This is a large wedding or party venue on the northeast side of Houston that looks a bit like a castle or old style European estate from the front. Our granddaughter and her husband were married there. As the weather was still quite hot outside we were grateful they had decided on an indoors wedding. The downstairs floor is for large group functions like wedding ceremonies, receptions and dancing, the upstairs has a place for bride and groom and their attendants to dress and socialize prior to the wedding. There is an area that can be used for a bar as well as one for serving food, a kitchen with large countertops and refrigerators is adjoining. The wedding ceremony took place on a large stage with floor to ceiling windows behind and a view of the heavily forested grounds. There is plenty of parking space out in front and a large covered driveway for guests to be dropped off or for the newlyweds to depart from. About the only drawback we observed was that it could be very loud at times when the DJ was speaking over the sound system or the music was playing. So many hard surfaces that sound was reflected and made it hard to hear what was being said. This may have been more to do with the person acting as the sound person who set up her own equipment up on the second floor. I think if the system had been on the lower floor it would have been better so keep this in mind if you decide to do a wedding here. One of the worst experiences imaginable -- avoid at all costs. If I could give this venue zero stars, I would. The entire experience with their so-called "wedding specialist," Emma Montoya, was a nightmare from start to finish. Her conduct was not only grossly unprofessional, but outright rude and condescending. Before we officially booked the venue, we had a great experience with Caley, the wedding specialist we originally worked with. She was kind, helpful, responsive, and part of the reason we felt confident moving forward with this venue. Unfortunately, shortly after we signed our contract, Caley must have quit, because we were suddenly reassigned to Emma Montoya -- and from that point on, everything went downhill. From the beginning of our interactions with Emma, communication was a mess. Emails were constantly misdirected to the wrong couple, scheduled meetings were ignored or mishandled, and any questions we had about their in-house DJ services were either brushed off or met with unclear, incomplete responses. Our first scheduled meeting with their DJ never happened -- he simply didn't show up. No email, no call, no apology. And we didn't hear from anyone at the venue about it for the entire week following. It was incredibly unprofessional and disappointing. That said, to be fair, the DJ ultimately delivered a great performance at the wedding. His sets were fun, energetic, and the crowd really enjoyed the music. Unfortunately, the poor communication extended to other vendors included in The Springs' "all-inclusive" package. The florist, for example, never responded to me -- not once. I would strongly caution any couples against using the venue's preferred vendor list. While it may sound convenient, the lack of communication and reliability is not worth the risk. I highly recommend sourcing your own vendors instead. The most frustrating experience, by far, came with our wedding rehearsal. We had confirmed multiple times via emailthat it was scheduled for September 18th -- the day before our wedding. Despite this, when we arrived with our full wedding party, Emma coldly told us there was no record of our rehearsal and demanded we leave -- making no effort to understand the situation or offer a solution. Shortly after, the site coordinator returned with security to escort us off the property, treating us like trespassers instead of the couple getting married there the next day. Even with clear documentation showing that we had confirmed the date, no one took accountability for the venue's error. Emma was unapologetic and dismissive throughout. On our actual wedding day, Emma continued with the same brash attitude. Our outside wedding planner -- a seasoned professional -- had her own issues with Emma, describing her as rude and uncooperative. It's clear that this is her standard behavior, not a one-off incident. Emma's bio says she "loves helping couples" and is passionate about weddings, but nothing in her behavior reflects that. She lacks basic communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to manage even the simplest logistical tasks with respect and grace. One of the few bright spots -- aside from the DJ's performance -- was the catered bar service, which was excellent. The drinks were great and the bar staff was friendly and efficient. But unfortunately, no amount of good music or cocktails can make up for the complete lack of professionalism, empathy, and organization that we encountered at this venue after booking. If you're planning your wedding, I strongly encourage you to stay far away from The Springs -- and especially from their all-inclusive package and vendor list. What should have been a joyful and exciting experience turned into one of the most stressful and disappointing chapters of our planning process. You only get one wedding day. Don't trust it to people who don't treat it with the care and respect it deserves. read more

We had the pleasure of utilizing the springs cypress event venue for our wedding day. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, inside and outside with many picture worthy areas. The required bar service and security services are top notch. The venue staff were very responsive via text and email with any questions my now husband and I had. The person giving us the tour was very very helpful. And they're super fast in responding. I loved the fact that I can hire any vendor I want and that's what I was looking for. Wish I could give 0 stars. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! They have no empathy and are so money hungry, they wouldn't allow a couple I know to reschedule their wedding date. The couple was afraid to complain or post negative reviews in case this place retaliates so I'm doing it for them. They had already started communications about rescheduling their wedding due to COVID 6 months before the scheduled date. The place said the contract requires an 8-month notice but, of course, nobody schedules a pandemic. Many guests are unable to travel during this time and the venue also cut down its capacity (understandably). However, who wants to hold their wedding at a venue originally reserved for 100+ people and now they've cut that down/people are unable to travel to attend?? The couple didn't even want to CANCEL, but rather RESCHEDULE. The couple was forced to cancel and lose their payment (several thousand $$$$). read more

