    I tried to send my earnest money check overnight FedEx to Barbara Lewis United Country American…read moreRealty, Barbra affirmed she would be there to receive it, yet the FedEx driver's records show that she was not at the office. I spoke with Fedex supervisor for Doniphan area and was informed that the Fedex driver was a 12 year expert driver, and knows exactly where United Country American Realty is. This driver remembers the attempt to deliver my earnest money check to this Company, and the business was CLOSED!! Anyone interested in verifying that, I will get you in touch with Fedex supervision. If I would have relied on Barbra, then I would have run out of time and my purchase agreement would have expired. Barbara had already told me that I would essentially lose my spot to purchase the property!! Barbra tried to explain that away by saying that she had talked to me first and found out that I had already given the earnest money to the Real Estate Attorney then she left the office early before the FedEx driver got there. That just doesn't add up, my phone records show that when I called Barbra to tell her about my submitting the earnest money by credit card to the Real estate Attorney, by that time FedEx records show time and date stamp that FedEx driver had already tried to deliver my overnight envelope to Barbara's office and no one was there!! Thankfully I was able to contact and send my earnest money directly to the real estate Attorney who was handling that part of the closing. I thank God that I was then able to move forward and close on the property!! Barbara emphasized that she had other offers on the property! It appeared to me that she was intentionally going to oust me by not being available for FedEx to deliver my envelope with my earnest money check.. Sometimes people fall into prejudicial shenanigans which results in transgression of God's law's. We hope they will have a change of heart and repent before it's too late.. Another lie is what Mendy the owner said about the signs on my truck were not mine, and that I had stolen them. Well that's just not so, I will prove to anyone at any time that I have the receipts when the signs were made brand new for my truck. Also the phone number on my truck signs have the phone number of the Church that I'm an Evangelist for, and no one has ever called that number and asked about those signs?? I also talked with one of the leaders of the Doniphan Church of Christ, he asured me that no one had called their Church about any signs. The gall and audacity of Mendy and her associates to use a feminist slurr assertion charge against me that was made up, is only trying to muddy the waters over the biblical debate that they envoked, and then curtailing their diligence, with not being able to back it up. The attitude and tone of speech in our dispute was basically the same back and forth between us, even though Barbra at times was very sharp with some of her discourses addressed at me. I was told by Mendy to stop scrutinizing over religious issues, she never told me to just "get out of their office".. That's clearly obvious, because I continued and carried on with my part in the current business contract that I was engaged in with them. There was not a sudden stoppage in our Real estate deal as Mendy advocates there was! The Lord commands that logical arguments are set forth for an examination and rebuttals from scriptures, in order to locate and prove truth! 1 Thess 5:21... In Isaiah chapter one God say's : "Come now let us reason together "... Unfortunately Mendy is lacking in much biblical knowledge on this topic. So she being defenceless, resorted to name calling and unjustly trying to smear my exemplified Christian conduct, rather than , what saith the scriptures..

    If I could give this place negative stars I would. First off if you buy a home from here they have…read moreyou pay more than what it would cost to rent a place for lot rent. So what is the actual benefit of owning your own place if you are paying over 1800 a month between lot rent and mortgage payments. I guess China owns the land around here and we have to pay the tariff price even though it is on country. When you complain to corporate about things they just have the pro manager call you. Ummmm don't you think that is why someone contacts a corporate office cause the manager isn't doing anything to make a solution to the problem. All the manager says in a roundabout way not my problem that is what it is. You think after being somewhere for over 5 years that they would work with a long term home owner. I can rent a home from here 600 to 800 dollars cheaper than owning it. If they want to buy my home fine I have my price for it and won't budge from it. For home owners they don't offer any services for you. Other than if you don't do what they want they threaten to charge you for things. The community pool yeah get there is one. but it is cloudy and dirty. I have seen lakes cleaner than this pool. Not to mention all the drug deals, people breaking into everything, maintenance going around not doing anything. Buying a home from here and moving here has been the worst mistake ever.

    I would not recommend HomeRiver Property Management based on my experience…read more From the beginning, I clearly stated verbally, by email, and on their intake form that I wanted a 2-year lease. When they sent the lease, it was written for 1 year, and I had to push to get a corrected lease signed. I also requested property inspections every 6 months. After 9 months with no inspection, I had to follow up myself, which is what finally triggered them to schedule one. The inspection photos were very poor quality and not useful for evaluating the condition of the property. In one of those inspection photos, I noticed a cat in the unit--HomeRiver missed it entirely. It then took them over 5 months to get the tenant's pet paperwork completed and begin collecting the additional pet rent. I was told twice in writing that I would receive retroactive pet rent, but they never collected it and I was never compensated for that lost income. There was also damage to one of my garage doors after a tow truck incident at the property. HomeRiver initially asked whether I wanted to pay to replace the second door so both would match. After I insisted they pursue the tow company's insurance so I could be made whole, the tow company agreed to replace both doors. This should have been handled proactively by the management company. Another frustrating example involved a dishwasher issue. HomeRiver sent a repair technician and attempted to charge me $200 just to inspect an old dishwasher and tell me it needed replacement. They then quoted over $1,200 to replace it. I declined, called Lowe's myself, and purchased and installed a new dishwasher for under $600. Overall, I felt I had to do a significant amount of the property management myself despite paying HomeRiver to manage the property. My experience was marked by poor follow-through, missed details, inflated maintenance costs, and lack of proactive management. If you're considering HomeRiver, I would strongly encourage you to interview multiple property management companies and check references carefully before signing on. Lisa Springer

I was frustrated with the process because their online schedule provider asked for a payment to view the property, requested my drivers license, my photo, and then my SS# and after all of that would not give me the access to view the home I requested. After multiple tries I finally got ahold of a person, she is the same one on the voice recording. I explained what had happened... I apologized for being so frustrated and she comes and and says, "well you put your SS# info in, no one made you do it". I COULDN'T BEIEVE IT! In sales the first thing a deaccent salesperson learns is that when a client is frustrated you validate their feelings... "I can see how the process is so frustrating. I am sorry that that happened." and then you go on to explain and see how you can resolve the situation... Basic manners. Basic humanity. Basic common sense! Terrible customer service!!!!
