She is kind and warm and responsive. It was different that the sugar wax was cold but she talked me through it and I am happy I went. I have not had a wax in nearly six months, so I was way over due! She put some Netflix on for me to watch a little numbing spray and talked to me the entire time which was nice and helpful not to think about the very mild discomfort. I had a makeup trial with…read moreher a few months before the wedding to test out what I wanted and it helped me envision what I wanted for my wedding. Tonya was very professional the whole wedding planning process until 13 days before my wedding. After signing the contract in March for my October wedding, she tried to change the travel fee 13 days before my wedding. She wanted an additional $80 for travel. In total, I had 7 services booked for her the day of my wedding which I would not be able to find a replacement for so close to my wedding date. She stated she didn't realize how far away it was when the distance was in the contract she constructed. She stated in her email that she was trying to be fair with her travel prices and that she made a mistake in the contract. Instead of messaging me back in March when I booked her, she waited until 13 days before my wedding. After multiple emails back and forth, she said she would still do my bridesmaids and I's hair and makeup for the original price in the contract. My wedding makeup and bridesmaids hairstyles were incredible and we all felt so beautiful! The fees she sent for bridesmaids hair stated $75-$95 based on length. I had a bridesmaid with shoulder length hair and a bridesmaids hair half way down her back pay the same fee of $95 which was not what we were originally told. The whole day of the wedding she was very professional but did not clean up her trash that she left on the table that included dirty makeup sponges, tissues, mascara spoolies and q tips. Overall, Tonyas makeup and hairstyle skills are phenomenal and I could have not asked for a better look for my wedding. But it seems that she needs to grow in the professional sense with her clients.
