As we entered, the place looked friendly and well maintained including dining area and more. We were soon established and when we requested different position the personnel attended to it without hustle. The appetizers were also fresh and tasting and offered a good introduction to the meal. Good country home cooked food. Everything here is made fresh in house. We went around noon and the service was great for a party of 9. I had the fish tacos husband had the southwest chicken salad. A couple of wraps and chicken strips at our table. Everything tasted good, I took off one star because my fish was a little salty and I would have liked to have a better description of the type of fish on the menu, which was catfish. Very well pleased. Appetizer was split between fried mushrooms and fried pickles. They were very good. Could have had an extra piece or two. I had the 12oz ribeye. It was cooked to perfection with very little gristle. I'm not a real Big Mac & cheese type of guy, but I'd read a review that said theirs is really good, so why not? Glad I did! I believe they use white Cheddar. What ever they use, it's superb! They were out of cheesecake (my go-to dessert). So I had the coconut cream pie and was glad I did. First impression: clean, even the bathroom. We were seated in a booth that had a cool draft. When we asked to move, the waitress was very sweet and accommodating. My family and I were passing through Kingfisher and saw that The Shed was ranked #1 on Yelp. It definitely did not disappoint! The fried pickles were so crispy and came as whole pickle slices, as opposed to the pickle chips you'd usually get most other places. They are the perfect blend of sour with a rich crispy batter. The side of ranch tastes homemade as well! My wife ordered the Shed Bowl, and said it was delicious! The fried chicken was moist and savory. The gravy tasted like grandma just made it in the kitchen! It was such a comfort food item! I really enjoyed the pulled pork potato. At first I was worried that it did t come with and BBQ sauce, but upon first taste I quickly realized I definitely didn't need it. The pulled pork was so tender and moist. Combined with some caramelized onions, gooey melted cheese, and some homemade ranch from the pickles, this was a fantastic meal! New I would like to start with the service. Once I entered the restaurant I was greeted pretty well. I had informed the young lady that I was picking up an order. She immediately went to the back to let someone know. This is where the issue for me happened. Mind you I was still standing by the front entrance The waitress Martha came from back with my food in her hand and placed it on a table that was no where near me and as she proceeded toward me gave me my ticket to pay and verbally told me the amount. Walked off without letting me know where I could pay which I found to be very rude and unprofessional. I stood there for a bit and once I seen the other young lady I asked her where could I pay and she helped me. Once Martha finished chatting with the table she was at. As she walked by me, she asked if the other girl helped me. There clearly needs to be some training on customer service, because Martha isn't giving it to everyone! As for the wrap it was very salty. Could have used less salt. Don't think I will be back or referring this place in kingfisher to anyone! read more

We just got into town and have seen this place packed for days now. We decided to stop in for lunch at 12 on Saturday. They sat us immediately and got our drinks out quick. We ordered fried pickles as appetizer and they were PERFECT! Super crispy... ya know the only real way to eat a fried pickle ‍ lol the ol man and me got pulled pork sandwiches and they were phenomenal. The only complaint we had was the bread on the bottom was soggy. The meat was great and the sauce.... well that sauce will make ya wanna kiss your mother in law Our daughter got the pulled pork baked potato and said it was awesome. We came in for dinner tonight at 6:30pm and had one waitress take our drink orders and then disappeared. A different waitress brought us our drinks. The initial waitress continued to ignore us and walk right past us. At this point it's 7:00pm and our waitress who told us "she'd be right back to take our order" and was continuing to blatantly ignore us had begun hiding in the back. We finally waved down a different waitress to put our food order in. We put our food order in and continued to wait until 7:50pm when we finally tabbed out and decided to leave. The service was absolutely horrible. I know most places are short staffed but that makes zero excuse for ignoring people who 1) come into your restaurant 2) you don't even take the 5 seconds to apologize for the wait. We honestly don't know how much longer we'd be sitting there if we didn't decide to get up and leave. When we walked over to the bar to tab out the guy has zero care and didn't apologize once. His only response was "I can only take off the food you ordered and haven't received and nothing else." At this point we didn't even care and wanted to be able to leave and go eat food elsewhere because it was 7:50 and we had yet to have dinner. If you want this restaurant to survive I suggest taking the advice that so many people have left in reviews both here and on Facebook. read more

