Loved visiting the Crossing, there are soo many great shops here... We visited Babeis/Toys and Kohls, cant wait for Michaels to Open... There are soo many other stores that we will be trying next stop also... Convienently located & AMPLE parking all around for all stores... So far is wonderful & very clean, lets see how it is in a year or so... Hopefully it will always be this great! read more

Northborough crossing has a nice selection of stores, including Massachusetts' only Wegman's (as of this writing), and it's slightly off the beaten path, which I'm sure the residents appreciate. HOWEVER - having just a stop sign at the east exit onto US 20 eastbound, as opposed to a traffic light, is just a series of accidents waiting to happen. That, in my mind, is unacceptable and just plain dangerous. read more

Northborough Crossing opened about five years ago, and even though that may seem like a long time ago, construction is STILL going on for another new shopping area with new restaurants and other places (mostly useless businesses though..... how many urgent care places can their possibly be!). Anyway, Northborough Crossing consists of a good amount of big box and smaller retail chain stores. The first Wegmans in Massachusetts, BJ's, Kohl's, Dick's Sporting Goods, TJ Maxx, Michaels, Petsmart, and Toys R Us are among the big-boxes in the complex. Other, smaller, stores include Eastern Mountain Sports, Famous Footwear, AT&T, Charming Charlie, DressBarn, AT&T, Yankee Candle, Carter's, GNC, ULTA Beauty, and others. Restaurants throughout the complex include IHOP, Applebee's, MOOYAH, Burger King, Starbucks, Qdoba, and Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza. There probably should be and will be more restaurants in the coming months, I would assume from all of the construction. Either way, decent assortment of everything in this complex. On another note, I do have a few complaints, resulting in my rating being four stars instead of five. On any given day that there is even a chance of this plaza being busy, exit using the far exit near Kohl's. The regular way is such a congestion of traffic due to SO many stop signs. Sure, they help with people going slow and safety, but the traffic backups are horrific! Also, the spread of the shopping center in general is wide, which can be good and can be bad. Dick's Sporting Goods and IHOP are way too far away to be walked from anywhere else to. Sort of inconvenient. Overall, I do like this shopping center and would suggest it as a good place to do some serious shopping in this area without driving to Natick. 4 stars. read more

Love this shopping center - so many things you could need to do in one stop: BJs, Wegmans, Eastern Mountain Sports, Pet Smart, Michaels, Toys R Us. Traffic in and out can be kind of a nightmare but there is plenty of parking and I never have issues finding close spots to whereever Im going. read more

Stopped here this past Thursday, to finally check out the Wegmans. This shopping center is a treasure trove of big box stores. Yes, there are smaller stores here too, but they're probably not the reason you are coming here. One could easily spend hours and oodles of money before getting out of here. Parking was easy, plenty of spots to be had. Only to entry/exits on either side of this huge lot. It's no wonder I missed the restaurants tucked away on the south side on my way out. read more

Just moved in this neighborhood and was happy to see stores that were near me back in NJ! Very clean and ample parking, nice stores (Ulta, Babies R Us, Michaels, etc.). Also nice is Wegmans - it's on the pricy side, but I find bargains here with the store brand which is perfect. For restaurants there is IHOP and Qdoba. It looks like more places might open up here but for now it's quite nice to go to! read more

The shopping center is not a good place. The parking lot is like a fight club, every for themselves. You can not walk to the shops or drive through the parking lot with out several near misses. The BJ parking lot is the worst design for a lot that I have ever seen. I can't believe the town let them build the parking lot this way. The main way into BJ's is right by the front door. You have to dodge cars cars just to walk out of the store. 90 percent of the cars coming and going have to travel through a narrow passage next to the front door to the store. The town also let them build a McDonald's and a Starbucks but left no room for the large tractor trailer trucks to deliver food. How could they let two store be built with no consideration on how the product will get in to the place. When rucks deliver they have to blocks the cars from coming and going. Horrible location for a strips mail. read more

