Such a great, locally owned store! The Sewing Center has machines, fabric, buttons, notions and more! I love the rotating window displays and have enjoyed seeing the changes to the store since the ownership change a few years ago. I appreciate the knowledge of the staff and their willingness to answer questions and give advice. I'm hoping to join one of their many classes next year! read more

My go-to for all of my sewing needs. The staff are friendly, helpful, and masked! They have awesome fabrics to choose from, are more than happy to answer all of my questions, and guide me to other shops or sources if they don't happen to have what I'm looking for. I just wish they were open later as most of my sewing (and mistakes) happen in the evenings. read more

The new address is 2407 West 13th Street North just west of the corner of 13th and North McLean Boulevard near the Copper Oven restaurant- they moved recently and the Internet hasn't caught up yet! I brought my mom to The Sewing Center as we passed through town; she still raves about it! They are friendly, customer focused and very helpful. Everything you could want in a sewing store. I was so happy we stopped there instead of passing by. If I lived closer than three hours away, I would bring her here every week; but we will still swing by every month! read more

I love the sewing center and have been coming to this for at least 15 years. I live in Nebraska, but feel the education and personal service is fantastic. They have done a great job working on and conditioning my machines. Good honest people. read more

HORRIBLE service. I took my machine there because I needed help putting in the bobbin case. The gentleman was able to easily put that in. At that point my machine WAS working. He recommended that I have my machine serviced and have the needle adjusted because it was bumping. The machine still was working despite this. I left the machine there and later received a call that my machine was un repairable. They wouldn't even put it back together to be in the condition that I left it in. Told me that they would have to charge me to put it back together. I picked up my machine and it was in shambles. All the parts were taken out and they just handed me a box of parts. So I went in with a machine that worked and was just going to get serviced and left with a machine that is completely broken. The owner did not seem to care about the situation and was not willing to do anything to rectify the situation. read more