You may or may not care because looking at reviews, this has been a consistent problem.... BUT we had an absolutely terrible experience at your Kingfisher location tonight. To sum it up, after an HOUR AND A HALF of waiting, including 45 minutes for our appetizer, and one refill of our drinks that we flagged a random waitress down for... I went up to the bar and paid for what we had and left. No more wasting my time waiting to have the worst service of my life. Our waitress straight up ignored us, as we watched her hide away in the kitchen, wait on another table the same size as ours (4- nothing crazy) and bring them food, extra utensils, etc without even one more check in to see how we were. When she brought us our appetizer she had not even realized that we had asked another girl for refills and to take our order which again we did not wait for as it had been an hour since our order was placed. I have been to your Weatherford location a couple of times and have had great experience. But this location needs help. I am a daughter of restaurant owners- I understand staff shortages... but that is not your problem here. The service management and customer service just straight up sucks. No one apologized, no one came and said " sorry it's a busy night", NOTHING. We were ignored in your restaurant and considering you have a sign in your entrance that states that the opposite is your goal- I suggest you take a look into repairing your service. read more

However the atmosphere is inviting and fun and the staff is very friendly and do their best to make sure all your needs are met. It's clean and the music is good. Intend to give it a few more tries. Really good chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and salad bar. My wife had the pork chops with salad bar and okra which when I tasted the pork chop was outstanding. Where to begin. Weeks ago, and the experience has stayed with me all this time but not in a good way. We arrived to be ignored by all the wait staff and after being sat down, eventually a waitress came over and said "this isn't my station but I see no one has taken your order yet so how can I help you" after we sat for another 10 minutes without being noticed. We ordered steak and my companions were ordered done, mine medium. Their steak was done alight. Leather. Mine. Was raw. I returned my plate to be cooked properly and they brought it back 3 minutes later in the Same condition only having been moved to a new smaller plate. The prices were high for the quality of food and service. I've been to this restaurant before, and the experience was equally as disappointing. The sad thing is. The owner who Im sure are delightful people, just obtained another restaurant in town called the Stack that sadly has its own list of issues. They have a pharmacy as well so it's good that they can provide medical supplies for after, if you need it. This is another example of a monopoly in a small town, where lack of competition causes standards to slip. You won't starve, but you need to bring your pocket book and be prepared to be treated as a nuisance rather than their bread and butter. After reading other reviews I see the owner sees these and has stopped responding or making changes to the same issues patrons are experiencing after years. How sad. I wasn't real impressed with the coleslaw it was more sauce than cabbage. The food was good as was the service. The restaurant was clean. The best place to eat around! The atmosphere is quaint & inviting. The staff is kind & very accommodating! Working in Okarche, there's not really too many options to eat, so we've been driving into Kingsfisher for lunch on Fridays. There's a good variety of salads, wraps, sandwiches & LOTS of down home cooking. Would highly recommend the taco salad, it comes with smashed Doritos, Catalina dressing & a dollop of sour cream. read more

Catering food belongs to a catering business and not in a restaurant. Using precooked meat from another place is not how a business is supposed to operate. I'll never eat there or their other restaurant where the owners use the same shenanigans as to fooling people that it's made on the premises. The staff can't grasp the fact that it's poorly designed and operated. The look is dated on the inside but nice on the outside. This was our first trip here and it was ok. I enjoyed The Red Shed special but it didn't taste like an alcoholic beverage. I asked for another one but it never came :(. I had the 6oz sirloin with Mac and cheese and a salad. My husband ordered the catfish with mashed potatoes and gravy. I ordered my steak medium and it came out super well done. Really hard to eat :( my Mac and cheese was super cold and I had to send it back. The catfish was good but the gravy had a funny taste. We also had chips and queso and the chips and queso were good. I really liked this place. It's bright and clean. We had good attentive service. My grilled chicken sandwich was amazing. If I had been by myself I would have given 5 stars. My husband and my daughter had street tacos. One had the chicken and the other had the steak. They both said the meat was really dry and not very good. So the atmosphere is really cute, kind of crazy to say but it's like shed, meets a bar, meets a boutique!!!! That's the only way I can describe it!! BtW it can get kind of noisy so be aware.... Next we tried the open face BLT which well was underwhelming, I'm sorry it's just the truth...although the bacon was thick, crispy and cooked perfect..it's just mehhh, also the French fries are thick cut and seasoned perfect!! So finally we went with the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy with fried Okra. OKAY so remember this is only week 2, I know this restaurant has amazing potential but they are just to busy to keep up at this point.