Since I found no reviews of any kind on Olde Shrewsbury Village I wanted to briefly recall the…read morehistory and use the last paragraph to give a current description. By doing so the reader will understand my rating. To use a current saying , "it is what it is" but it is certainly not what it was! On my last visit I noticed even the word "Olde" was dropped from the signage. Designed ahead of its time Olde Shrewsbury was a unique outdoor off price center built in the 1980s. The "shoppes" were designed to resemble an old English village with their brick, stucco with dark wood exteriors which lined a wide brick walk way. In many ways the village resembled a hybrid of the outdoor life style centers and discount outlets which are so popular today. The Christmas Tree Shop and Decelle were the orginal anchors which shared a 2 story building. The Christmas Tree Shops were originally created as well maintained discount "gift shops" and this location rivaled the compmany's flagship location . The imposing building reflected the C.T.S. original owner's pride. A large lobby with a water fountain and a ceiling decorated with a lighted star constellation (spot lights) greeted visitors. On the lower level Decelles, a New England owned discounted department store chain, on par with Mashalls offered many upscaled brands at great prices (I still recall the Burberry's shirt I bought for around $20 dollars). This upscale discount surrounding set the tone for the rest of the stores. Steps away Newport Creamery, a Rhode Island ice cream/ coffee shop chain offered indoor table service meals along with outdoor picnic tables. In addition, a few store fronts up a gourmet cafe, which was a 1980s staple in many places, offered fresh flavored coffees (grounded not flavor shots), fancy desserts and sandwiches. Completeing the center were smaller company owned discount outlets, like Swank, a maker of leather belts and wallets, and some gift shops. These village's stores were new to this immediate and often drew crowds on the weekends. Unfortunately, business must have declined after a few years for a number of factors. First, a newer larger discount designer mall opened in nearby Worester (no longer there) followed a super sized premium outlet about 40 minutes away. In addtion, the stores unique to this region went out of business including The Newport Creamery, Decelle, along with some smaller one of a kind stores. More recently, newer shopping centers and discount stores have opened nearby. In response to declining business, the Olde Shrewburry owners tore down a large portion of the quaint shops to open the center to rt 9 and create more of a big box shopping center and painted over the orginal buildings with bright pastel colors to attract new businesses and shoppers. Today, the village is more like a power center . A large Jo Ann' s Fabric Store and Sear Outlet Store ocuppy the western half of the center. The former Newport Creamery now houses a Cape Cod Crafter, an assignment gift store. A Yankee Candle Store (retail not outlet I believe) is located next to The Christmas Tree Shop. The once welcoming lobby of this anchor lacks its former luster. The water fountain is turned off (on my last visit anyway), the ceililing star concellation no longer (painted over?) in use and an array of sale merchadise sady crowd the entry way much like a indoor yard sale (see review for Christmas Tree Shop Shrewsbury). Decelle on the lower level which was replaced by a Burlington Coat Factory now is vacant, as the latter business relocated in a near by plaza. Ironically, beside the Christmas Tree Shop the little gourmet cafe remains. Thought the menu has changed, and possibly the owners, the decor, along with the tables and chairs are original. Stopping in for a soft drink and snack may give a shopper a reminder or an idea of what Olde Shrewburry Village once was.While this center may be no better or worst than the others the village is no longer the "tourist drawn" unique, upscale, discount center the place was created to be.

i ordered a new mattress on 3/11 which was supposed to arrive on 3/17…read moreno texts, no communication at all about this transaction so i called Bjs who told me item shipped with no tracking information i called member services who said they were going to get to bottom of this Sunday i got an email saying mattress would be delivered between 9:30-1:30 so i rearranged my day to be here so when they delivered they would bring it to my door and not leave it outside since i would not be able to bring it in myself its now 2:30 and i heard some commotion outside, and of course someone dumped my mattress on the outside walkway of apartment complex in the rain... i was inside waiting since 9:30am as instructed now im sitting in the hallway looking at my mattress blocking walkway for other tenants trying to locate some help to get it inside so first they loose it, then they dump it outside and leave it without even ringing my doorbell after l waited all day super disappointed... bjs really dropped the ball on this one

One of the most horrible experiences you can have in a store in 10 mins while doing an in store…read morepick up order that was already paid for! The manager? Nasty attitude and dismissive! I walked in and there were two employees at the front desk blowing up balloons for ONE customer. I've worked retail all my life, you don't need TWO anything blowing up balloons for ONE customer when there are others in the store needing to be serviced! After maybe two mins of just standing there, the employee who I later found out through requesting a managers name that she was in fact the manager, she turns around and asks me what do I need, not a "Hello welcome in!" NOTHING! Like I owe her something. I tell her my last name for my pick up and she says "give me a few" and proceeds to help the boy staff member trying to get balloons that he let float to the ceiling! After maybe another 8 mins, she asks me for my last name AGAIN then proceeded to tell me that she didn't have an order for me after I showed her the email that said it was ready at that location and paid for so she walks off to the back then comes back to the front with my bag, no apology for the wait or her confusion on her part as I sat and watched her give the woman free balloons for her patience and her wait! Low value service, no one else even attempted to chime in and assist and when I said something to her about it, she dismissed me and cut me right off during me telling her that that is not the way you deal with customers ESPECIALLY as a manager! I'll be sure to never return there as that was my first and very last experience! All of that for $7 headphones for my son?! I could've ordered from Amazon on my prime and got them next day with no hassle! Which I'll be doing moving forward! Pathetic store!

Over the past five weeks, I struggled to rectify the order I placed. The manager, Brian, was more that attentive. Brian exercised every avenue and option to make the order right. Turned out it was a technology glitch that Brian could not fix. However, his willingness to work with me was above and beyond customer service. Brian called, texted, emailed all updates and progress. In the end, I ended up with a beautiful custom print 12" X 12"....just not the size I wanted, 16" X 20." Initially, I went into the store to pick up the online order I placed only to discover it wasn't what I ordered. Michael's associates Nina and Myrna spent over an hour trying to remedy the situation. No luck. Finally, I ended up working with Shawn and Brian. I was refunded the complete purchase price of both prints. The photos are absolutely beautiful. It is without hesitation that I recommend the management and staff at Michael's, Northborough Crossing. To this day, when I enter the store, Nina goes out of her way to say, "Hello" and inquire about the final outcome of my dilemma. I have always used Michael's for all of my stationary, crafting and custom framing needs. I encourage anyone to find better customer service than my recent experience with the attentive staff of Brian, Nina, Myrna and Shawn!
