I went in searching for a good effective service, and my worst decision was to walk into this location. Dr.Lininger was not very accommodative, and was not willing to answer our questions when asked, he would respond to them when he decided to or would not give us a response AT ALL. I went in for my X-ray (paid $250) and he said I'd probably have developed arthritis, he told me to return the following day which I did. All he did was summarize my whole life story which was NOT what I needed, but a diagnoses and solution. He would seem to become very irritated when my mother would ask him a question. He later proceeded to ask me if I'd stay consistent with my appointments due to other patients lacking and canceling which would infuriate him. I had told him before making my decision I would like to first fix my schedule so I can receive the treatment because at the end of the day I am paying for the service. He proceeded to tell me "I am the Dr here, and you're here to tell me you'd rather put that before your treatment, are you listening what you are saying." I feel and felt disrespected and uncomfortable because it seemed like he wanted me to make my decision on the spot, I work 3 jobs, college student and participate in athletic activities. His tone and face changed and would talk over me after that. I proceeded to tell him that I'd like to hear the treatments and later on talk to my father. He was very mad and stopped the appointment and walked out and said he'd continue when I brought my dad. My parents are always working, and thankfully my mom was able to accompany to this appointment. I told him that I MYSELF a 20 yr old young woman wanted him to continue the appointment. He neglected to continue and literally walked out the office with the X-ray images and left angry. My mom was infuriated due to the lack of professionalism and disrespect we have encountered. He made us go back and forth to the office wasting our time. Alex his worker was trying to calm us down and explain. He looked a bit embarrassed due to Dr.Linginger reactions were COMPLETELY unacceptable. The doctor lacked of professionalism, and would force us upon to receive the treatment. Dr FITZPATRICK WILSON at MULTISPECIALITY (now EXCELSIA) finally relented and let me seek better help, but he must have called ahead to talk with Dr TURAKHIA. It was recommended by one of my doctors to go to GW after I complained about the care at MULTISPECIALTY. I thought I could go to GW for physical therapy and get better care than the place I was at. DR WILSON must have called ahead (I'm guessing) telling them I was a pill seeker. Dr TURAKHIA appeared to be adult woman doctor who must have been fresh out of med school. She didn't look me over properly, didnt look through my files, told me I probably had arthritis in my neck and that I already "had been injured in my back before and this accident set off my old injuries". She only looked at my neck. There was no back exam. She said she "didn't" prescribe pain meds. It was so strange. I was flabbergasted and was like "wait I thought I was going to have a care team and physical therapy..." "oh so you want physical therapy? Ok, I'll write for water therapy!" and she wrote a script for water therapy and dashed out the door. I saw her in the lobby and she ignored me. Next appointment was like months later if I remember correctly. I didn't go. She left me no choice but to find care elsewhere. I had no idea you cannot just stop pain meds and need to be tapered off or you risk withdrawals. I was in the ER so many times from 14 October 2017-2018 because the physical therapy chiropractor, Dr Richardson, was harming me with his malfunctioning equipment that he just laughed at as he kept shoving me in the back. He didn't get that he was making things worse. So I would end up at the ERs looking for like Tordol or something for pain. I wasn't looking to just increase my dose of opioids or "take an extra pill". I was being incredibly cautious. The withdrawals and pain from my injuries must have made it look like I was an addict or something? Like why didn't anyone actually TEST ME for alcohol & other substances? DR WILSON had cut me off my medications of HYDROCODONE and DIAZEPAM at the end of APRIL. I was OUT OF PAIN MEDS two weeks after I stopped seeing DR WILSON. I didn't see PALAK until 1 JUNE 2018.

They support holistic approaches and truly focus on treating underlying conditions and not just symptoms but they are impossible to get a hold of to get prescriptions refilled. The office number says they don't accept prescription refill requests over the phone but if they answer then they "do" only for them to not send the prescription to the pharmacy for weeks. You have to hound them over and over for days, get an appointment and remind the doctor three or four times in order to get my simple blood pressure medications and insulin refilled. The care is good even though the office is dreary, dull and outdated but the prescription refill process is a catastrophe.
