Shoppes At Blackstone Valley -- 70 Worcester Providence Turnpike / Route 146, Millbury                             Complex Pic
    Brandon K.

This is a great complex. Huge. As it says in the description (at the bottom of this page), this is most definitely the largest shopping complex in Massachusetts. Definitely true. SO many traffic cops, which is good..... they need these cops in the complex close to my house! Yet, traffic can still be slow, luckily for some reason I had no problems all day, I parked 5 times -- only waiting 1-3 minutes each time - so I guess I had better luck than other shoppers. Kohls to Barnes & Noble is tough, tons of traffic, and it is always better to go through Party City, and Babies R Us, for much less traffic - so I will do that from now on, and I suggest others do as well. & SO many choices for lunch, or if you're looking for ANYTHING they're bound to be somewhere throughout the complex, and if not, there is an AWESOME Walmart Supercenter in Whitinsville!

The most fun place to spend time with friends. This place holds so many memories and I don't know what I would do if it wasn't there.

I find myself a lot of times just going here to look and am always really impressed with how they arrange and decorate and then inevitable almost always fall in love with something and have to buy it. Must stop for whenever we are in the area. The ultimate value is in your life improvement for just walking in and getting the nice things that you cant find other places and that improve the quality of your life. The staff is friendly and reminds me more of people that are doing what they would want to do as a hobby most of the time,

Honestly, if I could sneak in and live in the store or have them decorate my house the same way I'd be all in. Walking inside feels like an instant hug for your soul--comforting, serene, and kind of magical. I spent ages marveling at the jaw-dropping selection: lush succulents, colorful leafy, quirky mossy plants, and more. But it's not just about the greenery--there are incense, books, crystals, butterflies, soaps...you name it! The store smells heavenly, looks incredible, and has a calm yet playful vibe. It's less like shopping and more like embarking on a delightful, mini adventure. They're not bargain-bin-cheap, but they're fair--think solid value for truly unique finds. The person running the place is beyond lovely: friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and endlessly patient with all my enthusiastic (read: relentless) questions. Eventually I had to leave because I was making a very long mental list of plants I wanted to buy but likely to kill at home.

Today the cashier, Vasantai, was so pleasant and helpful and surprisingly the other customers that were shopping were very talkative. I think we were all amazed at the 50% off already reduced prices with an additional 25% off coupon. The selections of clothing varied. They had all seasonal clothing available and on sale. I was bummed because I had a gift card at home and didn't expect to shop the way I did.

Once the Amazon item is returned, Koh's provides a $5 coupon good for a week. When combined with other coupons, such as a 30% off coupon, and then again combined with a sale (buy one package of socks, get the second package for 50% off), a shopper can receive a much better value than purchasing the same items from Amazon, etc. In this case, my items cost $3.50 each, whereas they were selling on Amazon for more than twice that amount. However, if I wasn't already in the store, I would not have bothered. The customer service line was at least 10 people deep, the checkout line was about 20 people with only two registers open, the merchandise displays were a disorganized mess and their wifi went down for a short time (so they couldn't take returns or process purchases). For those focused on price over service, this may be your place!
