was something I wanted. The PT who spoke to was wonderful... and I would love if I could set private lessons with him..... but that initial SNUB ... left me feeling like I wouldn't feel comfortable there... so I found a different gym.... that I felt was a better fit for me... Less about posing and more about getting fit.. I just needed the right exercise plan and gym to be healthier.. as I have metabolic syndrome and needed proper exercise routine to control it..My advice please don't make perspective clients feel like they don't belong or fit into your gym. read more

Signed up months before the gym opened. Was offered a few special deals. Purchased a one time introductory 30min consultation with a trainer for $19.99 and for an additional $1 membership for my husband. My husband refused and did not want to register with EOS, Couldn't convince my husband to go, he belongs to another gym. The gym opens Feb 21st, my monthly membership charged to my account along with $180, within the next 2 weeks 3 more charges of $180. No true explanation how they were charged to my account. Supposedly when I was offered the 1 time 30min intro session for $19.99 the rep without my knowledge added 4 training sessions at $180 dollars a piece. I was never ever told that!!! I felt scammed. No one could fix this problem. Adding to my frustration I now need both knee replacement due to osteoarthritis deterioration. I requested to cancel my membership and a refund to what they stole out of my account without my knowledge or authorization for training sessions. Passing on plethora of messages to the higher ups, Plethora of emails, Dirrell Ross Fitness Manager, Carley Sustair, Brooke Baynham, Jeff More, Lydia Haskell. Tons of phone calls, Ryan front desk, Jonathan front desk, Alana front desk, Logan front desk, Dianne front desk and much more throughout the entire month of March and April with no resolution what so ever. Received an email from Dirrell fitness Manager on March 21st stating that they received the cancelation request on March 14th "(Incorrect way before)" and that they require a doctor's note. Called the doctor's office, they wrote the note and I sent the note right back to Dirrell on the same day March 21st. Per Dirrell he would forward this to the General manager. On March 25th received another email stating if refund approved I would only be refunded for funds from March 21st moving forward. What an injustice due to all of the 4 $180 dollars were charged before March 21st. It is now May 16th and have not received a penny. Mind you I have not crossed the gyms doors since they opened and have been charged to my account $874.91 dollars.Tell me if this is not bad customer service scamming customers. All of this just for signing up for 1 30min consultation session for $19.99. Some one has to do what's right for the love of God, someone has to do what's right! This cannot be left unaccounted for and swept under the rug. Please EOS help me with this matter...P.S.Called EOS Hudson again on May 16th to check the status of my refund. Spoke to Marissa at front desk. Again explained all above. To my no surprise nothing was done. All notes under my account, yet it was just there. So frustrated, seriously I need therapy due to all of this. No follow-up no nothing. Come to find out from Marissa all of the PT sessions that I unknowingly paid for are available at anytime even if I had canceled my membership. In reading these other posts I realize that EOS really doesnt care about the clients they have. This is all about their kiddie corral they employ that have no concept of customer service. EOS is hurting themselves by employing all these younger kids. You may think it makes you look good but it doesnt. They have no concept how to run a business, they know nothing about customer service and they certainly dont care. I for one dont understand how someone so young could be your general manager of a place when every time I have called and asked for Brooke she's not available. Is this your idea of customer service? If it is you people are only going to make people realize this place is horrible. Filthy according to most of the posts I've read.
