A few of my favorite stores are Dillards and Macey's'. With department stores dying these two do well. Another favorite is Apple which our family has purchased products from over the years. The overall appearance has changed over the years for the better and continues to be a draw for business who want to sign leases. If there is a negative it can be parking, but that's ok. That's the price of success. I will also say the lot is clean and secured. I will continue to be a regular shopper at Lynnhaven Mall.

There's also the Sandler Center, Funnybone, and a number of other stores for shopping!! There are a few parking garages as well as street parking if you're lucky. I added the bronzed salmon, which was flaky and tender. The clam chowder didn't come out before the meal, but our waitress caught it and still brought it out. It must have been good because it was gone quickly. No one else even got a taste. We had two kids with us and our waitress made sure that their orders were placed earlier while the adults were still trying to make selections. I was impressed that our service was excellent with such a large party. We were seated in this cute circular booth. Because this place is very popular, give yourself time to wait for a table, enjoy the bar or Neptune Patk while you pass the time. It's worth the wait!

I've brought family and friends here, had date nights for my birthday or anniversaries or special occasions, and come here to carb-load before running weekends. There is a Nothing Bundt Cakes here and they have the best cakes I've ever had so I always stop to get these for special occasions and they're the only cakes I want for my birthday. There is a Chico's here which now also sells Soma Intimates from their sister brand. There is also a shop right beside Chico's which exclusively sells Lily Pulitzer clothing and has some seriously gorgeous and colorful and fun clothing inside. Some of the spots have changed on and off throughout the years: a coffee shop, bridal shops (this is where I got a stunning wedding dress for my 2015 wedding). Parking is easy, there is plenty, and it's always immaculate. This is a great spot with some nice, niche shops and Aldo's is one of my favorite local restaurants. Service is always excellent and food is top notch! The only issue is the access roads off Laskin, but they're working on those and hopefully all will be better in coming years.

Kohls Target REI The Fresh Market Nordstrom Rack Old Navy DSW Rack Room Shoes Red Cross Bahama Breeze Latitude If I missed any I'm not aware. A very large area is vacant where Sears once was. The center of the surrounding buildings which once occupied the mall has been leveled. The plan as I understand is to build a senior living community.

Pembroke Square has been completely redone. It's now much more current and vibrant with newer…read moreshops and reasons to shop. After a years long renovation and redo - it's now more like the outdoor shopping malls of Richmond or Hampton. The old, moldy indoor mall is gone and now it's fresh and clean with a Bath and Body Works, REI, Fresh Market, huge super Target, Old Navy and Nordstrom Rack. There are more shops but those are the ones I frequent the most. Since Nordstrom sadly departed MacArthur a few years ago this is the only Nordstrom you'll find on this side of the water. It's not the same as the three-story beauty in Norfolk but it'll do - even if it's only their discount arm. I love the shoe section there. Best deals in town. This is an updated shopping center with plenty of easy parking and some dining (Smokey Bones anyone - nah, I'll pass) as well.

You can find restaurants here, jewelry, home goods, foods, plants, electric bikes, furniture, gifts, Hallmark... it's home to some great locally owned shops that I frequent pretty often as well as an ice cream shop, Starbucks, and Ethan Allen and Fresh Market. It's an absolutely huge shopping center that has multiple entrances and exits so you can easily get in an out. Note: I do recommend you only enter and exit with traffic lights as the access roads for Laskin are notoriously confusing and frustrating to deal with. I'll be glad when they're gone... perhaps in the next 15-20 years? Ha. Still, worth the visit.

So some of my favorite businesses located in Hilltop East are The Butcher's Son (previously Fire & Vine), Bottlecraft, Taste, YMCA, Great Outdoor Provision Co. and Birkenstock store. There are many more to check out. The Hilltop area is an upper-scale strip that is in a beautiful area of Virgina Beach only three miles from the oceanfront. I will continue to shop and eat at establishments in the area and recommend.

It's a winding, clean, up to date shopping area with a plethora of stores & eateries too numerous to list. Landstown Commons is beautifully landscaped and maintained. The restaurant I visited was in a cute area with a small one way around and back with a greenway & trees in the middle. It was very aesthetically pleasing. The selections of businesses in this area were mixed and varied, leading one to want to revisit & explore. What a change the Dam Neck, General Booth area has experienced in the almost 40 years since we were house hunting following our move from Atlanta. During that time there were almost no housing developments in the area. We looked at one under construction on the east side of General Booth. But there was absolutely no shopping centers or eateries. It felt as if we were in the country, in the midst of fields. Dam Neck & Plaza Trail had not been extended. Nimmo Parkway didn't exist. Who would want to live in an area with no amenities? But who could have envisioned what it would become. Now the area is teaming with shopping, restaurants & housing developments. After my first visit I think Landstown Commons must be the crown jewel of them all. Even though it's a long distance from my house, it will require another exploration visit. It was too near sundown on my first visit to stay. There may be similar areas. I see an exploration trip in my future.

There is a great variety of eateries and stores that satisfies my need to window shop or spend money! The center has 2 entrances - 1 on Princess Anne Rd and 1 on Dam Neck, both with stoplights. The PA entrance can be a little hairy during the lunch hour or busy weekends, but isn't too bothersome. There are always those who don't want to abide by the unspoken rules of the 3-way stop and yield to incoming traffic. There is ample parking if you don't mind not parking directly in front of the store you are going to during busy hours. Several of the stores (Carter's, Ulta, Old Navy) have curbside pick up so you may see vehicles parked on the curb. I really like that I can hit Kohl's and the aforementioned stores on foot easily as they are on opposite sides of the parking lot from each other. Best Buy is also convenient along with several other boutique stores, Phoenix Salon Suites, IT stores, you name it. Most of the eateries (aside from BWW, IHOP, Ynot and Super Ninja) are on a separate roundabout near the Dam Neck entrance. This can get a little crazy at lunch hour too, so I always recommend parking behind the restaurants for easy-in/easy-out. The center is well-maintained and always looks clean. I notice the golf cart occasionally making the morning rounds before 8am to empty bins and pick up stray trash. So long as I'm working nearby, you can find me here on the regular!

Ulta is still my bestie even though we see each other infrequently. Navy Federal Credit Union is now in the center, and this location is excellent. Joann Fabric is no more, but a furniture store I haven't visited has moved into the space. I rarely visit Five Below, but when I do, I don't leave empty-handed. Outback sees my face every once in a blue moon. Several other businesses in the plaza would love to see you any time you're in the neighborhood. Parking is UNGH and I usually park farm from where I'm actually visiting.

I like this shopping center, but don't love it…read more I hate the access road nightmare so I tend to come in by the back along Petsmart and Target to avoid all that carnage. Hopefully it will be completed "soon". Trader Joes and Petsmart seem to be the anchors here - there was a Kirklands but it is now closed and a few of the other stores have rotated on and off throughout the years but Petsmart and Trader Joes are here to stay it seems. Still, if you are already in this plaza, there are some interesting things to see and do.
