This was my biggest mistake because I thought I would be able to get a comprehensive list together, but I wasn't able to. So the Indian music was lacking. In the middle of the reception, Michael walks over to our sweetheart table and asked me, the bride, what was supposed to be happening at that moment! I had given them documents of the order of things for that very reason and we had a planner. Obviously, I would have problems remembering off the top of my head what was next. I told him the wrong thing and we had to awkwardly go back and do some things we skipped over. That was very bad form for a DJ. The DJ, Michael, would yell out things like "Saturday nights" during the dance music which obviously is not the right vibe for a wedding. He did not read the crowd well and played songs for too long when everyone was tired of it and not dancing anymore. The photobooth was not set up correctly. When Joe and I spoke about it on the phone, he said there would be 10 feet of space that the photobooth would capture but they had it set up so that there was only like 6 feet. I remember this because after I got the measurements from him, I tried to get a floral backdrop that was as wide at the picture would be able to get. I couldn't get anything bigger than an 8ft wide wall but even that wasn't fully captured. The guy monitoring the photobooth was very rude and badly behaved. He was having the time of his life (which we got in our videos) and gave me attitude about how we were still taking pictures at the end of the night. Given these issues, I would say how much we paid made sense because they were on the cheaper side (compared to Indian DJs). The uplighting made the ballroom look great. From the pre-wedding planning to the ceremony to the reception, she ensured that everything went flawlessly. If anything went awry, I sure didn't know of it. She handled EVERYTHING. I emphasize that because the venue was supposed to provide an on-site coordinator to assist with certain things. That person was no where to be found. The Monday before, Moe contacted my daughter and I for a FaceTime session to review music that would be played at the party. We told him what we wanted to listen to and he gave suggestions. Despite this preparation, we were informed just one day before the celebration that the originally contracted DJ would not be attending due to a scheduling conflict involving a high-profile client. Instead, a replacement DJ was sent. Unfortunately, the substitute did not meet the expectations outlined in our agreement. He failed to deliver the planned announcements at key moments and did not engage the crowd or create the lively atmosphere we had envisioned. He only spoke when prompted directly, even though he had been given the same detailed instructions as the original DJ. We are deeply disappointed in SkaiLive Events for not honoring their commitment and for expecting full payment despite the lack of follow-through. This event was a once-in-a-lifetime celebration, and the DJ's performance fell short of what was promised and paid for.

I am only giving 4 stars because although everything was beautiful and they went above and beyond with the siding, there was a piece of the walkway to the tent that was kind of uneven and we warned them several times could be dangerous for some of the older guests at our wedding. They said they would fix it but never did and my mother-in-law rolled her ankle and had to go home before we even made it to the reception! I would absolutely use them again and recommend them, but I am subtracting a star on behalf of my in laws who had to miss the reception and my mother-in-law in particular who had to spend a week in bed.