This is the Worst Wedding Venue in America. Bride beware!! The venue is the most beautiful one I've ever seen but the staff here is just awful. I fell in love with the pink castle the second I saw it, but just after the 1st tour & meeting with the staff, my fiancé & I both came to the conclusion that they do not care about anything but money & had no interest whatsoever in helping you. He wanted to book a venue with better customer service & wow how I wish I would've listened. While trying to book our date, they were threatening us saying they were going to give our day to someone else, while we were waiting on them to send the payment link! How rude can you be? This venue is completely DIY, don't expect them to help you with anything or provide anything. You pay for strictly the empty venue, the blank tables, & chairs nothing else is included. They will not cut the cake unless you use their catering & there is no staff there that will help you set up your tables (ie liens, plates, centerpieces) or decor anywhere else. When I asked if we purchased their coordinator if they would be able to help out with set up, they told me they weren't sure if the coordinator would have time. I'm not going to pay for the coordinator if you can't tell me what they can do. You are promised 2 photo shoots before or after your wedding at the venue but good luck scheduling. They are booked just about every single day & you cannot go on the weekends when you're probably off of work. They also promise "unlimited site visits for planning" & it's a big selling point when they are selling you the dream that is not reality. Once you've booked you cannot tour the venue on event days, which like I said almost everyday is booked! Non-clients can though! The contract even says they can host tours from 8am to 1pm the day of your event, but once they already have your money you are no longer a priority. This place feels like a scam & if I could get a my $11,000 for nothing refunded I would be beyond happy to book my wedding at a venue with staff that works with you instead of against you. When I pay $11,000 to a company, I expect $11,000 worth of service to be provided. They do not value you here. Your wedding is not important to them. Save yourself the headache & book elsewhere. The beauty of this venue isn't worth the pain. My wedding is a month away I'll update how it goes afterwards. Hopefully it'll be better by then but I'm doubtful. read more

Find another venue that's family owned. They will actually care about you and your event. At the very least, negotiate your contract or get wedding insurance. You'll need it with The Springs. We were supposed to have our wedding here in February 2021. Planning from out of state is hard, but the _original_ management team worked really hard with me to iron out details. 1. Since we and 75% of our guests are from out of state and with the pandemic going on, we asked to postpone our wedding with 4-5 months notice. We offered to: - reschedule with a fee - postpone to a new date and pay for the 2nd date at some discount - resell the original date to another couple - _donate the original date to a charity event_ The Springs declined all of the above. 2. My fiance got COVID just before the wedding, and we could no longer fly out. Corporate "kindly" offered to reschedule our wedding to "any remaining date in the next 2 months." Talk about a logistics nightmare for you, your vendors, and your guests. _Eventually_, they offered any remaining 2021 date. The venue is popular and Saturdays are basically all booked up. RIP our dream wedding where our families can actually make it. 3. Between September of 2019 and December 2020, the ENTIRE management at the Cypress location had changed out. We don't know any of them. They don't know us. It just seems like bad business practice to have such drastic turn over. read more

This place is rather a far drive but is such a beautiful venue and I have been blessed to attend two weddings here in the past month (although good for other functions)! It is an European style venue featuring faux painted walls and vaulted ceiling with a beautiful double staircase entry that leads into the ballroom. It is amazing how much a venue can transform depending on the theme of the wedding, but both weddings were beautiful! One wedding even rented a gate to create a super grand entrance. The ballroom is usually where the ceremony is held and it is so picturesque as you walk down the aisle and up the stage to take your vows in front of a panel of windows where you glisten with the natural lighting looking out into the back terrace/outdoor grounds/gardens. After the ceremony we had a time for hors d'oeuvres and if the weather is nice the party is moved outside to the gardens, or upstairs to eat and mingle while stuff is prepared for the reception. The ballroom is converted to the reception area and the dance floor is opened as well as the buffet room and bar. Depending on the package, the food and bar selections vary (cash or not). After dancing the night away we had quite a memorable final send off as this place is not in the city of Houston no fireworks zone so we literally had a blast! I would definitely recommend this place for a venue but will warn it is a veryyy pretty penny and a bit far for guests from Houston. However, if you are looking for a place with lots of nice photo ops you might just fall in love with this veune: beautiful staircases, an outdoor fireplace, fountains galore, gazebo and a lake! Wow. I didn't even know this chateau existed. Not wedding planning...that must be why! Haha. Hard to find something when you're not actively searching for it. I came across this lovely chateau this weekend for a traditional Indian cradle ceremony for a 2 month old. He's the newest addition to the family I used to babysit for. Chateau Polonez reminds me of a wedding I went to in Northern California that had a vineyard, but this place is bigger. There's also plenty of parking. It can be hard to miss, but you'll notice vines lining the walls close to the entrance gates. It's 2 story with 2 staircases leading up to the balcony and additional prep rooms. The rooms are spacious and comes with a full bathroom. I was surprised to see a bathtub. There's definitely enough space to add more tables on the second floor for your wedding or special event. There's an open bar area on the first floor with seating, too. Even the women's restroom on the first floor has a chaise lounge. The outside has a trail, lake, and gazebo, which is perfect for photo ops. This place is fancy, and the service is great. I love the palatial decor and chandeliers. I'd consider this venue for a wedding and would recommend it to others who are willing to pay a pretty penny for it. read more

I was recently invited to a wedding at this location. I don't cross reference wedding venues via yelp before going, so I just clicked on the e-vite reminder and put the address into the GPS. As I'm driving I'm like WTH this place is really far away. Neither the bride or the groom lives out this way, so why are we here? Then the GPS says you have arrived...and then you're in the middle of an empty field. I'm like you got to be kidding me... Lucky for me, I was arriving a little behind and well there was a huge caravan of guests completely lost...so I followed the car in front of me for just a little bit until we arrive at this giant gate. And then BOOM. So see this beautiful mansion. And the answer of why is made. This place is unique. Nothing you will find in the city. Not sure on the costs but well worth it. The middle area is naturally lit, think ashton gardens, then after the ceremony, the curtains are pulled away and you see the whole room open up. Truly a different spot for a wedding. read more

Although they do not provide a wedding coordinator, which could have been really helpful, but still we had a pretty great time at our wedding and I didn't care for anything but to have fun and enjoy my day. He did a great job and was very professional and his food was fantastic! Leslie, our captain, was able to get there later and before the reception started.
